SYNOPSIS.

Stevie Anderson loved Stevie Nicks because her dad loved Stevie Nicks. I mean, it would be kinda strange not to love the woman with the most breathtaking, magnificent and striking voice (according to her dad) and also the woman who inspired her name. Stevie would've spent her evenings on the Malibu beach with her dad as he surfed as she'd listen to her music.

She even listened to her when she had to move right back into Hawkins. Of course, she knew she'd have to go right back to her mom once summer was over (even when she kindly tried to explain to her that the waves for surfing were the best at the start of September), but all year long she yearned for summer to roll around again. Even her grandmother joked about how Claudia must have got a heart attack when she was told Stevie was spending the majority of the time on those dangerous waves. But that didn't matter because Stevie Anderson was freshly back to Hawkins!

The moment she stepped back inside the Hawkins school she was reminded of just how this place was not Malibu. Sure, the kids were just as rude and arrogant as she remembered them to be. Sure, she hung around the freaks more than she'd like. Sure, she spilled her drinks on Carol's freshly new pink dress which led Carol to drag her by the hair, which only made Stevie do some... unkind things to her, which brought her right back to the detention room she so dearly missed. And you couldn't ignore the fact that Steve Harrington had the same heart eyes for Stevie Anderson the way he had for the whole high school experience.

The summer of 1985 was supposed to be a good one. Stevie was supposed to leave for Malibu. She was supposed to surf. She was supposed to spend time with her dad. But – of course – things never go her way. But there were some good things – she got a job at the mall's movie theatre, she only had to half the price for ice cream (because the lovesick Steve allowed it), she got the chance to annoy Robin for the whole day, what was not to like? Oh, yeah! There were some top-secret Russian spies all around Hawkins! Fun summer, right?

- she's Dustin's half-sister and like the coolest sister ever. Not once does she call him her half-brother, it's always her brother. If she knew how to drive (which Steve definitely tries to help her with), she'd totally drive him around. She always helps him and his friends get a way in the movie theatre without paying and is like his #1 fan in everything

- so, remember when people who ended up being cursed by Vecna saw spiders and all? WELL. When I was writing thee fic, I planned on writing it to S4 so I made Stevie see spiders and all around (an early sign of Vecna). But obv if you plan only to write S3, you don't need to go with this plotline!!

- Stevie is a year younger than Steve, so she's in the 3rd year of HS in S3. Steve first noticed her in her first year of HS when she spilled her drink on Carol (and by now he thinks it's a tradition for her) and Carol got all pissy and Steve came to defend STEVIE (which made Carol so so pissed) and ever since then he considers himself as the leader of the "Stevie Anderson defenders club" because in his eyes she does no wrong. Just a bunch of Steve being like a totally lost lovesick puppy

- Stevie is like this really cool girl who spends her summers in Malibu with her dad. She listens to a LOT of Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell and artists like that. She's also extremely outgoing and easy, and someone who will ALWAYSSSS defend the ones she cares about

- I honestly have no idea where the plot for her should go so that's totally up to you!! I just see Stevie to have a really close relationship with everyone (especially with Steve and Robin)
