SYNOPSIS.

Rosyn Rivers apologized too much – these words sticked to her mind like honey sticks onto any object it comes in contact with. Her mother – her sweet, kind, innocent mother – used to say that to her. But the Seven never allowed the girl to stay with her mother for a long time, losing her at the bare age of nine.

She apologized for a number of things – being born a bastard, for taking the wrong turn home when she was younger, for scratching her knees, for biting her nails, for ruining a chair when she kicked it so harshly, for tearing a dress, for spilling dornish red, for loving. Dear Gods, she apologized for loving, for allowing the sick and twisted ivy to plant itself under her skin. Rosyn Rivers pleaded the Seven – dear Gods she had so much to apologize for – to take this away, to take away the forsaken feelings of adoration towards princess Helaena Targaryen. But the Gods never listen to girls.

ROSYN

(quiet) Someone has to leave. A tale as old as time.

(She moves towards the doors. She turns back at the girl. She places a peeled orange on the table)

HELAENA

(motions her head to the orange) Why?

ROSYN

(wearier) Because I love you.

- she's Harwin Strong's bastard child and he loves her dearly, she's his kid after all but he keeps her a secret. Like, he acknowledges her and gives her his love and time but he's not all so public with it

- When Helaena is young, Alicent searches for a girl who'd be her playmate, someone who'd stick around her daughter. So, naturally, Harwin steps forward and suggests Rosyn. Alicent doesn't really know she's a bastard (because, let's face it, she'd never allow her sweet Helaena come in contact with a bastard). So, Rosyn becomes Helaena's playmate

- Rosyn is fully devoted to the Faith of the Seven, that's why she's going through such a crisis when she realizes she loves Helaena. Like full blown mental crisis because she feels it's wrong to have feelings like these but she can't help it. Also! Alicent adores her because she believes in the Seven

- When they grow, Rosyn becomes a lady in waiting for Helaena

- Rosyn is like deadly afraid of bugs and small creatures but she never says anything because she wants to spend time with Helaena <33

- In my head, Rosyn gets a bunch of oranges from back home and she peels them for Helaena in an act of love <3 because I will never get over those stupid, heartbreaking quotes and poems about oranges

- The amount of heartbreak she goes through when Helaena has to marry Aegon. She definitely helps her get ready and has the words "I love you" on the tip of her tongue but she bites them back

- Rosyn loves Helaena's children like they're her own because they're all pieces of Helaena

- theplot goes only to the end of S1 of the show but if you'd want to, I would LOVEto see it go further & into Fire and Blood!!
