Chapter 4
Hey, gurls!
So, I know some of y'all are worried about our friend Avi.
But our other invisible friend must have his part first.
Hope y'all like it!
*Kevin POV*
I looked down at Avi, who was still unconscious.
He was still breathing, which was a good sign. It meant that his body was still trying to adjust to his legs mending.
Then I noticed how late it was getting, and I decided to try and help him get home.
I managed to get him into a sitting position, but I could tell that he wasn't waking up anytime eventually.
That left me with only one option.
I managed to lift him up, using my telepathic powers to help support him.

When we got to his house (yes, I used my powers to figure out where he lived), I managed to get him upstairs and into his room.
After I'd set him down on his bed, I took the opportunity to look around.
His room was surprisingly clean, and he seemed to have a thing for dragons.
I mean, there were dragon posters all over his wall, little dragon figurines on his dresser, a couple of dragon-related books on his desk.
Heck, even the light on his desk had a dragon on it.
Before I could form a coherent thought about his dragon obsession, I heard a groan coming from his bed.
Quickly, reflexively, my powers kicked in, and I was invisible.
I turned to see Avi sitting up in his bed, and I nearly gasped.
His eyes were greener than I'd ever seen before.
I mean, I knew that his eyes were some shade of green; I'd caught glimpses of them from across the room.
But here, when I was literally inches from him...
It was like I'd been looking at him through a veil.
I silently began to inch towards the door, hoping that he wouldn't notice me.
Unfortunately, my prayers went unanswered.
His head immediately turned in my direction, and I let out a soft gasp.
"Who's there?" Avi called.
Internally, I cursed myself for not being quiet enough, but I managed to keep my mouth shut.
"Who are you?" he asked, "Where are you?"
Every part of me begged to be able to answer him, but I kept quiet.
Maybe he won't notice if I stay quiet long enough...
Then he spoke again, and I was surprised at how gentle his tone was this time.
"You don't have to be afraid," he said, "I won't hurt you. I mean, how could I? You helped me. Just... please. Come back."
I was so shocked by his words, I almost revealed myself to him, but I managed to hold myself back.
Instead, I silently walked over to the bed, sitting down in the chair beside the bed.
He turned in my direction again, almost as if he knew I had moved.
"Look," he said, his tone still gentle, "you don't have to talk to me if you don't want to, but can I at least see you? Just one time? Please?"
I was startled at the 'please', and I wondered if maybe I should become visible to him.
Should I... or shouldn't I?
A/N: Yeah... so, Kevin's a little shy.
Don't worry, everything will work out okay.
Luv you all! *blows kisses*
