Bobby Mackey's (Part 1.1)
Friday 14 March 2008
In spite of the production chain's suspicions about the safety of the young Taylor, she had finally been accepted to participate, although some conditions had been put to her father. Zak agreed that the heart a little heavy at the thought of having to realize them for a while. These conditions were numerous and did not expose the child to the dangers caused by the paranormal.
These conditions were in numbers of six; Six long conditions:
The first condition only wanted Taylor to appear only 25% of the show.
The second required that the child be used only as a Joker if and only if these gifts could help the team of investigators.
Then the third one wanted that in case of imminent danger and even if the Joker was to be used, Taylor could not come.
The fourth condition, forbade the Ghost Adventures team to leave Taylor alone once in a haunted place.
The fifth asked that Taylor not participate in case of fatigue, because the sleep of a child was very important for the psychic and physical functioning of the child.
And the last condition was the most serious; In no case should Taylor appear suddenly on the show, she should always be accompanied by the guardian of the place or the person who has locked up the team in a haunted place.
With these conditions accepted, the Ghost Adventures team was able to quickly move on to their very first serious investigation, Bobby Mackey's, one of the bars known as haunted and possessed by many demons.
The journey was however long, overlooked by many traffic jams, which did not prevent the young child from being enthusiastic for the night she was going to live. To tell the truth, she had become accustomed to her gift, a gift yet very hard to accept by young people. Never had she done night-time terror like children of her own age, or saying that she saw some people who did not exist, it had allowed her father to believe with certainty the gift of his daughter.
As he continued to roll the vehicle, he saw his daughter stand up in her car seat, looking carefully at the outside of the vehicle. He did not see what she could see, but his gaze spoke enormously, a look of compassion ...
_Taylor, is not it okay?
_If Daddy ... There's just a gentleman running blood outside Daddy, we need to help him ...
Zak's colleagues and the latter looked out the window, but saw nothing, realizing that she had seen the spirit of a deceased person and that she had not been able to tell the difference, as often. But they suspected that with time it would come.
After a moment the child noticed that the adults were still trying to see the description she had made.
_It was still a ghost ... right? The child asked sadly.
_Yes my chip, but do not worry, you'll make the difference later ... Nick answered, stroking her hair.
_But because of me, we never know if it's a real or a ghost.
The child bowed her head, before resuming her original enthusiasm, she was eager to see, and thus see that she could help her father and her godparents.
On the adult side, it was something else, was Taylor going to be able to participate in the investigation? Would this first episode be safe? It was an unanswerable question before the time came.
Outside the vehicle, the sun shone intensely, the sky was a wonderful blue, with no clouds within reach. Which made the landscape even more resplendent than it usually was, and it would be the rest of the journey. A journey, which was lessened, more than four hours later, having not removed anything in haste from the child, which never ceased to grow. After a few more minutes, Zak was able to park in front of the entrance to Bobby Mackey's, allowing himself to watch the poster over the wall behind the door frame. A sign with the message: "Warning, this establishment would be haunted. The management declines all responsibility in case of misdeeds perpetrated by ghosts or spirits ". A smile appeared on the main investigator's face.
A smile showing his satisfaction, the pride of being in such a large place, could only make him smile.
This smile spread to his colleagues. Nick and Aaron were also happy to be in this place. A place full of history that described Zak off camera for the narration of his program.
_That! I like it ! Our survey looks promising!
Zak smiled as he looked at the sign again before advancing into the Bobby Mackey's World Music while holding his daughter's hand as she stepped into the atmosphere of the place. She shook her hand.
His gaze ran everywhere and saw two men other than those to whom the team was standing looking at her and smiling sadistically.
A sadism she had never seen, she then looked at the people who spoke to her father, they did not seem to see them, looking back at the men she had seen. She noticed that they had disappeared.
But where were they? How had they gone?
She realized a second time that she had seen spirits again. So she really had to succeed in differentiating the living from the dead.
Remaining at this moment near her father, she had to separate to be near Aaron not to disturb his father during his interviews. Interviews began with Douglas Hensley, author of a famous book called Hell's Gate. The latter was sincere in his words and in his narrative, which greatly interested Zak and his friends, although Taylor seems to understand, despite the complex text of the author.
_ In 1896, Pearl Bryan, a young woman, was decapitated four kilometers from here. These two assassins were Alonzo Walling and Scott Jackson. After discovering the body of the victim, the police and their dogs have been tracking down the killers so far. They searched the entire area to find the head, unsuccessfully. It is said that the murderers would have thrown him into the river, but I am convinced that they have offered it to the devil in a bloody sacrifice ...
The devil was in fact the Devil and the team of investigators understood this, and the description of the sacrifice was difficult to make to a young girl, that Aaron did his best to clog the ears of the young child . Yes, she was really too young to listen to that kind of thing.
According to Hensley, the sacrifice would have taken place near the last vestige of the old slaughterhouse, which would today be an abandoned well used for the evacuation of blood from animals slaughtered for food. This then would be called, the mouth of hell.
And yet Douglas Hensey allowed himself to add words to his interview, terrifying new words to pass him from Bobby Mackey's.
_I'm convinced that the spirits of Alonzo Walling and Scott Jackson are wandering here, just before dying, when he already had a rope around his neck, Alonzo Walling affirmed that he would come to haunt these places forever ... Many witnesses Have identified the ghost of his two men.
After this little speech, Zak was able to learn a little more, while taking a break from the cameras to take his daughter in his arms. He was really trying to move forward, especially as time passed before their eyes, before actually starting the investigations.
Zak learned that in the many witnesses was Jeannette Mackey, the wife of Bobby Mackey. This information made him like a gong. He had to meet her and tell her what she had lived through, but soon that joy disappeared. This woman did not want to meet them. He turned to his guest, he wanted to know why she did not want to. This really intrigued her.
At the same time, Taylor was looking around, finally seeing the two men she had seen before, and they were chatting together, laughing at the situation, using the little energy in the neighborhood, to avoid To be spotted by the cameras, so as to doubt the creators of the show, but also potential future fans of the show.
The little girl continued to let her gaze into the room, saying nothing to anyone, being afraid of being mistaken between a living being, or even a ghost. Yet she continued to do what she did before seeing them disappear before her. Acting as if it did not exist. She later allowed herself to bend her father's cheek and return to Aaron's lap a few seconds later.
Zak's gaze turned to Douglas and he could not help but ask his question.
_Why does Mrs. Mackey not want to see us? Is there a link with the paranormal?
_Jeannette Mackey did not believe in ghosts. She did not believe it and she came in contact with them ...
_ She was upstairs in an old apartment above the bar and she heard a voice say "OUTSIDE". Rajoy Bobby, while advancing and filming by Nick. Something stole her from her and pushed her down the stairs. Since then, she refuses to come here alone ...
_ Still ? Questioned Zak, intrigued by this very impressive story.
She has not been back for years. She refuses...
Zak looked at Bobby, understanding the reaction of Bobby's wife. He could not afford to look back at his friends, no longer catching the gaze of his offspring, probably attracted by something non-existent. It always seemed unpredictable and, above all, uncontrolled. Unfortunately, a child, especially of this age, can not master a gift from elsewhere.
The latter finally looked outward, in which the weather was calm, sunny, and gave him the adorable desire to go out to have fun and thus leave the world of the paranormal to have a few moments of normal life, his life d Child, snatch early, too quickly for her. And yet, she knew she could not, the adults were so busy caring about the investigation that the child hardly mattered.
Slowly she could not help seeing the author return with a briefcase, containing documents, newspaper articles, or drawings. She rested properly on Aaron's lap and was attracted by the drawings of the men on the table.
_I retrieved the portrait of the assassins in old newspapers and showed them to Jeannette Mackey, and she immediately recognized Alonzo Walling. It is the entity, the spirit that has projected it on the stairs.
So that was why she did not want to enter the bar anymore, she had recognized the spirit that had shaken her up the stairs. A man who has been dead for over a century and now haunts the place. Zak was very admirable. He loved this part of the story, even if the living were the victims. He stepped forward and still looked at the places, finding them more and more fascinating and hoping to be able to confront them and thus get in touch with them, but at the same time wanted to know the paranormal experiences of other victims of these ghosts. He walked over to a corner of the bar, sitting down beside a man as a witness, but also as a former keeper of Bobby Mackey's. He presented himself as Carl Lawason, and in his opinion his story deserved to be heard by all.
Carl was a man of about sixty years of age, possessing long hair pepper and salt reaching him at the height of his shoulders. In addition, he had enormous round glasses, the frame of which was thin. And yet the presence of the child disturbed him a little, he looked at little Taylor before turning to Zak.
_Excuse me, Zak, would it be possible for this little girl to come out, she's far too young to hear what I have to say?
_ Are you sure ?
_ Yes I am absolutely sure! I want her to leave please.
Zak could not help but watch his daughter, worried, he did not like to know she had to leave the room and therefore leave his presence. He gently took her in his arms and went gently with her outside, followed by the manager of the bar, a woman of forty years who had willingly accepted to take care of the young child during the whole discussion with Carl.
The girl squeezed her daddy, tears moistening her eyes, she could not accept that someone would take care of her, when she did not even know her while her father would be only a few meters away.
_ Remains dad !!! You promised I could stay close to you !!!
_I know Taylor, but he does not want to, but do not worry about it, I'll be back afterwards!
_ Promise?
_ Yes promised my beautiful. I love you Taylor ...
_ I also daddy, at times then !!!
The little kissed her father's cheek before leaving her arms and went to the woman without saying a word more. Leaving him finally to leave work, she would do it to this life. She would do it sooner or later.
Taylor finally began to appreciate the manager, accepting the game she offered him, although she saw them, those she had seen in drawing, those who hurt the living for pure pleasure in hurting. They were intelligent, even if their physical states were simply spectral.
Yet inside things resumed their normal course, Zak had finally set himself near Carl, and tried to concentrate 100% on the interview of this man. He needed his information and even if his daughter was not there, he had to do it, he looked at him and waited for whatever he could and wanted to hear, to know why. He looked at him and Carl began his narrative, a narrative as long as those of the other witnesses, and all putting a reality to the demons that lived in the den of Bobby Mackey's.
_We were told that there were evil spirits here.
_Oh yes ... even more than one, they are numerous ... Very numerous ...
He paused, as if to remind himself of what had happened to him, it seemed to have marked him. He was still traumatized. He was so in the search for his memories that Bobby got up and went back to his table and asking Zak to come near, he could tell it, he certainly knew the story.
He let the investigator relocate before starting.
_Carl lived upstairs. He did not want to move, but he would shut himself up in his room with a rifle. I do not know how he lived under such conditions. Every morning around six o'clock he heard a terrible noise. As if an army was marching.
Zak listened, while staying close to Bobby, turned to Carl, wanting to help him find the memory quickly, and close to listen to him completely. This increased his fascination.
An irreproachable fascination and admired the courage of these witnesses to quote the facts, to remember them, as if that had just happened right now. He wanted so much that the American population, or whatever, could see what he was seeing at the moment.
See what others could only live once in their lives: the paranormal and its connections. Zak's eyes went in the direction of Nick and Aaron, the latter two were just as passionate as he, but one of them always seemed to keep a glance outward, wanting to know how the little one was going. Yes, they were worried, but hardly showed it.
It was normal when you are a godfather of a child who is described as extraordinary and who is the daughter of our best friend, but also your "boss". Nick and Aaron finally let Zak return to the main occupation of the moment; The latter sits down, and scrutinizes Carl for a long time, he really wanted him to tell his story alone, of himself and he was willing to do everything to have what made him want to have. He looked at Carl for a long time and said calmly.
_These malevolent spirits have attacked you?
_Yes ... he replied simply, looking away.
_He was possessed by a demonic entity, said Douglas. The Reverend Glenco spent six hours exorcising him.
_You were there? Asked Zak, a spark of admiration in his eyes, it really impressed him to hear that an exorcisation had taken place in those places.
_Yes, I saw it all!
_I laughed when they talked to me about exorcism! The good Hahahahahaha joke, said Carl quickly, a smile on his lips. Apparently, right here, I would have found both hands tied to the pastor's neck. And I have no memory of it.
Zak nodded his head, scrutinizing the man's gaze tremendously, to find reality, and he wanted to know if it was really true. He smiled when he saw that nothing in his eyes betrayed the honesty of the man in front of him. He thought a few seconds before asking his new question. He needed to know, his thirst for knowledge about paranormal phenomena did not stop growing over time.
Nick and Aaron let Zak do it, and followed him in his combinations no matter what. He let Carl speak although Zak asked a new question.
_ Do you think that the spirit that took possession of you are still here?
_I feel their presence!
_ Right away ?
_Aaah, but by the grace of God, they leave me alone now ...
Now ? But where were they then? Zak looked at Nick and Aaron before hearing the cry of little Taylor from outside. Zak could not help asking to stop the cameras and run out, after all it was his daughter who was crying. The latter held her ears, weeping enormously, and stirred, lying on the ground. Zak went to take her in his arms, murmuring sweet words.
The tears of little Taylor were many crashing all on Zak's t-shirt. He kept her tenderly. He loved his daughter so much that he did not want to see her in such a state. He wanted to know what had happened during his absence, he looked at the woman, she did not even know how to explain it. She knew what the little girl had fallen on her own, but she was agitated as she had been surprised and surprised.
_I do not know that it's gone ... she started to cry and yell, when there was nothing.
_ My sweetheart ? What happened Taylor?
_ They ... They pushed me and said they were going ...
_What would they do, Taylor? And that ?
_ Hurt ... The ghosts!
