Louise had a beautiful idea.
But there was so much to do, so much to gather, so little time....
It was much like assembling a newly contrived orchestra. Loads of important things to gather, lots of decisions to make.
Finding the instruments...
musicians....
conductor....
and even sorting a baton for heaven's sake!
Louise had a vision and she definitely needed a conductor to help assemble the orchestra and flow of the progression to the wonderful finale.

Evie was recovering well and by the end of the first week of the lads' Paris stint Louise had itchy feet and needed her dose of Lennon.
Even if she had to cross the Channel and board planes, take buses, and even bribe Brian for a few measly minutes!, she would have him.
Come hell or high water she would find his arms for that cuddle.. and possibly more. Maybe some antics that would make a sailor blush and your mum faint but we shan't get into that all here because, you know... Come on, back on track with you!
The taxi was missing, she had called over an hour ago for the seven o'clock pickup, another finally turned up an hour later but it was much like a baby learning to crawl, it was slow to get her to the destination!
Given that she knew what a baby was like in terms of behaving or misbehaving at the most inopportune times Louise had factored in a lot of extra time but it was of no use in the end.
She missed the flight.
Carrying Evie, lugging bags and necessities Louise had rushed as fast as her feet would carry her but the gate was shut and the attendant turned her away, back towards the ticketing office.
Undeterred Lou sat patiently jiggling Eve and plying her with triangles of sandwiches, especially cut for the trip.
For hours upon hours, until the gate opened once again, Lou entertained the infant and when she finally stood wearily beside her aisle seat she sighed, happy she was finally able to relax, even if it was just for a little while...
She fell into the aircraft seat relieved and surprisingly Evie was not even causing a ruckus, but of course she was still very much wanting her mother's undivided attention.
Soon they were in the air and as the plane leveled out Louise battled with her own, and poor Evie's, eardrums popping. Thinking quickly she offered milk arrowroot biscuits to Eve hoping her little ears would settle and the pain would stop as she bit down and chewed on the bikkies.
Sleep eventually befell little Evie as the plane dipped through the clouds and Louise craned her neck over the nice lady passenger sitting beside her, to view Paris waking up to a new day.
She mused that it was more than likely the boys would be sleeping off the nights excesses and live show right at this particular moment as she jetted in above them.....
Two reasons brought Louise to the conclusion she should venture across the channel.
One was her own need to see John. She missed him plan and simple
And the other was Paul's emotive worrying for Johns well-being.
During a late-night sneaky phone call he had made to Lou, Paul had confided that John had been drinking in excess, to the point of collapse every night.
John had confided to Paul that it was so he '..could stay comatosed in sleep rather than be entertaining or entertained'..... Louise understood implicitly what Paul was implying and her heart was a mixture of happy and sad thoughts...
Happy John was so intent on being true and sad because life wasn't intended to be spent in a drunk state of mind. It definitely wasn't healthy and certainly wasn't right.

The Conductor.
The conductor of course was Brian, ever ready to assist and make sure 'his boys' were happy. And Louise, he knew, made the often caustic, sometimes terse John, happy.
After speaking to Paul, Louise had Paul pass the telephone to Brian and from there on in only he and Lou knew the plans discussed and the direction taken.
The seed was planted and Brian did everything his end to water and care for it, so the fruit of Lou's plan would be harvested to perfection.
Although she wanted to burst into the suites and rattle Johns bones to pieces Louise decided to stay low, stay hidden away in another suite and get together all the supplies she needed to surprise him.
And it would be a wild surprise indeed.....
She was escorted by concierge from the front door all the way to a beautiful room on the seventh floor. With views of the Parisian Skyline, including the iconic Eiffel Tower and what she found to be the Charles Garnier's Opera House Louise had to lift her jaw off the floor as she walked through each room the concierge personally presented to her. The bathroom, almost as big as their entire flat, was so opulent with golden marble and taps that sparkled. Busts of Napoleon and a lovely woman, perhaps Marie Antionette, adorned the suite and as the concierge followed in Louise's wake he watched her as she ran a gentle hand over the ornate sideboard and noticed her both admire and flinch at the busts balanced so precariously on it.
Louise didn't dare put Evie down for fear the baby would rattle the hundreds of year old furniture and smash pieces of expensive artwork to the floor. The concierge raised an eyebrow in question, allowing Louise room to ask "Please monsieur, can we remove the busts for their safety and the baby's" Nodding assent with a courteous smile, everything Louise needed gone was taken without question nor bother and she could finally begin to relax into her opulent surroundings.
The knock on the door was expected, Louise pulled herself away from the view and opened the door to a welcomed sight - Brian.
"Hi Brian, thank-you for all this. Come in , come in" Louise stepped back into the room "The room is beautiful isn't it!"
With a chaste kiss to her cheek Brian agreed then stepped past Lou and went about introducing the beautiful French girl stood waiting patiently in the doorway. With two long braids down her back and a generous open face she nodded at Lou a hello. "Louise this is Estelle, she comes highly recommended and I'm sure she will care for Eve splendidly"
After some halting English Q and A, Louise witnessed the girl's brilliant way of making Evie smile through tears that had started falling after the baby was denied the chance to play with the cut crystal vase sat remiss on the coffee table.
Sorting Estelle to Evie's needs and nap times and pointing out the babies accessories and nappies Brian then escorted a suitably pleased Louise to the chauffeur driven motor waiting for them downstairs.
Lou's day was now, finally, truly about to begin.....
