20. no extradition

Sophia held the travel magazine in front of her, carefully scanning the pages. Brian sat in front of Soph just mesmerized by her and scanning the area sometimes.

Sophia continued to flip through the pages, eyes casting across the page. She could practically feel Brian staring at her.

"What are you reading?" Brian asked, Sophia briefly glancing up at him to see him smiling at her.

"Travel guide." Sophia answered, flipping the page.

"Yeah?" Brian lightly grabbed the top of the magazine, bringing it down a little.

Sophia smiled at him and let him take it from her hands. Brian turned the magazine towards him and started to flip through the pages. Sophia watched his blue eyes scan the pages like she had moments before.

"Tokyo. Moscow. Goa." He listed off as he looked up at her with each flip of the page.

Sophia smiled more and leaned across the table, grabbing one of his hands and intertwined their fingers. "You want to know what all of these places have in common?"

"Huh?"

"No extradition." Sophia whispered.

Brian smiled widely at her, leaning across the table. He pressed his lips against hers gently. Sophia started to smile into the kiss causing Brian to pull away as a smile stretched across his face.

Sophia just adored his smile, and Brian couldn't help but love her brown eyes. Sophia caught sight of the worker as he walked through the doors.

"Showtime." Sophia told him

Sophia stood from her seats and moved along the train towards the worker. Sophia walked in front of Brian and passed the guard as Sophia collided with his shoulder.

Sophia faked a gasp, turning to him with a fake smile. "Oh, eu estou tao triste!"

The man responded back with a kind smile as she walked past him, Brian following. He placed a hand on Sophia's lower back as the two of them made their way out of the passenger car and headed towards the restricted area. Brian sidestepped around her and slid the card he stole from the worker into the slot.

The door beeped, the door unlocking, and Brian opened it. Sophia quickly shut the door behind them as they entered. Brian looked at Sophia as she nodded her head, both going over and pulled the sheets off the cars. Brian pulled his phone out from his pocket and dialed Vince's number.

"Hey, we've found them. Yeah, second to the last freighter."

He hung up and walked to the box that held the car keys. Sophia rolled her eyes as Brian smashed the glass and pulled out three sets of keys. He looked down and read the tags, his face dropping.

Sophia furrowed her eyebrows confused, "What is it?"

Brian glanced at Sophia. "DEA tags. These cars have been seized."

"Shit." Sophia sighed as she ran a hand through her hair.

Brian placed his arm around Sophia's waist as they stood at the back side of the train. Sparks flew on the inside as Vince and his guys cut through the train. The piece of train flew off and Sophia held her hand over her eyes at the sudden brightness. She lowered her hand and saw Vince standing there with a few other men along with her brother.

"Look who showed up." Vince smirked as he and Dom stepped onto the train.

Sophia quickly strode over to Dom wrapping her arms around his shoulder, his arms going around her waist tightly.

"Thank God you're okay." she said into his shoulder as he kissed her forehead.

Dom released her and moved to stand beside Brian. His eyes slightly narrowed down at the sight of him. "I thought I told you to lay low."

"Been running low on fumes. Had to make a call." Brian shrugged.

Sophia jumped slightly as the man beside her yelled. "Hey! Quit talking. We only got a two-minute window."

"Let's go, Vince." Dom said, Sophia frowning.

Vince nodded and got into the 1972 De Tomaso Pantera GTS, slamming the door shut. His car was hooked to wires before getting pulled out of the train and onto the truck. The truck tilted back, and Vince reversed off it, speeding off to the meet up point. The man who had yelled at them stepped forward, ready to get into the next car.

Dom's hand shot out and hit him in the chest. "Ladies first."

Sophia looked towards Brian nervously, he had a worried look on his face but nodded. She walked towards the Ford GT40. Sophia opened the driver's side door and paused turning to face the man who was arguing with Dom.

"Hey! Este carro nos convem melhor." She got into the car and started the engine, driving forward.

Brian gently knocked on her window as he passed her. "See you, baby."

Dom walked to the door after Brian and opened it, leaning down so only he and his sister could hear what he was going to say.

"Change of plans. Wait for my call." Sophia nodded her head.

Dom shutting the door. "Let's go!"

The car was jerked out onto the truck before tilting back. Sophia quickly reversed it and turned the wheel sharply, heading in the opposite direction. She slammed on the gas and drove off, heading in the opposite direction to their hideout where Mia and Logan were waiting for them.

At the hideout

Sophia sighed as she rested her chin on her hand trying to listen in on the radio. She also couldn't help but listen to her sister's conversation with Logan.

"You know when I was a kid, I used to dream of being a race car driver." Logan told Mia as she looked shocked.

"You did? What made you switch to a history teacher?" Mia asked as Logan grabbed her hand.

"Well, you know I was in the army for a little bit but exploring each country and learning about the culture, the history." Logan was rambling as Mia rubbed her thumb on top of his hand.

"Why a teacher though? Couldn't you have been an archeologist." Mia question wanting to know more.

"I could've been Indian Jones now that you put it like that." Logan admitted as Mia laughed a little.

"Missed opportunities but seriously why a teacher?"

"I used to help with my younger sibling's homework so seeing that light bulb lights up. I knew I wanted to help make an impact."

"That is similar to why I wanted to work at a children's hospital since I want to help make their lives better." Mia explains as they sat perched on the table getting lost in conversation.

While Sophia leaned against it as they listened to the radio. They had pinned the murders of the three US agents on the train on them. And if that wasn't enough, the boys had been missing for twenty-four hours now.

"A American fugitivos mortos tres agentes durante um assalto de trem-," Sophia switched stations. "Policia avisar estao armados e sao extremamente perigosos."

Sophia groaned catching Mia and Logan attention as she changed the station again. "Qualquer pessoa com informacoes devem contactar imediatamente a aplicacao da lei."

Mia leaned over and switched the radio off, sighing in frustration. Mia looked down at her sister with wide eyes as they heard the garage door slam.

Logan quickly grabbed Mia's hand as he whispered, "Don't worry. everything's going to be alright."

Logan pulled Mia off the table and hid behind a concrete column. Sophia grabbed the wrench beside them heading behind the column next to them. Sophia felt her heart beating faster, trying her best to calm her breathing.

Sophia tightened her grip on the wrench as Mia gave her a look. Logan looked down at Mia to see how worried she was and quickly kissed her forehead to let her know he was there.

"Sophie?" A sigh of relief left Sophia's lips at the familiar voice.

She stepped out behind the column as did Mia and Logan, both still holding hands.

Sophia jogged over to Brian and hugged him tightly. "Hey. Are you okay?"

Brian pulled away, scanning her figure to make sure she wasn't hurt. "Yeah, you all, right?"

Sophia nodded her head and watched Mia and Dom hug. Dom silently thanked Logan for being there for his sisters. Dom looked to Sophia walked up to make sure was alright. Dom's eyes drifted to the wrench Sophia was holding in her hand.

"Hey, yeah." He took it from her hands and smirked. "Just like a Toretto."

Dom set her down after squeezing her tightly. Mia and Logan went to check on Brian to make sure he was alright.

The grin on Sophia's face faded as she looked around them noticing Vince was missing. "Where's Vince?"

"That's a good question." Brian spoke as he looked over to Dom.

"He'll be here." Dom shook his head.

Sophia stepped next to Brian, crossing her arms over her chest. "Guys, we're all over the news. They're blaming us for the killing of those DEA agents on the train."

Brian sighed. "Which means we just jumped to the top of the wanted list. The Feds have got to show everyone their agents are off limits and they're going to send their best guys. We gotta get out of here."

"Brian is right we need to find a way to get out of here." Logan spoke as he was squeezing Mia's hand wanting to ease her of any anxieties.

Dom walked around the GT40. "One thing we know for sure is that they wanted this car."

Sophia and Brian shared a look, the brunette trailing her eyes along the car. "Because something's in it."

"If we find out what it is, we'll know what we're up against."
