lovesick!

IT WAS A WARM WEEK IN FEBRUARY AND that only meant one thing: the time of love. Decorations for the upcoming dance were being put up as Samira walked towards her locker. As she grabbed her things, she felt two arms around her waist. "Morning, Mira." Lee stated.

Samira giggled, closing her locker and faced him. "Hey, Lee." The two shared a quick kiss as they looked at each other. "Are you guys done? Really, this early in the morning?" Issac complained. Kia jogged over to the trio, standing in between. Unbeknownst to her, Issac's cheeks were crimson. "Hey, guys. Issac, the dance committee needs help putting up banners. Could you help?"

Issac groaned, giving in. "Fine. But you owe me one of your cinnamon rolls." He and Kia walked away, leaving the couple alone. "She's so oblivious." Samira stated. The skater nodded his head in agreement, kissing her cheek. "They'll come around, eventually. You look pretty." The curly - haired girl fixed the headband in her hair, smiling at him. "Thanks. You look handsome. But what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me?" he asked, the two walking down the hallway. "I'd love to, Lee. Also, I don't have anything after school today so I can come over." she answered, slipping her hand into his. "Sounds great. I'll see you later, then?" he questioned, the two standing in front of her class. "See you later, Lee."

School was finally over for the day as the two were currently standing in Benny's room, watching him play with his action figures. "Spider - Man was swinging through the city, looking for Dr. Evil Minion. When all of sudden, he heard a yell." Benny narrated, causing Samira to softly yell. "Help! Help!" she exclaimed. Lee laughed, causing the curly - haired girl to shush him. "Spider - Man rushed to the scene and said 'what seems to be the problem?'" Benny continued, moving the web - slinging hero. "I've been kidnapped by Dr. Evil Minion. Look, out!" Samira stated, pretending to be scared.

"It is I, Dr. Evil Minion! You are no match for me, Spider - boy." Lee said, doing a silly voice. Long story short, the two figures fought, and the hero won. "I'll get you next time!" Lee exclaimed, feigning annoyance. "And so, Spider - Man and Barbie were safe. They lived happily ever after, the end." Benny stated, causing the couple to applaud. Samira smiled at the young boy, giving him a high - five. "That was great, Benny. You should be a storyteller."

"Really?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with delight. "Yeah. You have a great imagination." she answered, earning a hug from him. "Thanks, Samira. Also, Lee talks about you all the time." Benny stated, earning a glare from his older cousin. "Benny!" he exclaimed, chasing the young boy. He simply laughed and left the room, leaving the couple alone.

"You talk about me?" Samira asked, her eyes softening. Lee slowly nodded, his cheeks crimson. "I do. Is that okay?" The curly - haired girl kissed his cheek as she looked at her boyfriend. "Does that answer your question?" she asked. Lee raised an eyebrow as he kissed her hand. "Since when did you get so flirty? That's usually my thing."

"I think I got it from you." she stated, causing the two of them to laugh. "You definitely did." Lee glanced down at her lips, looking back at her. Samira nodded her head, brushing her nose against his.

And was it the longest one ever.

SAMIRA SMOOTHED OUT HER DRESS AS she walked into the room, music blasting from the speakers. "Sam, you made it! You look so pretty!" Paige exclaimed, taking note of the girl in red. "Thanks, Paige. You look beautiful. Is Kia here? I know that Brady's in New York right now so he's obviously not here."

"Yeah, she's here. Although, I don't know where Lee is. I'll find him for you." The blonde walked away from her friend, in search of a certain skater. "Sunshine?" someone asked, causing Samira to turn around. "Hi, grumpy. I was just about to look for you. You look great." Lee revealed a bouquet of roses, handing them to her. "These are for you. They kind of match your dress. You look great too."

Curls framed her face as she held the flowers in her hands, a smile tugging at her lips. That was something he enjoyed seeing everyday, he could get used to it. Whenever she smiled, it seemed like all his problems melted away. She was as radiant as the sun in his opinion. "These are beautiful, Lee. Thank you." Samira gushed. "No problem. Do you want to dance?" Samira nodded her head, asking her brother to hold her bouquet for a bit. The couple walked onto the dance floor, having a great time.

A slow song started to play, causing kids to pair up. Samira and Lee slow danced, the girl looking at him. "But thanks for asking me. This is really fun." she stated, getting spun around. "It really is." Maybe she was lovesick, maybe she was swooning, maybe it was both. Lee was a great guy and she was grateful for that.
