Oh Wikipedia.

I suppose this is a minor rant.

Well everyone knows that Wikipedia can't be trusted on everything, but some things are just ugh...

First Brian's Wikipedia page is a joke. It's hardly worth to read, there's not much, but okay I can live with that...

Then I saw this:

I translated the text, because obviously I can't expect everyone to understand French and it wasn't available in English.

Ain't Nothing Wrong with That

Ain't nothing wrong with that or My little one is a relatively unknown song, whose composer remains unknown. 3 versions of the song exists. In the first and second version Brian Jones sitar is audible. In the third version including the singing it is hardly present. It could be one of the rare compositions of the guitarist Brian Jones. It was performed shortly after the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 by:

Brian Jones: Sitar and percussion and vocals
Jimi Hendrix: Lead Guitar
Dave Mason: Bass
Mitch Mitchell: Drums

This looks kind of fine at first, but if you listen to the song, you'll probably hear what I mean:

That's not Brian singing, not at all. It's Noel Redding in fact. Well Brian did co-lead vocals on walking the dog and background vocals in some early Stones songs, so if sb wants to compare:

Well that he did the sitar part should at least be believable, but there seemingly was another mix up. It wasn't Brian, who played the sitar, but apparently Dave Mason of Traffic .

And that's how one of the rare Brian Jones compositions turns into smth that has nothing to do with him at all.

Great work. 👏
