Both Dom and Sophia talked for about a few minutes arguing about Sophia staying. It went on longer when Mia walked in and yelled at them for not telling her anything.

Mia came down to agreeing for Sophia to go with Dom. She knew it was better they have each other's back then Dom going by himself and getting hurt.

Mia walked away from Dom after hugging him goodbye and made her way towards her younger sister. Mia looked at Sophia with teary eyes before throwing her arms around her, Sophia squeezing her back tightly.

"Please be safe." Mia was scared for both her siblings' sakes.

"I will, I love you." Sophia nodded her head, Mia sighing on her shoulder.

"I love you too." Mia pulled back from her, Sophia wiping away the tear that ran down Mia's face.

Looking to Logan, "Please be here for Mia and protect her."

"Don't worry I'll be here to protect Mia," Logan told Sophia and Dom, "But if I am being honest Mia would be protecting me."

Everyone cracked a smile as Logan lighten the mood the best he could. Sophia squeezed Mia's hand one last time before making her way back towards Brian, getting in his car.

Mia hugged Brian goodbye before he got in the car. Logan walked to Mia's side as he was waving bye to the three. Brian gave Sophia a small smile before driving off after Dom. After long hours of traveling, they finally crossed the border.

The three waited in a clearing for Gisele, Sophia and Brian sitting on the hood of his car. His arm was wrapped around her, Sophia leaning to his side. Dom stood up as Gisele drove towards them, getting out of her car.

Dom walked up to her, meeting her halfway. "Thought you weren't gonna show up."

"You saved my life. I'm willing to return the favor." Gisele stated as Sophia sending her a smile in greeting, one Gisele returned.

"This will help you get to Braga." She handed Dom a piece of paper. "Dom, going in there is suicide."

"I have no choice." Dom replied as Brian pulled Sophia closer to him.

Gisele sighed. "You must have loved her very much." She stood on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek. "Buena Suerte."

Gisele sent one last smile to Sophia, who returned it, before getting back in her car and driving off. Dom walked back over to his sister and Brian.

"So, this is where my jurisdiction ends." Brian sighed.

Sophia smiled and gently kissed his cheek as Dom smirked at them, holding the piece of paper up in the air.

"And this is where ours begins." 

At the Church 

Sophia walked closely behind Brian and her brother as they entered the church. Brian kept his gun trained on Braga who was knelt in front of the cross. Sophia kept her gun at her side as Dom pulled out his shot gun, holding it to Braga's head.

"You ain't forgiven."

"You three want to arrest me?" Braga questioned as he looked at them in surprise. "Aqui dentro?

Brian lowered his gun slightly. "No, we're beyond that."

"You can't buy your way out of this one." Dom smirked.

Braga looked at him. "Hermano, you and me. You and me, we're not so different. You're no hero."

Dom cocked his gun, Braga closing his eyes in fear. "You're right, and that's why you're going back across the border."

He backed away, Brian walking behind Braga and handcuffing him. "But Fenix is mine."

"You got it." Brian nodded as he pulled Braga to his feet to bring him into Brian's car.

Dom grabbed Sophia's arm before she could get in the car, "Be careful, I can't lose you." Dom told her.

"You won't lose me. "You're stuck with me for life," Sophia smiled as she squeezed her brother's hand, "You be careful and don't do anything more stupid."

Dom squeezed her hand back as she turned and got in the back of the car. Brian quickly droves out into the street, Dom behind them.

"You'll make it a couple of miles out, if you're lucky." Braga said.

Brian ignored him and shifted gears, speeding down the street. He took a sharp turn, out of the town area, Sophia grabbing onto the back of Brian's seat to steady herself. Braga laughed at Brian as they drove through the desert.

"You know where you're going? You want to borrow my GPS?"

"Where are your boys at?" Brian questioned. "Are they going to show up or what?"

Sophia felt a wave of panic as they heard gunfire. She nervously glanced out the back to see all the cars following them.

"Careful what you ask for." Braga taunted him. "Just stop. Just stop the car."

A shriek of surprise left Sophia's lips as the back windshield shattered as a bullet pierced it, glass raining down on not only her by Braga too. She ducked down, covering her head protectively as Braga screamed loudly.

"Sophie, you, okay?" Brian yelled over Braga's screams.

"Yeah, I'm good." She assured him. "Just get us out of here."

More cars flooded into the area, Dom's voice overcoming the radio. "Right behind you!"

"Dom, head to the tunnels!" Sophia yelled into the radio as Brian neared the opening.

Dom took out the cars that had sandwiched theirs in, Sophia sighing in relief.

"Get out of here Brian." Dom said.

"You sure you know where the tunnels are?" Braga asked with a smirk.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'd hold on." Brian advised, Sophia casting him a wide-eyed look as she gripped his seat tighter. "This might hurt."

Brian sped up faster, heading straight for the rocks. The Subaru crashed through the barrier and into the tunnel, followed by Fenix and then Dom a few moments later.

Brian took a wrong turn, and the road ended. "No, no, no."

"Brian, go left. Go left!" Sophia exclaimed and Brian followed her commands, driving through another barrier.

Fenix appeared on Braga's side of the car, Braga yelling at him in Spanish. Fenix backed off, driving behind them. Braga turned and laughed in Brain's face causing him to elbow him the face, telling him to shut up. Sophia leaned forward, placing her hand on Brian's arm.

"Brian you can't listen to him; he is just messing with your head. You've got this."

Brian smiled at her before focusing back on the road ahead. He turned the car, and they reached the end of the tunnel. Fenix rammed into the car, the Subaru was sent flying out of the tunnel, flipping multiple times before landing on the ground, upside down.

Sophia groaned as her body was thrown against the roof of the car, slamming back onto the backseat. She brought her hand up to her head and winced as the pain seared all through her body.

The brunette brought her hand down, seeing there was blood on the tips of her fingers. She looked around the car and saw Braga and Brian weren't in the car.

"Brian." She breathed out as she tried to shove the door open.

After one final kick, the door burst open. Sophia's frail body fell out of the car, the brunette groaning as her stomach hurt. Sophia pushed her body up and struggled to get into a standing position.

Her hands pressed against the car, and she took a step forward. Her eyes widened as she saw Fenix pointing his gun at Brian. Sophia panicked and stumbled over her feet as she tried to hurry to him.

"Brian!"

Fenix turned to her and raised his gun on her, Sophia freezing. Her head whirled to the side as a car barreled towards them, Fenix aiming his gun at it.

Sophia quickly moved out of the way as she saw Dom driving the car. Dom slammed Fenix into the Subaru, pinning him between that car and his own.

Brian groaned in pain and Sophia hurried to him, falling onto her knees beside him. She pressed her hands on top of his as they were pressed to his abdomen.

"Oh my God." Brian groaned at the added pressure, Sophia looking down at him with teary eyes. "You're gonna be fine."

Dom crouched down beside his sister as they heard police sirens wailing in the distance along with a helicopter whirring.

Brian sighed, looking towards Dom. "You gotta get out of here."

"I ain't running anymore." Dom stated, looking down at his sister.

Sophia felt her heart drop at his words, but she understood his reasoning. "I gotta ask you something." Brian spoke.

"Yeah?"

"You know I would have beat you in that race if you didn't cheat, right?" Brian said, causing Sophia to smile at him.

Dom remained silent for a moment. "You hit your head hard."

Brian laughed before groaning in pain, clutching his side. "Don't make me laugh."

Sophia grinned at the two before carefully removing her hands from Brian's side. She turned to Dom and hugged him. Dom wrapped his arms around her and held her to his chest tightly, Sophia leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I love you, Dominic."

"I love you too Soph," Dom replied, squeezing her waist tighter.

Sophia pulled back and gave him a sad look. Dom then turned down to Brian and gave him a stern look.

"Look after her, buster."

"I will." Brian nodded his head as he grabbed Sophia's hand.

The police quickly ran over to them, handcuffing Dom and pulling him to the back of a police car. Sophia and Dom shared a look before Dom's head was shoved down and the car took off. Sophia looked down at Brian and cupped his face in her hands.

"I love you." Sophia said with her worried dark eyes locked onto his ocean blue ones

"I love you too." Brian smiled lopsidedly.

Sophia leaned down and pressed their lips together before the paramedics ran over to them.

Hii!!! another chapter done and one more before act 2 is over! how are you liking the story? I'm already started writing act 3 and I have an idea were I want the story to go especially with Mia and Logan. Also how are we liking them? hope you like this chapter and I hope you have an amazing day :)
