Rough Sketch: Chapter 3 part 1
"You can't go that way, it's dangerous! Nell..."
"Nell!!!"

Mai's p.o.v.
"Neellll!!" I screamed as I woke from my dream.
"Mai calm down, it was just a dream." Ayako said soothingly, sitting on the side of my bed. A worried look plastered on the miko's face.
"Ayako" I croaked
"Are you okay? What happened?" She asked in a hurry. It was then that I noticed the tears streaming from my eyes.
"Mai?" She asked again worriedly after I didn't answer.
"Ah, Nell, s-she's -"
"What happened, we heard screaming!" Monk said as he stormed in, the rest of the gang following behind him.
"Are you alright, Mai?" John asked a bit sheepishly
"Guys...yeah I'm, I'm fine..." I answered, thinking back to what had happened in my dream
'Nell... where did you run off to?'
"Mai?" Came an all too familiar voice. Naru and Lin had entered the room
"Naru."
"What happened?" He asked narrowing his eyes seeing the tears on my face.
Just as I was about to tell them about Nell when the door opened once again revealing an out of breath Natsumi and...
'Nell...' I thought looking at the raven haired girl in the door way
"Is everyone okay? We heard yelling. Did something happen?" The girl in question asked in her usual calm tone
"How can you ask that so calmly! Of course their not okay! Why els would they all be here!" Natsumi said in a rush, nearly bent over dubbel trying to catch her breath.
Nell glanced back at her friend before continuing
"You looked, distressed, Mai. Are you okay?"
I stupidly stared at her open mouthed for awhile before coming back to my senses
"...uh,y-yeah, yeah, I'm fine, I just had a bad dream, that's all." I said planting as sweet a smile as I could muster on my face. Looking directly at Naru as I emphasized the last two words.
"Oh, well that's a relief. For a second I thought there was another attack." Natsumi said breaking into a smile.
Nell still looked slightly worried, as did most of the S.P.R crew.
"Are you sure your alright Mai?" Nell asked quietly reaching for my hand in a sister-ly manner, suddenly stopping when I slightly tensed up at the action.
The look on her face made me feel guilty for it.
'It's like she knows what I saw... it can't be, it was just a dream right??'
"So you know now, huh." She whispered so quietly I almost didn't hear it, I even thought I had miss heard her at the time. But she smiled again
"Well, don't worry about it too much for now. We should all go back to bed and try to get some more rest. Before something really bad happens."
She said suddenly, getting up and ushering everyone out of the room. I gasped at her change of attitude and she looked back at me. A small smile on her face, yet I wasn't sure if it was out of kindness to calm me down or something els since most of her face was shrouded in darkness
"Try to get some sleep Mai. I think tomorrow's going to be a busy day for you." Nell said before turning to the door and leaving herself.

Mai's p.o.v.
It was the following morning and I was about to find out just how right Nell's assumption was.
"Are you sure it was just a dream?" Naru asked for the 100th time that day.
"Yes, it had nothing to do with the case." He still didn't look convinced. I had been telling everyone that it had just been a bad dream
'And who's to say it wasn't, Nell is still here, she's completely fine. That dream was just that, a simple dream... but it felt so real. I don't understand...'
" I have to, find someway to, stop you..."
The words rang clearly through my head, what did they mean...
"So how about we all head down to breakfast?" Monk asked snapping me from my thoughts.
"As always you're ruled by your stomach." Ayako said crossing her arms.
We were on our way to the dining hall. Monk and myself walking near the rear of the group.
"Mai?" Monk asked lowly
"Yeah"
He looked down at me with an unreadable expression
"The dream you had this morning, was it just that?"
"Huh, wh-what do you mean. Of course it was just a dream." I said
"Mai, Ayako told me that you were mumbling and crying in your sleep. That you woke up screaming her name. That you wanted to tell her something about Nell right before we arrived, before-"
"Alright, alright you've made your point." I whisper-yelled, looking forward to make sure one had heard him
"Look, it was nothing okay, can we just leave it alone"
"But Mai"
"I know my dreams usually tie into the case, but, this time I don't understand it at all. I don't think it was anything like that, I'm not sure what it meant." I said looking down telling him how I had felt the entire morning, non of it made sense to me.
"If you'd tell us what happened-"
"Monk, can we please just leave it alone for now." I cut him off not wanting to dwell on the subject and what it could possibly mean.
Poor Nell...
We had just taken our seats when the doors burst open to reveal a short and bolding man entering. In his right hand he held one of the camera's we had set up around the old shrine, and he seemed anything but pleased.
The room went quiet as he made his way to the S.P.R. gangs table. Practically slamming the camera on the table.
Don't wanna do that
I thought remembering what had happened to me when I damaged one of Naru's special camera's. Surprisingly the narcissist kept a calm expression looking up at the man.
3person p.o.v.
"Can we help you?" Naru asked in an even tone. As if it was a completely normal action.
"Are you the group that's set up here calling yourself s.p.r!" He asked in a menacing tone a vain pulsing on his temple.
"And if we are?" Naru said, still unaffected at the mans obvious rage.
"W-wha, why you-"
"Mr. Tatsuya?" Cut a new voice in the still quiet dining hall. I looked up to see the tall figure of a slightly intimidating Nell.
"Is something the matter?" She asked in her deadpan tone. Mr. Tatsuya stumbled taking a few steps back from the girl, it also seemed like he had paled slightly
"N-N-Nell...but, i-it can't be..." he stuttered barely above a whisper eyes wide with shock and recognition, as she to slow steps toward him. Not once breaking eye contact.
"Sir I took the liberty to employ their services. I figured you had enough to worry about as is and did not want to add to your burden." Nell stated calmly stopping in front of the short man.
"I-I...s-so I see..." he trailed, his anger from before seeming to have faded away into tiredness.
"Nell... see to it that they don't disturb the other guests." He mumbled in a daze stumbling past Nell nearly bumping her shoulder as he made his way to the hall.
Nell stood still unfazed in the middle of the room her raven bangs covering her face in shadows before looking up at the confused and intrigued members of S.P.R
"Okay people, shows over, so how about returning to your chilled meals now?" She directed to the other occupants of the room. She returned her gaze to the brunette who had been watching her with an amazed and confused expression.
"That means you too." Nell said in a softer tone smiling.
Naru's p.o.v
I sat there speculating the seen that had just took place at our table.
Something was definitely off.
I thought pondering the mans sudden change of attitude when the girl appeared. His reaction to her words.
It almost seemed like a trance of sorts...
Looking up at the girl in question a thought crossed my mind. After everything that has already taken place and the little we've learned on this case. I looked over at my charge knowing instantly he had the same suspicions.
We need to investigate this case from a different angle...
I thought returning my attention to the rest of the table.
