Cops and Dragons

Now, in most circumstances, an all powerful being would most likely flee as quickly as possible and stay hidden from the light of day until they could escape.

Unfortunately, this new world had entire treasure troves of information, known as libraries. And so, once discovered, the third Acnologia dragged the other two into this treasure of a building and began to research as much as he could of this new world which was full of machines and no magic.

"This is so boring," the first moaned leaning back in the library chair and throwing his feet on the table covered in books.

"Isn't there somewhere we can lay low," the second grumbled as he lay his head on the table and watched the third madly read through some site on the computer.

"No," the third answered briefly, "It's actually pretty incredible, they can see the entire world with these devices that they've launched into space so if we were to transform they'd be able to - " the third began

"Hunt us down, bad stuff, you'll explain it with big science words and I'll stop listening... ANYWAY, where do we get food?" the first asked.

The other two looked at him clearly annoyed.

"We're stranded in this metal hell and the first thing on your mind is food!?" the second growled.

"I have my priorities in line unlike you two," the first defended.

"Oh really?" The third asked turning around to look at the first with a glare.

"Yeah. All you want to do is research and all he wants to do is kill something," the first explained.

"False," the second growled.

"Alright, let's say we started listening  to you ... which we won't by the way," he let out a long sigh and massaged his head, "What would you suggest we do?"

"Get something to eat and find a cave in one of those metal buildings to stay in until we can leave," the first stated rather proudly.

"That would actually be great... but this place believes in currency and capitalism which means we need money. Money we don't possess," the third explained.

"Then why don't we take a job and get money?" the first asked.

"Because here you can't just get a job. You have to apply and many don't pay well. There's no need for mages because there's no monsters or crazy disasters caused by magic."

"So... we need to create a magic disaster..."

"Uh... no."

"But then they would need magic people to solve the problem!"

"Are you dumb or stupid?"

"Yes."

"Look, how about we listen to my idea," the second offered.

"All ears," the third sighed.

"You go get us one of those rooms... in a... in a... what did you call it?" the second asked clearly bothered that he couldn't remember.

"A hotel," the third reminded him.

"Yeah, you do that and I'll get us money," the second sighed standing up.

"What are you gonna do?" the first asked fearfully.

"I just told you, I'm going to get money... it's green paper right?" he asked looking to the third.

"Yep, remember you can't steal or kill," the third sighed.

"Yeah yeah... stupid rules," the second muttered walking out. As he left the library the first gawked at the third.

"You - you just let him go!

"Aren't you an observant one."

"DUDE HE'S GONNA WIPE OUT THE HUMAN POPULATION!"

"That's rather dramatic."

"NO IT'S NOT!"

"He'll be fine."

"It's not HIM I'm worried about, it's the thousands of innocents that he's going to scare out of their minds!"

The third began to chuckle, "He won't scare anyone."

"WHATAREYOUTALKINGABOUTHAVEYOUMETTHATBLUEBERRYRAINCLOUD-" the first yelled getting hysterical.

"He's the type that'll permanently maim someone," the third stated calmly.

Moment of stunned silence.

"ANDYOU'REOKAYWITHTHAT!DOESTHEFACTTHATWEJUSTUNWITTIGLYMAIMEDANDPOSSIBLYKILLEDSOMEONE!WHYDOYOUDOTHIS!?"

"Young men," a strict voice interrupted the first's rant. The two of them looked to the fierce librarian who looked ready to drag them out by the ear. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

She eyed them with such disdain that they got up without a word, and as they walked past her they noticed that she scoffed at their appearance.

"They're judgy here," the first said looking back at the librarian.

"Well... we are both barefoot, covered in dust, haven't brushed our hair in who knows when... oh, and I'm covered in neon blue tattoos..." the third sighed.

"Hmmm... you got a point there," the first nodded.

"What we should be concerned about is where - " The second sighed.

" - We can find the food," the first concurred as they walked out of the library.

"What? No."

"Yes!"

"We need to be concerned where the counterparts of  - " the second began.

"Ooooh look a cafe. They have cinammon rolls, let's go!"

"We don't have MONEY!"

"So what, let's just sit outside and smell them!" the first grinned.

"You're such a child."

They were sitting at the outside portion cafe under a green umbrella when the second stomped over and dropped a stuffed wallet on the table. The third stared at them in horror.

"What did you do!?" he demanded.

"Relax, the guy was a jerk," the second smiled.

"You can't just rob from strangers!" the third choked.

"HELLO!" the first shouted calling a waiter over.

"How may I help you?" the waiter asked.

"Can I get a cinnamon roll?" the first asked.

"Absolutely," the waiter nodded taking out a notepad and pen, "And anything for you gentlemen."

"Coffee," the second ordered.

The third only made a strangled sound.

"Alright, I'll go get them," the waiter smiled before walking away.

"So what... you're suddenly fine with using a stranger's stolen money to buy food?" the third demanded of the first.

".... Yes ...." the first admitted.

"Stop over reacting, he and his group of thugs were beating up another thug. I pulled them all off the poor guy and took their money and one guy's wallet. I let them keep their little plastic rectangle's," the second assured the third.

"You let them keep their credit cards?" the third asked.

"Whatever they were," the second shrugged.

"How much money did you get?" the first asked.

"I don't know," the second scoffed.

The third grabbed the wallet and began sifting through the cash. "Dear Mavis these guys were carrying hundred dollar bills... what were they doing  - you beat up a bunch of criminals," the third sighed.

"What, normal people don't carry around hundred dollar bills?" the second asked.

"No," the third hissed.

"There, then I beat up bad guys, be proud," the second smiled smugly.

"FOOD!" the first cheered seeing the waiter.

"We're only in this world for three days. What could happen?" the second huffed to the third.

Just as he said that the third spotted three men; three people he recognized. Natsu, Gajeel, and Jellal stepped out from a street and looked straight at him.  Natsu had a tattoos of black and red dragons around his exposed arms. Gajeel had similar tattoos with black dragons and Jellal had a small one on his neck.

They were gang tattoos, the third Acnologia realized.

The three men were certainly dressed differently, ripped baggy jeans, sleeveless shirts, piercings (more then usual in Gajeel's case), and jewelry.

As their eyes met the third Acnologia recognized three things.

One; they were shocked. This made it easy to assume that this world's version of Acnologia was dead and they thought he was back from the dead. That would make this scenario very interesting.

Two; they were terrified. Even Natsu looked like a part of him wanted to bolt which wasn't like Natsu at all. This made him realize that Acnologia was probably not a good person in this world. That would make this interesting scenario tense and problematic.

Three; they all had guns and they were reaching for them. Well, now this was a scenario that was interesting, tense, problematic, and violent.

"GET DOWN!" the third shouted as the three men drew their guns. He grabbed the first before the first could take a bite of his cinnamon roll and the second, being more observant, threw himself to the floor of the deck while spilling his coffee all over him. Luckily the restaurant had a three foot cement wall surrounding it's outside enclosure which was full of a flower bed and was a few inches thick so when the bullets did start firing none of them hit the Acnologia's.

Also, all of the customer's were inside on the hot day and the one waiter who had served the Acnologia's their food ran inside in a panicked state, which meant that there were no innocent casualties.

"WHAT IS GOING ON!" the first shrieked clenching his cinnamon roll.

"I found Natsu's and Gajeel's counterpart, Jellal's too," the third growled ducking lower as a bullet ricocheted off of the cement.

"I take it they don't like us," the second growled trying to wipe the coffee off of him, "*imput word* that coffee was hot."

"WHAT GAVE YOU THAT IDEA!?" the first demanded sarcastically.

"Because it's BURNING ME!" the second yelled.

"NO! I MEANT ABOUT THEM NOT LIKING US!" the first retorted.

"It's just me they want, I'm the only one that looks like the Acnologia they know," the third explained.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW!?"the first asked in a shriek.

"BECAUSE I'M THE ONE THEIR AIMING FOR!" the third retorted over the shots.

"When they run out of ammo we rush them," the second growled.

"WE CAN'T RUSH THEM IT'S NATSU AND GAJEEL!!" the first objected.

"We'll make a run for it," the third concurred, "But they're smart, listen."

The other two did so.

"What?" the first hissed ducking lower as a bullet whizzed by, "CAUSE ALL I HEAR ARE BULLETS THAT CAN KILL ME!"

"Only two are shooting, the third is reloading, that way someone can always shoot," the third hissed.

"And they're not walking forward," the second hissed.

"HOW DO YOU TWO KNOW THESE THINGS!!!?" the first yelled.

"I can't hear their footsteps" the second explained briefly.

Then there was a blessed sound; sirens.

"WHAT IS THAT!?" the first cried.

"Police," the third breathed in relief.

The shooting stopped and without a word all three Acnologia's slowly peered over and saw the the three were diving into a blue convertible driven by Bickslow who also had a dragon tattoo on his face. It drove away just as the police showed up, a few cars began to pursue it while other's parked.

Then to the Acnologia's surprise, Lucy, Erza, and Mira stepped out of the police cars all in uniform.

"This is cr-" the first began.

"We need to go," the second hissed.

"We make a brake for it in 3... 2.... " the third instructed.

"Now!" the second ordered.

Then all three jumped to their feet, vaulted themselves over the small wall and ran into an alley ignoring the shouts of the police.

Lucy, Erza, and Mira began to pursue them when a call came on the radio.

"WE'VE CORNERED THE SUSPECTS BETWEEN MAGNOLIA AND HARGEON! BUT WE NEED BACKUP! THERE'S MORE ON THE WAY!" Levy shouted through the radio.

"Leave them, we need to catch those three," Erza ordered.

"Crime Dragon is going down today," Mira nodded darkly.

Lucy glanced at the three escaping men and then looked to her two comrades, "Let's go," she nodded. Then she turned on the radio and spoke into her walkie talkie, "Ten-four we're on our way."
