Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco), the Philippines' 21st tropical cyclone for 2020, began pummeling Luzon on November 11.
Still reeling from Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni), Bicol was the first to face Ulysses' wrath, as the typhoon triggered massive floods in parts of the region.
Ulysses then battered Calabarzon, Central Luzon, and Metro Manila, unleashing powerful winds and torrential rain that left neighborhoods submerged and people appealing for aid and rescue.

What is happening in the Philippines
The largest island of the Philippines, Luzon, was struck by Typhoon Rolly (Goni) in November 1. It made landfall and affected many Filipinos residing in Bicol region (southern region).
In November 11, just after the devastating typhoon Rolly, Metro Manila and other nothern region of Luzon are currently affected by Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) destroying houses, businesses, and agriculture.

WAYS TO HELP THE PHILIPPINES

As of November 12, 2020, the Philippines is currently experiencing a strong typhoon called #UlyssesPH. The country was also recently hit by the super typhoon, #RollyPH. Typhoon Ulysses brought strong winds and rains while moving at a slow speed, causing different kinds of disasters in different parts of the Philippines, mostly in Luzon.
