SYNOPSIS.

Jude Weston was born a hater (and will probably die as one). She hated the smelly, full train to Hogwarts, occupied by first years babbling about how excited and nervous they are and by seven years that were up each other's throats like it was their last day alive. She despised the stupid system of her school. She could find a million different things she'd much prefer doing instead of sitting in a classroom learning about potions and magical animals when she intended to spend her entirety of life back in the muggle's world, helping her family in their diner.

James Potter was born a lover (and will probably die as one). He loved the full train to Hogwarts. He would smile at the first years that were excited to spend the next seven years in a magical school. He was happy for the seven years who were madly in love with each other (though jealous, he never showed it). He loved his school. He couldn't find any other thing he'd much prefer doing instead of sitting in a classroom filled with his friends, learning about magic (okay, maybe Quidditch).

Jude and James came from different worlds, that much was known. They never crossed paths – in the seven years they knew each other, the two maybe spoke two words (probably a good morning and can I borrow your pen?). That changed in their last year when they went through the four breaking points of their newly found relationship.

JUDE

(teasing) Even when you're a famous Quidditch star?

JAMES

(smiles) Even when I'm a famous Quidditch star.

NOTES.

WIZARDING INFORMATION (anything not mentioned is up to you!):
• House: Ravenclaw (values learning, wisdom, wit, and intellect. Students are academically motivated and creative thinkers. Ravenclaws can be eccentric and curious, always seeking to learn more. They are logical and rational, but also think outside the box)

• Patronus: the Occamy* (Those with the Occamy patronus are thoughtful. People with this patronus can often be found reflecting on previous events and on profound ideas. Those with this patronus often have a creative side too, excelling in creative subjects. Those with the Occamy are very protective of their friends. They are also adaptive and can fit into most situations with ease.)

- Jude is one of the first OCs I created so she holds a special place in my heart <333 (she's also very me!!)

- Jude was born and raised in Ireland. Both her parents are muggles. They own a small diner in their town & over the summer, Jude helps them around

- she's more of a quiet and observing type of person but she's not afraid to speak her mind. She's not shy by any means; she just prefers not to talk if she's not asked

- Jude and James get paired up for a group project in Potions (which, by the way, Jude absolutely despises but also... what's new??) and James, oh so desperately, wants to beat Snape who is also making the same potions (gasp!!! with Lily Evans!!!)

- the point I was also trying to make is that (just like in the film La la land), Jude and James go through four stages depending on the season. So, in autumn – when they return to Hogwarts – they're complete strangers. They attended the same classes for seven years and not once did they interact. By winter time, they grow closer. James totally forgets about his evergreen crush he had on Lily since their first year. In spring, they get together. By summer, Jude invites James (and also his whole friend group because she grows to actually like them) to Ireland. When they somewhat live a family life for the summer, Jude gets scared. Like shit scared because this could be her life??? She could spend her entire life with James Potter???? Is this what he's thinking???? So, Jude, scared of her own emotions, slowly distances herself from James. Not that she doesn't like him (like really really like him) but she's scared of what's to come. And, still, they're from two different worlds. By autumn time, they break up. All in a years time – somewhere in like October, maybe, James sees Jude in London. She's different now – shorter hair, different style, different crowd around her. That's not Jude Weston he once knew but she's happier now and that's all he ever cared for :,)

- Jude never intends to stay a part of the Wizarding world. She was born as a muggle(born) and will stay as one to. She always disliked the thought of being a witch because all her life she wanted to be "normal." She wants to study history too :,)
