SYNOPSIS
Eden Auxerre never liked ghosts. She didn't just believe in them—she saw them. Shadows moving, whispers in the dark, figures watching her as she slept. The ghosts followed her everywhere, and Eden learned to keep quiet about it, knowing no one would believe her. After all, talking about it would get her locked up, so she lived with the constant presence of the dead, trying her best to ignore them.
That is, until Peter Parker noticed her. One day, while walking down the street, he saw Eden talking to what seemed like thin air. Concerned, he asked if she was okay, but Eden brushed him off. Peter didn't let it go, though, noticing her strange behavior over time—her conversations with invisible figures and her distant, otherworldly manner.
Then came the accident. Eden was killed, and just like that, she found herself trapped in the afterlife as a ghost. It wasn't what she expected. The world of the dead was chaotic, filled with restless spirits, and Eden was now one of them. But she wasn't ready to be just another lost soul. She wanted answers, and more than that, she wanted to know if she could still connect with the living world.
Peter, still not ready to let go of Eden, began searching for her. His persistence led to the impossible: he could see her. Not just as a memory, but as a real presence. Together, they tried to uncover what happened to Eden and how she could move on, or if there was a way to come back.
As Eden's powers grew, she realized being dead wasn't just about watching the living from afar. She could influence them, communicate, and maybe even return to life. But with every choice came consequences. The more she interacted with the living, the more she risked losing herself. Now, Eden must decide: stay in the world of the dead, helping others move on, or find a way back to the living—if she's even ready for that.
With Peter at her side, Eden faces the challenge of uncovering the truth about her death and deciding what she truly wants. And as they both learn, sometimes the living need to move on just as much as the dead.
NOTES
- Andrew Garfields!Peter Parker !!!
- Eden has the ability to talk to spirits. She's always been able to see and talk to them, but it's something she keeps to herself because she knows people wouldn't understand. Despite this, she's a kind and caring person. She even offers to talk to Peter's parents for him, showing how sweet she is.
- Eden's death occurs on the same night Gwen dies. Eden was with Harry and believed Peter caught Gwen when she fell. However, after Harry pushes Eden off a building, she manages to climb back up, only to see Gwen. Thinking it's really her best friend, Eden rushes to hug her. But Gwen screams not to touch her. By the time Eden hears her, it's too late, and she slips and falls to her death. Peter loses both his friends that night. Because Gwen-by the time Eden tried to reach her-was already dead and therefore Eden fell "through her" like through the ghost body (which Gwen tried to warn her)
- Eden wakes up in a field of flowers, confused and unsure of where she is. She's expecting to find Peter and wants to know what happened. When she sees a Spider-Man figure approaching, she thinks it's her Peter, but it's not (welcome Toms!Peter !!!)
- Electro sees Eden and is confused about how she's there (because she's supposed to be dead&gone). Eden is just as confused, not understanding why or how she ended up in this new place, especially since she's not supposed to be there.
- Eden finally meets Andrews!Peter, thinking it's her Peter. She's excited, hoping he can explain everything, but Peter soon realizes that Eden isn't from his reality. This realization is painful for both of them. They share a brief moment of joy, but it's overshadowed by the sadness of knowing they can't be together.
- Before disappearing, Eden admits to Peter that she loves him. She smiles at him one last time before vanishing, leaving Peter with the memory of her words. She's gone for good now :(
