Trapped
The Acnologias awoke slowly; but as soon as the second had come to his senses he let out a roar that startled the other two. They were it a pit drilled into the ground, a large metal grate over them.
"THE HELL DUDE!" the first moaned holding his ears, he rolled over on the rock his clothes picking up yellow dust from the stones.
"Show yourselves cowards!" The second challenged.
"Well, now they know we're awake," the third sighed.
"I'm going to kill those Sons a Bi-" the second yelled moving to transform.
"DON'T TRANSFORM YOU'LL CRUSH US!" the first shrieked throwing his hands up.
"I'll try to blast the lid off," the third growled taking a stance and roaring up at the lid. When the smoke cleared it was evident that magic had no effect on the lid.
"Well this sucks," the first concluded slowly standing up.
"Lets dig out of here then!" the second snarled looking to the wall.
"ARE YOU MAD!" the first cried.
"I'm blowing a hole in the wall, that should make a tunnel," the first growled.
"WAIT!" the first screeched.
"You're friend is right," a colder voice stated, someone walked over and put their foot on the grate. "You try digging out of here you'll cause a cave in and all be buried alive. We dug this prison twenty feet into nothing but slate, gravel, and loose dirt, the walls are covered with a delicate substance that barely keeps them from falling apart."
The Acnologia's could see the person's face but they recognized the scent.
"Erik?" the third asked putting a hand over his eyes and peering towards the figure standing in the sunlight.
"ERIK!" the first laughed, "QUICK GET US OUT OF HERE!"
"You're an idiot." the second snarled.
"He doesn't know us," the third sighed.
"Oh damn you're right," the first realized his face blank.
Erik chortled and left them alone once more.
"What is going on?" the third asked looking at the second.
"How should I know?" the first asked.
"He wasn't talking to you nit-wit!" the second snapped, "You don't know anything!"
"Well how would I know? God we really need to assign names so I can stop getting confused," the first sighed.
"Seriously, whose side is Erik's on?" the third asked.
"My guess, he's with the rebellion. They have three dragon slayers on their side. I would guess its Laxus, Erik, and Serena," the second explained
"What happened to the other five?" the first asked.
The second began to answer but was cut off by another voice.
"Bunch of nut-jobs," Erik's voice explained.
"We can't be too careful," the other answered. Serena emerged and glared down at the pit.
The three Acnologia's looked up at him a strange feeling of happiness descending on them.
"Look, we're on your side, could you release us?" the third asked.
"See told you," Erik scoffed.
"COME ON ERIK!" the first cried.
"They can identify you," Serena asked looking to Erik.
"Suppose so," Erik shrugged.
"Serena," the second growled glaring up, "Trust me when we say that we aren't on Tyregenium's side."
"I can't trust a word you say mighty dragon prince," Serena sneered.
"Oh, well he knows you," The first Acnologia sighed.
"Trust us, it's a long story, but we are on your side," the third reassured them.
"What do we do?" Erik asked.
"Well part of me says to have Laxus incinerate the bastard where he stands, and part of me says that he can tell us things that might be important to our cause," Serena sighed weighing the pros an cons.
"We can't trust a thing he says. That's Acnologia down there," Erik argued pointing below them.
"Acnologias... plural if you please," the first corrected.
The two peered down scoffed and returned to their conversation.
"Well that was rude," the first sighed.
"I'm going to blast this lid into hell," the second Acnologia hissed.
"I'll aide you," the third offered.
"If we all do it, it's sure to blast off," the first nodded.
They all three roared at the lid startling Erik and Serena who jumped away quickly. The smoke cleared and the three Acnologia's looked up at the slightly warped lid.
"That's all we did!?" the second growled.
"Let's go again!" the first cried happily.
"A few more blasts should do it," the third agreed.
"The hell was that?" Erik asked Serena.
"His roar?" Serena questioned.
"Serena, I've felt that bastard's roar first hand, that wasn't it," Erik scoffed.
"Well what else could it b-" Serena began.
"SIRS!" a ragged human cried running up, he stopped in front of them and panted, "The Captain Laxus sir, he sent me to tell you..."
"Serena we gotta move," Erik growled hearing the mans thoughts and moving to run.
"What's going on?" Serena asked.
"He's coming sir," the man shook.
Serena swore in draconian and ran after Erik leaving the Acnologia's behind them.
"Okay, on three," the first explained, "One. Two. Th-"
An earsplitting roar shook the walls of the pit and they all looked to each other horrified.
"We gotta get out of here."
"NO! YOU DON'T SAY! I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A LOVELY TIME TO DISCUSS THE TYPE OF FLOWERS I WANT ON MY FREAKIN GRAVE!!!!" the first cried almost to the point of hysteria.
"Stop wasting time, AGAIN!" the third growled
"Apocalypse dragon..."
"Black dragon..."
"PLASMA DRAGON..."
"ROAR!"
