I was walking along the narrow hallway, hugging my books tightly to my chest. The bright sun flared through the window pane, almost blinding every corner with it's light. Luckily, this season allows us to only wear our short sleeved blouse, so we have do not feel as hot. When I walked pass the teachers' office, the door closed open to reveal a middle-aged male teacher who teaches me English. He waved at me to come over.

"Hinata, good job. You got the highest score in class"

"Thank you Asuma-sensei" I bowed.

"Keep up the good work" He said as he lightly pat my shoulder.

Suddenly, the ground shook.

Is this an earthquake?! Oh.. Oh no... This is definitely worse than an earthquake... I cried silently.

"Asuma-sensei! How dare you act intimate with my cute cousin? As her cousin, I will not allow this to happen!" Neji fiercely said once he stood in front of us, not breaking a sweat from running here from who knows where.

"I just.. I just patted her shoulder.." Asuma sweat dropped.

"You have misunderstood,nbrother Neji" I sighed at his ridiculously overprotective nature.

"Something like this have to be thought thoroughly!" Neji said.

"H-Hold on, Neji Hyuga! I already have a wife and a son!!" Asuma said in a panic.

"Is this even okay, Lady Hinata?! If you are to date a nice, kind and a young person ,I wouldn't mind, but this.."

"YOU HAVE GOT IT ALL WRONG, YOU IDIOT BROTHER!!"

~NEXT DAY~

"From today onwards, I'll be your English teacher" Iruka said.

"It went this far.." Ino said. "Even our teacher has changed."

"My idiot brother.. He always scare the guys away. When will a guy be brave enough to love me, a girl who has someone so protective over me like brother Neji" I sighed.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you will find someone!" Ino grinned.

"I hope so.."

I was packing my bags alone in class because a teacher held me back awhile ago to help her with some things. Just when I turned around after zipping my backpack, a bouquet of different shades of purple flowers appeared directly in front of my sight. Behind it held a young boy with bright blonde hair, bright blue eyes and beautifully sun-kissed skin.

"Hinata Hyuga, I love you. Will you go on a date with me?" He boldly asked.

"B-But.. I don't know much about you yet a-and.. M-My brother.. If he knows..." I muttered.

"It's okay. Just go out with me" He grinned. "If you want to know more about me, then just go out with me! You may leave if you think we don't suit each other..yes, we'll do it this way!"

He kissed me on the cheeks and said,"So from now on, we are official."

W-What?!? I blushed furiously.

"YOU'RE GOING OUT WITH NARUTO?!" Ino screeched after I told her the news from yesterday.

"W-What's wrong with that?!"

"He's popular, you know? Not only that, rumours said he's a playboy! He cheats on his girlfriends."

"NOOOOOO!!! I agreed on going out with him.. What should I do?!" I freaked out and hid my face in my palms.

"You don't have to worry about that." Ino assured.

"Why not?"

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

Eh?

The door slammed open by Neji and he said, "I'LL DESTROY THAT GUY!"

"Brother Neji!"

"News were spread around school. I'll NEVER let him go out with you!" He huffed furiously.

"Don't you have your cousin who treats you like his own sister?" Ino smirked wickedly as Neji was frustrated thinking about ways to harm Naruto.

"That's right! Ever since I was young, he loves to scare guys who comes close to me away. He'll succeed in separating us 'till we don't see each other ever again." I said confidently.

Naruto walked along the hallway surrounded by girls. He entertained them and grinned from ear to ear.

So the rumours were true..?

Noticing me, he waved at my direction and called out. "Hinata! Let's walk home together"

"R-Right.."

Can we not walk home together everyday..?

Suddenly, Neji appeared behind me.

"Hinata and I are busy today, so she can't walk home with you." He smiled.

"Who is this?" Naruto asked.

"My cousin whom I call brother Neji."

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, brother Neji" Naruto said and bowed respectfully while giving him his name card.

"Naruto, eh?" Neji turned to me and threw the name card in front of Naruto. "Come, lets go home!"

"I made a jacket for you, Naruto" Neji held a jacket up and showed it to Naruto. It was an orange jacket with the words, 'Break up.' And there is a broken heart with our names written on either side.

Naruto wore it and Neji complimented, "It suits you just well, Naruto"

"Really, brother Neji?!" Naruto said enthusiastically and I sweat dropped. "Do you like it,Hinata?!"

"LADY HINATA WILL NEVER HAVE INTEREST IN AN IDIOT LIKE YOU!!!" Neji raged.

M-Maybe.. Naruto..

"Let's go home,Hinata"

..is really an idiot!!

Suddenly,a bucket of water dropped on Naruto, causing it to soak his whole body.

"Sorry, my hand slipped!" Neji said from the second floor.

"Ridiculous!" I shouted. "I'm so sorry, Naruto-kun.."

"Hinata.." I-Is he angry?! "You're fine,right?"

"Eh..?"

"It's great you weren't splashed by the water just now. Thank goodness I'm the only one who was caught in it." Naruto said relieved.

"I-I.. You should worry about yourself. You may get sick in those soaked clothes." I said.

"It's okay,I'm fine" He assured me.

He didn't bother about himself.. He cared about me more than himself.

"Thank you.." I said sincerely.

I don't think Naruto is how the gossip said he is.

"Let's go, Hinata!"

"Go where?" I asked curiously.

"To get married!" He grinned.

I take back what I said!

"I'm not that easily to get married!"

"I brought bento for both of you" Neji said.

Naruto's bento consist of fried rice and an omelette. But there were words craved on the rice saying, 'Break up'.

"Awesome! It looks delicious,brother Neji!" Naruto drooled.

A complete idiot.. I sweat dropped.

After a few bites,Naruto started to look ill.

"W-Why my stomach.."

Neji showed me a peace sign and I glared at him.

I brought Naruto to the clinic and laid him down on the bed to rest.

"I'm really sorry!" I apologised.

"I'm fine, Hinata. I accidentally drank spoilt milk,thats all!"

No.. This must be all that brother Neji had done.

"Sorry. My stomach is so useless! What a waste that I wasn't able to finish the food your cousin made."

Naruto is always calm even when he's in trouble. He's a nice guy..

"Naruto! Help me to carry all these to the staff room" Neji requested.

"Why don't you carry yourself?!" I asked angrily. "I want to help too!"

As I reached for the things, I accidentally touched Naruto's hand and I felt an electricity flowing between us. I immediately pulled my hand back and blushed furiously.

Unknown to her, Neji saw what happened.

"If that's so, then your relationship with Naruto is going quite smoothly." Ino said after I told her everything that has happened. "Looks like you really do have a boyfriend"

"N-No!" I blushed a deep shade of red.

I don't..right..?

"Eh.. Isn't that Naruto?" Ino pointed to a direction.

I followed her gaze and saw a girl clinging onto Naruto.

Tears started flowing out of my eyes as I felt a pang of hurt on my heart.

"So it was true.." Ino said as she reached for my arm.

If I just let brother Neji settle everything and don't interfere with his plan or go against it, maybe I wouldn't be cheated like this.

Naruto turned around and said,"Hinata! I- EH?! WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!" He panicked.

"When I see you with another girl, I felt sad.." I sobbed.

"The other girl you said was actually.. Your cousin.." Naruto said.

"What? I have been found out?!" Neji seemed surprised. "My operation of seduction failed. Watch out!"

"Actually,why are you trying to seduce me?" Naruto sweat dropped.

"I'm so confused!" Naruto shrugged as he scratched his head. "I have liked you for a very long time. I have always tried to find the opportunity to confess to you, Hinata."

Naruto's POV

I finally said it! After so long,I finally confessed my love towards Hinata!

I scrunched my nose as I thought of my experience. My failed attempts of confession.

~FLASHBACK~

"I-I love you! Will you please go out with me??" I squeezed my eyes shut as I confess, hoping she will say a "yes".

When I opened my eyes,my heartbeat stopped. Not only did I not confess my love, I said it to the wrong person. What's worse, that person is a man, my teacher. Hinata has walked away from her spot which is now replaced by him.

"I'm so sorry, my son. I really appreciate your feelings, but I'm a straight man! It is very youthful of you to confess your feelings bravely" Guy said as he cried anime tears.

"N-No.." I sweat dropped.

There's still tomorrow..

~FLASHBACK ENDED~

"But I'm always too nervous to do it."

Hinata's POV

"Even though I forced myself to confess, I'm always worried if you'll accept me. I never thought you will be jealous.." He said. I could sense the sincerity in his voice and I was honestly moved.

"I wasn't jealous!" I pouted.

"Come, lets get married!"

Since when did I learn to fall for Naruto..?

I have to admit my feelings and force brother Neji to approve of this relationship!

"Hinata.. I'm sorry because I have a meeting today. I'll probably be late,so you'll have to walk alone." Naruto said apologetically.

"Oh..then..." I hesitated.

"Hinata?"

"If I don't mind to wait for you, can we walk together?" I boldly asked.

He seemed to be taken aback by what I said.

"You really don't mind?" He asked to make sure.

"Yes! I want to wait!"

"Alright,wait for me in class then"

The happiness of seeing someone I love...

Naruto's POV

"NARUTO!" Neji shouted as he slammed my class door open. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"

"Yes brother Neji?"

"DON'T CALL ME BROTHER!"

"I'm teaching here,please keep quiet!" Iruka said,but he was ignored.

"BECAUSE OF YOU THAT LADY HINATA RETURNED HOME LATE LAST NIGHT!" He fumed.

"Returned home late?"

"Don't tell me she return in the morning?!"

Whispers were heard from the whole class.

"DO YOU KNOW, SHE RETURNED AT 6PM IN THE EVENING! IT'S CLOSE TO THE NIGHT!" He continued.

"That's so early!" Again,the class gossiped among themselves.

"I'm sorry.." I apologised.

"I have to solve this.."

"WHAT?! Battling?!" Hinata shrieked.

"Yeah,on the roof top after school today" I said.

"You can't battle.. Brother Neji used to be the champion of karate. One of his opponents fell into coma state." She muttered worriedly.

"Don't worry, I must do this" I said.

"But.."

"Although I have to go through all these, please do not worry. I have PE class, but you have English class. Return to your class first, the bells is going to ring"

"I'm sorry, Naruto-kun"

I looked at her with a questioning look and suddenly felt a push from the back. I fell into a room and was locked inside.

"Hinata?! What's this?!"

Hinata's POV

"I thought the coward wouldn't show himself" Neji said as I stood in front of him with my hoodie on, hiding my face and my hair.

I held a sketchbook in front of me with the written words, 'Bring it on!'

"Why did you bring a sketchbook along?" He sweat dropped.

'Whatever!'

"You pathetic brat.." He cracked his knuckles and charged at me. "I'LL NEVER SURRENDER LADY HINATA TO YOU!"

As I waited for the impact, it didn't come. Instead, I was pushed by a weight.

"There are two Narutos??" Neji asked,confused. "What happened here?"

Naruto pulled down my hoodie and I was revealed.

"Lady Hinata became Naruto? How can it become like this?" Neji asked nobody as he tried to collect himself.

"So that was why you locked me in that room. You wanted to disguise as me to fight with your cousin." Naruto said.

"I'm sorry.. I used brother Neji only separate the both of us. But I don't know why I couldn't bear to see you suffer" I cried. "I love you,Naruto!"

Finally, I confessed. I admitted my feelings. My tears continued to flow down my cheeks and I saw a smile of defeat plastered on Neji's face.

"Naruto!" He called and Naruto tensed up. "If you make Lady Hinata cry again, you will know how I'll teach you a lesson!" He warned.

"Yes, brother Neji" Naruro obeyed. "If it's this way.. There isn't freedom yet, is it?" He shrugged.

"I'm sorry.." I said.

"You're not forgiven." He said.

"Eh?" I looked up at him.

Suddenly,he pulled my head towards him and kissed my forehead.

"I'll forgive you with this" He grinned.

"Grr... What did you do to Lady Hinata just now?!" Neji barked.

"Eek!" Naruto paled. "But as long as she's not crying then it's okay,right?"

"..." Neji was speechless,unable to fight back. "I REALLY WILL NEVER PASS LADY HINATA TO YOU!!!"
