Ezra gathered the girls into the house and introduced them to Zander Jensen. He went to Clear Water High School with Ezra, Damon, and Landon. Zander had typical quarterback written all over him. Savana laughed at the whole cliché of a party they were at.

Cully saw Chase and Reese walk up from behind Zander. She noticed how much they had changed since the last time she and Faye saw them. Puberty hit them hard. She thought they were cute before. Now they were hot.

Chase lost his baby face. His light brown hair was buzzed, and he had an impressive jawline. Reese looked like he had grown two feet and gained a lot of muscle. He was built much larger than Chase. Reese had curly red hair and a beard that was already growing.

Savana noticed the guys walking towards them too. Both of them were wearing football jerseys. The Sumner Storms. She thought it was a lame name compared to Unity's mascot, the Red Hawks. She thought they looked pretty cute as she looked away quickly. She didn't want to give the impression that she was interested. She didn't want to be just another girl who was attracted to football players.

"Hey Cully," Chase smiled at her. "Can I talk to you for a second?"

Cully was stunned. She didn't know why he would want to talk to her. But she nodded her head and followed him outside onto the back balcony. It was quieter out there. Chase asked her to sit with him, and then he started talking. His voice was gentle, and his words were full of understanding. She was surprised at how comfortable she felt with him.

"Who the hell is that?" Savana asked.

Zander laughed. "That's my little brother Chase."

Savana looked at Faye and mouthed out, "Damn."

Reese then walked up to Faye. "You're Faye right? You were with Cully at Oscar's Fields before?" He smiled.

"Yes," Faye said flatly. She remembered how they were treated there. "What do you guys want?"

Savana was surprised by Faye's change of attitude. But then she remembered how Chase and Reese were also part of why Cully and Faye stopped coming to Oscar's Fields.

"We want to apologize for what happened before. We just heard what Ivy and Quintin did. We're sorry for being jerks to you. It was nice hanging out with you guys." Reese explained.

"Oh, how did you find out about that?" Faye looked around and still didn't see Ivy there.

"Zander heard it from Ezra. Ivy and her friends won't be invited to his parties here anymore." Reese said.

Savana laughed. "That's what those bitches get."

Faye looked at Ezra. She couldn't believe he had done that for them. "Ezra, how did you know?"

"Oh, I told him after he invited us to this party," Savana said. "Everyone should know how sick she is."

Chase and Cully returned to the group. She had a wide grin on her now-red face. She noticed Savana looking at her. "Oh, Chase, Reese, this is Savana. She's the friend we told you about before."

Chase smiled at Savana. "I heard a lot about you." His gaze fell on Cully. She blushed again.

Reese put out his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you." Reese smiled.

Savana took his hand and had to look up high to see his face. Reese was the tallest guy at the party, even taller than Damon. Most guys she knew were either the same height or shorter than her. One of the reasons Savana wasn't attracted to most guys at school. She preferred taller guys. Haden was the exception, with him being the same height as her. She wondered if he would be at this party before scanning the room. She sighed after not seeing Haden there and let go of Reese's hand.

"Alright, now we got things cleared up, let's go have some fun!" Chase announced.

Soon after, the group split up. Ezra, Damon, and Zander mingled with their old classmates and drank. Soon, they were all playing a game of beer pong. Everyone was cheering and having a good time.

Chase and Reese took the girls around the yard and then to the basement. There was a foosball and air hockey table. Savana showed off her competitive side again. She and Reese played a dozen games against each other. The other three sat on a couch, talked, and watched them play. They were neck and neck the whole time, but in the end, Savana emerged victorious. Reese, who had been so confident, was surprised at the outcome. The others cheered and clapped.

An hour later, they finally stopped after Savana won again. It was her turn to get drinks for everyone. Reese offered to go with her to carry the drinks. They ran upstairs to the kitchen. Suddenly she was shoved into the counter.

"What the fuck?" Savana turned around to hit the person who pushed her and was horrified by who she saw.
