Epilogue

Kirke weaved through trees, chasing after the stag that the others were chasing. "C'mon boy," Bellona urged him before pulling on him to stop. Below them, the Pevensies' horses were turning around.

Kirke carefully flapped his wings, landing on the ground. Only Philip, Edmund's horse, and Peter's horse showed no interest in the dragon.

"What's going on?"

"Edmund just thought he was a "can-do-it-myself" kind of person." Lucy laughed. Bellona only shook her head, accepting Peter's hand as he helped her off of Kirke's back. Both of them were a bit more focused on her large stomach.

"Spare Oom," Lucy said before taking off running.

"Lucy!" Peter called out.

"Not again," Susan muttered, all four of them taking off of the younger female. Peter had grabbed Bellona's hand before leading them after the youngest. Bellona couldn't help but follow along. There was something about coats instead of branches, followed by bickering.

Bellona fell out behind siblings, staring down at the wooden floor. She then looked at her hands, before looking at her whole body, trying to get a look and feel of what had just happened. Her eyes widened at her slim stomach. Only moments ago, it was huge. She looked back to Peter, hoping for an answer of some sort.

By the looks of the Penvensies' faces, she was as young as she was when she first met them. Her head jerked forward, seeing an older man walk through the door. There was something about him that just seemed familiar, but she couldn't place it.

Bellona stayed in the room as the siblings walked out, sharing a glance with Peter before looking back to the place she came out of.

"I don't think that will work for you either Bellona,"

Bellona froze up upon hearing her full name. She looked over her shoulder, at the man. "Do I know you?"

The man shook his head. "I only know that you were to come. A child of Aslan." Bellona fully turned around to face him. "Digory Kirke," he introduced himself, holding a hand out for her.

Bell stared at the hand before looking at him. "My dragon is named Kirke." The older man smiled at her, the smile dropping as she looked back to the wardrobe. "My home...will I be able to go back?" She looked back to the older man. Bellona looked worried, scared even, as she stood in the room.

"I've tried before," and surely Bellona would remember meeting a man named Kirke. He must never have been able to get back.

Bellona didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to Kirke. She didn't have the chance to give Aslan one more hug or rest her head against his.

"My home," she muttered quietly with one more glance back to the wardrobe.
