SYNOPSIS.

"A man is a foolish creature," would say the late Mina Tyrell, "all you have to do is bat those pretty eyes of yours towards them and they will be on their knees, worshiping your every step." (She would also call that "being cuntstruck.")

Alis Tyrell used her grandmother's teachings in her advantage. First time visiting King's Landing and the Targaryen family, the young girl was determent to become a permanent resident. All sweet – honey like – words escaped her lips around Queen Alicent (slipping how much she is devoted to the Faith of the Seven), her great passion for insects around princess Helaena, High Valyrian phrases and interest in dragons around prince Aemond, piquing her interest in the design of the city that King Viserys was making, and around prince Aegon? She didn't need to speak, simply sending him her sweet and innocent smile his way. All in a course of a week, Alis Tyrell had the Targaryen family adoring every step she made. Thus, she became princess Helaena's lady and childhood companion.

But she had her mind set on a greater goal than to just remain a lady to a princess – Alis Tyrell was placed in this world to become the Queen (by the words of her grandmother Mina, of course). But what could the poor girl do? Aegon – despite his obvious desire for the Tyrell girl – was soon betrothed to his sister. Aemond – despite her sweet words – was more interested in his swords, books and dragons than to notice the obvious flirtation. And she had no use of the baby Daeron.

So – naturally – her eyes wandered to the first born of princess Rhaenyra; Jacaerys Velaryon. Mina Tyrell was right in all of her words: men are simple creations – look at them lovingly, smile gently at them and bat your lashes at them. Jacaerys Velaryon was in deep trouble. Cuntstruck.

- originally already published but I realized hallway I cannot write a manipulative character to save my life LMAO

- but yes!! Alis is the definition of manipulation

- Alis is known as the Spider to many at court because there are rumours that she has spies all around the castle and beyond (which she does, tbh)

- Jace is like 100%, fully devoted to her. Completely whipped and in love

- Alis and Jace meet when they come back to King's Landing for the whole who is the heir of Driftmark conversation. In my head, they first see each other at the yard where Aemond is training. And she's definitely at the dinner because she is oh, so loved by the Targaryens. And Jace is literally completely and utterly stuck on her. And, yes, he is engaged to Baela by then but what stops him from breaking the engagement?? (Daemon would def be so so pissed)

- they get married really quickly (Alis being the one to push the wedding soon)

- I honestly have no idea as to where this would go but I can see Alis trying to get pregnant as soon as possible, to give Jace an heir so she would secure her position in court

- also, her being Margaery's ancestor just makes much sense to me
