Entities will not be able to or will be less powerful haunting homes or land that contain objects used to control the paranormal. The following items/actions will cause problems for the haunters:

- quartz crystals

- holy water

- salt barriers on doors and windows

- crosses

- blessed objects, including charms and jewelry

- prayers/bible readings

- smudging of sage and sweet grass

- priests blessing an area

- protective spirits

- guardian angels

- blessed rosaries (cross necklaces)
