Sophia sat in the passenger side of Letty's car as they drove down the streets. Brian wanted her to be safe knowing how dangerous things were gonna get. So, he had her go with Letty who promised him she'll keep Sophia safe.

"I don't know why we gotta keep driving around like this." Roman spoke over their radio."Why can't we just pull over somewhere, park, gather our thoughts in, like, a bunker somewhere?"

"Because it doesn't work like that." Tej replied, "We gotta stick close enough to the bad guys in order to get in range for Ramsey to hack 'em, but we gotta be mobile enough not to get shot like fish in a barrel. So do me a favor, focus on the mission, keep us from getting killed."

It was silent for a few moments before he spoke again. "Guys, they're here."

Letty and Sophia shared a look, the former speaking, "How many cars?"

"Uh, none and that's kind of the problem," Tej replied.

Sophia looked over her shoulder out the back windshield to see a helicopter following them and she groaned. "You've got to be shitting me."

"Okay, let's give them the tour," Brian spoke, "Break on my mark. Three, two, one. Go!"

They all split, going off in different directions. They hopped splitting up with confused them on who had Ramsey.

"They're in range." Tej informed, "Ramsey, start the hack."

Brian's panicked voice soon emitted from their radios,"Football's hot! I need to lateral! Rome, where are you?"

"Running back, charging in!" Roman told him.

"Meet me on third and spring." Brian said.

"You got it!"

As Roman approached the lights up ahead, Brian headed his way. He rolled down the window of the passenger side as he and Brian drove towards each other. In complete synchronisation, they each pulled their handbrakes, and turned opposite ways, creating smoke from their tires.

In this time, Ramsey grabbed her stuff and got out the window of Brian's car, Tej pulling her into the window of their car, just as Roman and Brian finished the turn, heading in opposite ways. Brian jumped out from his car seconds before it was hit by the drone, the car exploding.

"He made it!" Tej exclaimed with a smile. "I can't believe we pulled that off."

"Wait." Ramsey gained their attention, "What happened? We were almost there. They've cut the signal! I can't finish the hack!"

Roman glanced over at her. "What do you mean?'

"Brian, they took out the tower." Tej told him.

Ramsey groaned in frustration, "There has to be another way."

"Wait, I'm seeing half a dozen cell towers between sixth and state." Tej informed Brian, "Brian, if you can get to the top of any one of those buildings around there, we can reroute the signal manually and finish the job."

"I'm on it."

Police cars approached them and Roman drifted around the corner.

"Them boys is on us!" Roman exclaimed.

"Man, them boys ain't ready for this!" Tej chuckled.

Ramsey screamed as Roman drove onto the sidewalk, the car being thrown back onto the road as another car exploded, a light post flying down onto the ground just after Roman had driven underneath it.

"First the tank, then the plane. Now we got a spaceship?" Roman spoke.

"That's not a spaceship, that's a drone!" Tej yelled.

"Oh, it's a drone?" Roman questioned. "Now, you gonna break it down and articulate like you already know what the hell is going on?"

Tej rolled his eyes. "Man, shut your ass up and focus on driving the car."

Sophia and Letty looked up as Roman spoke. "Letty, Soph! The football's on fire! We need help!"

"Hang on!" Letty yelled. "We're coming!"

"Ramsey, get ready to go again!" Roman told her.

Just in time, the three opened the car doors and jumped out. They rolled along the ground for a moment, looking up in time to see the car explode.

"Let's go! I got you!" Sophia yelled as Ramsey jumped to her feet and got into the back of the car.

"Gotta get out of here. It's on your tail and it's coming fast." Roman informed them.

Letty nodded, "Got it.!"

Ramsey leaned her head in between the two seats. "So, if this car goes down, who's coming to save us?"

"Save us?" Letty repeated as she shared a look with Sophia. "Honey, we're it."

"Where are we headed, Tej?" Sophia asked as she looking around to see if there was any exit strategies.

"There's a service elevator past the maintenance sector. It'll take you directly up to the repeater. Brian, you gotta hurry!"

The three girls caught sight of the drone heading towards them. "It's coming back!" Ramsey exclaimed.

Sophia turned her head to Letty as she thought. "We'll lose them in the tunnel."

One of the missiles hit the back of Letty's car, Ramsey letting out a scream. Letty slammed on her brakes, causing the car to slam back on the ground and then into a wall.

Sophia held her seatbelt tightly with one hand as the other was placed on her stomach as the drone started shooting at them, glass spraying everywhere.

"I can't shake this thing!" Letty screamed.

As they finally got out of the tunnel, the drone went to fire at them again only to have an ambulance crash into it as it fell off the bridge. Letty stomped on her brakes, the car halting to a stop as they watched out the back window. All three girls panted, Sophia moving her hair out of her face.

She shared a smile with Letty, letting out a chuckle. "No way."

Hobbs made his way out of the ambulance, walking over to the fallen drone. He placed a foot on top of it, getting out his gun and shooting at the head of it.

"Hey, did you bring the cavalry?" Letty shouted to him.

"Woman, I am the cavalry." Hobbs replied.

Sophia laughed, "Of course you are."

Ramsey looked at them confused, "Who is that?"

Letty glanced back at her. "That's Hobbs."

"Ramsey, go!" Brian ordered.

Ramsey sat up straighter, typing on her tablet, "Brian did it. We're back in! We've got God's Eye back."

A car suddenly rammed into the back of Letty's as she started driving them back.

"Duck!" Letty screamed, moving her hand to the back of Sophia's head as she shoved her down as they started to get shot at.

Sophia reached over for the radio, pulling it to her lips, "We need some help over here! We're getting nailed."

She yelled, gaining Dom's attention as he heard his little sister cry out, "We need some backup!"

Once the bullets had stopped, the girls got out of the wrecked car. Sophia gasped as she watched Dom's car sail into the air, just hitting the chopper before crashing into the concrete below him.

"Dominic!" She screamed as she ran over to his car, Brian and Hobbs in front while the the others ran behind them.

Brian helped Hobbs pull Dom out of the car as Letty stood behind them. Sophia felt her heart beat pick up as she was scared for her brother.

"Come on, buddy." Brian muttered as Sophia looked to her fiancé.

"Is he breathing?" She questioned, her voice cracking.

Letty crouched down on the floor, placing Dom's head in her lap and Brian looked to her, "I want you to keep his head tilted up, all right? Keep it back like this."

Letty did as he instructed, "Pinch his nose, keep his head tilted. Breathe into him, now. Go."

Letty did so, "Good. Come on, Dom. Come on, Dom. Come on! God damn it! You come on! You breathe! Go, go! Breathe."

Sophia let out a sob as she placed her hands over her mouth. She didn't know what to do, she felt herself panic.

"Come on. Damn it! Let's go. Come on, Dom, I need you to breathe. Come on! Come on, Dom! Come back! Come on, buddy."

"Stop it." Letty muttered.

"Come on!" Brian kept doing chess compressions.

Letty shoved Brian back. "Back off!"

"Will you stop?" Brian snapped. "Breathe into him. You breathe into him!"

Letty cried. "Brian, back off! Please."

"Brian." Sophia sobbed and reached for him as she dropped to the ground.

Brian finally moved back, going straight to Sophia as she clutched onto him tightly as her lips trembled. Letty adjusted Dom's head so it was on her shoulder as she had one arm around him, the other clutching his hand.

"Dom, baby, I know you're hurting right now, but I want you to listen." Letty sniffled. "Stay awake and focus on me. Dom. I remember everything. It came to me like a flood. I remember that night in the Dominican Republic. The night we got married."

Brian's head snapped up to look at them as Sophia sniffled, tears rolling down her cheeks as she clutched onto Brian's arms. She couldn't lose another member to her family especially her brother.

"If you die, I die." Letty continued. "And I'm not ready to leave this place yet. This moment is still ours. I remember everything. I remember it all."

"It's about time." Dom spoke weakly.

Sophia sobbed as she heard her brother speak. Letty laughed before looking around at them all before focusing on her husband.

"Why didn't you tell me we were married?" She asked him.

Dom looked at her. "Because you can't tell someone they love you."

Letty nodded before she kissed him. When they pulled back, Brian let go of Sophia as she crawled forwards. Dom turned to her and his face softened at the sight of her tears.

"Come here, Soph." He opened his arms and she wrapped herself around him, crying into his shoulder.

"I'm okay. I'm okay." He assured her as he rubbed her back gently.

At a Beach

Sophia stood by the ocean with Jack holding onto Sophia's hands as he stood with his feet in the water. Sophia's stomach had grown a little bit and she laughed as she picked Jack up and pressed kisses against his cheek while he squealed. Mia smiled as she walked back from the cars over to sit beside Logan and Jessie, their daughter, while Sophia looked to Brian.

"Come join us!" She urged him and he smiled at them.

She leaned down to Jack, her arms wrapped around him as she pointed him in Brian's direction. "Go get Daddy."

Jack ran over to Brian and he picked him up, "Yeah, buddy."

Dom smiled. "Duty calls."

Brian nodded. "It does." He stood up with Jack, holding his hands as they started to run towards Sophia. "Let's get Mama. Yeah! Here we go."

"Look, who finally decided to join us." Sophia teased Brian as he grabbed her from her waist.

"How are my girl's doing, " Brian asked as he rested his forehead onto her's and resting his hand on her stomach.

"We are doing amazing," Sophia admitted causing both of them to smile.

Before Brian could even answer Jack threw his soccer ball at Brian. Which caught both of their attention to their son. Jack was laughing at the two as Sophia and Brian ran to grab him, attacking him with tickles and kisses.

"Because the sun is out, you know, i'm kind of medium rare, but I can get, like, well done. Just, like, really dark." Roman turned to Tej as he tapped him. "What you nudging me for?"

Tej gave him a look. "Close your mouth for two seconds." He motioned towards where Sophia, Brian and Jack were. "Just open your eyes, man."

"Beautiful." Roman said.

Letty smiled. "That's where he belongs."

"Home." Mia added resting her head on her husband's shoulder as their daughter sat in her lap.

"Where he's always belonged." Logan admitted as he rubbed circles on Mia's hand.

Roman smiled softly at the sight of the family, "Things are gonna be different now."

Dom stood to his feet and stared at them before starting to walk off.

Ramsey looked over at him as she wondered. "You aren't going to say goodbye?'

"It's never goodbye." Dom stated.

Sophia glanced over at him and smiled at her brother before she blew him a kiss as she turned back to her family. Brian pulled her into his side as he held Jack and kissed her.

Sophia took Jack from him and nodded over to her retreating brother's figure. "Go."

As Brian followed after Dom, Sophia took Jack over to the rest of her family. Jack reached for Letty and climbed into her lap causing Sophia to smile at her sister in law.

I used to say I lived my life a quarter mile at a time and I think that's why we were brothers. Because you did, too.
