Hades had had enough. The Doors of Death incident have left him drained and demoralized, more than he usually was. Although the Seven have already closed the Doors doesn't mean the spirits went back to the Underworld.

Now, they are wrecking havoc, giving him paperwork and a migraine, overtime for everyone including Thanatos and Melinoe and he had a few angry Gods about death management on his tail...

He had to do something.

Meanwhile, throughout all the overwork, one worker was worried. This Doors of Death breach had led too close to home. Too many spirits roaming around. They will discover... and eventually Hades as well. The secret has been kept for millennia but can it still? Please...

Nico's POV

It's been a month since Gaia has been defeated and I was mostly happy spending my time at Camp Half Blood with friends and my doctor, who as a few days ago, was more than a friend.

Now, with 'more than a friend', we were working together to catch the flag at one of the games in camp.

"Don't overdo it," Will warned, meaning my Underworld magic.

I groaned. It's only been a month, so why does he have to worry so much?

"Don't groan at me, Angel," Will said, smiling happily when he used the nickname.

"But I'm fine. I'm perfectly capable of using my Underworld magic," I said.

"But I just worry about you..." Will said, looking at me meaningfully.

I couldn't help let out a smile, but one that is short lived because while we were running on attack mode for the flag, a demigod sprung from the bushes, trying to attack both me and Will.

I parried the attack in the nick of time, and knocked him out with the back of my sword easily.

I smiled at Will again, "Who said you needed to worry about me?"

Will smiled at the demonstration and shook his head, but he said, "I don't know... spending time with you, you are someone who goes through a lot of trouble and as your boyfriend, I just can't help-"

He was silenced with a peck of a kiss from me, which made me blushed intensely as I have never done something so bold.

I just did that to show how much I appreciated it, but words failed me now as I ran ahead, beckoning Will to follow.

It somehow slightly irked me that Will had a half bemused, half smug expression on his face.

"Get a room, you lovebirds!" Percy shouted as he immediately went on attack mode at Will. Before he knew it, a shadow grabbed a hold of his leg and dragging him away from Will. He scowled at me, because if it were up to him, I wouldn't be using my Underworld magic... at all. But I just smiled easily at him and Percy, while mockingly saying... "And how about you and Annabeth?"

"Touche," Percy responded.

And soon it was just fun and laughs. I really want this to last forever, friends and a boyfriend. Is there anything better?

It was soon after the game was over that I knew I jinxed myself.

I was chatting with Will about to kiss him when the shadows pulled me away and into Hades's throne room where he was sitting on his throne with a scowl on his face.

Ladies and gentleman, just for blocking me kissing Will, Hades is officially the God of Cockblocking.

But I didn't let my feelings show about that, as I knelt down in front of Hades and murmured, "Father, you have summoned me?"

"You do know about the situation with the Doors of Death, don't you?" Hades asked without preamble. I just nodded, waiting for Hades to get a move on.

"Now... the Seven indeed close the Doors of Death, but there are still many wandering spirits around, and quite concerning as well that they also decide to frequent a certain place..."

"A certain place?" I asked, with my brows raised.

"Yes, it's your job to investigate it and deal with the spirits. The place is Amity Park. Do well, or the paperwork will be torture," Hades said, rubbing his temples.

Paperwork is already torture, but why add more torture?

And I left in the shadows.

"Wow, not even a month and you are off into another mission?" Will asked in shock.

"Don't need to rub it in, Will..." I murmured, packing up from my cabin where I was talking with Will after he was worried when the shadows took me. Will assumed it was my Underworld magic gone wrong and fretted, almost igniting a demigod search. Thank Hades I traveled back before that happened.

Now, however, he was fussing over me going to another mission after just a month of resting. Seriously, we were a couple only a few days ago and he's acting like my wife.

Maybe we were married in the past life and it just reflects here. Who knows?

"But really, your Underworld magic is very unstable, and you are going again after only just a month?" Will asked, concerned.

I sighed, "I don't really want this either, Will, but I can't defy Father either."

"Then let's go together," Will said.

My brows shot up as I uttered, "What?"

"Oh, come on. You are not alone, and I am your boyfriend for a reason. So, why not I accompany you in this mission? You might not still be in the tip top shape and it's best that you have your favorite doctor coming with you just in case you feel a little out. I'm sure I can make it better~"

Will winked, I blushed.

"..." I can't say anything right now.

nico.exe has encountered the blush virus which makes nico.exe unable to work and needs to be rebooted with common sense so a logical response can be formed. Unfortunately, the will program that brought the virus continued to attack while rebooting, taking over nico.exe.

"Please..." Will said, "What boyfriend will I be if you end up in trouble there and I couldn't help? Plus, it would be nice to spend more time with you, and get to know you better. After all, we only started dating recently and that's because I had you at the infirmary last month. Why don't we do this mission together as a couple? It will help you better~"

Will used Persuasion, it was super effective and I completely blushed a red tomato before saying, "Alright."

Will clapped his hands together, "Well, I will pack too, and... how are we going to get to... Amity Park?"

"We are going to shadow travel," I said.

"What, no!" Will protested.

"Don't worry, Will," I reassured, "The place isn't that far anyway, you know?"

"But still!" Will shouted, ready for a long, long protest.

"It will be fine, Dr. Annoying," I quickly said.

"Dr. Annoying?" Will asked, brows furrowed together.

"You call me Angel, I can call you Dr. Annoying," I finally said.

"Fair, but why Dr. Annoying. I call you Angel because you are an angel.

"I call you Dr. Annoyong because you are an annoying doctor fussing over me like that," I said, smiling.

"But do you hate it?" Will asked, approaching me nearer until we were just feet apart.

"...No," I said, after recovering from the shock of Will being so near to me.

"Good," Will smiled as he kissed me.

nico.exe has truly stopped working and need some time to reboot. Beep.

Needless to say, it took some time for me to recover my shock until Will finished packing and came back to my cabin. Then, we shadow travelled out of here together...
