John: "You look fuckin' disintegrated, man!"

Brian: "Yeah, but I still look better than you."

^----- and that's why one just has to love Brian.

One might wonder why I choose John next, well his interview on Brian is quite known and often misquoted, so it seemed like a good idea to show the whole thing and not just pieces and bits.

Furthermore, after Brian 'had left' the Stones he was in contact with John about forming a new band, but as far as it is known, the last time the two met was at the Rock 'n Roll circus.

What else? Eh.. I really like Brian's scarf in the picture above. Wow what an important fact to mention...  👏👏👏

Well the following extract is  from an Rolling Stone interview from 1971.

"Interviewer: What was Brian like?

John: Brian Jones?

Interviewer: Yes.

John: Well he was different over the years as he disintegrated. He ended up being the kind of guy that you dread he'd come on the phone, you know, because you know it was trouble. He was really in a lot of pain. But in the early days he was all right, because he was young and confident. He was one of them guys that disintegrated right in front of you. And he was all right and he wasn't sort of brilliant or anything, he was just a nice guy.

Interviewer: What did you feel when he died?

John: By then I didn't feel anything, really I just thought another victim of the drug scene. "

Again we have the nice guy idea, so it might be save to say he really was and not only 'a terrible person' or 'a real bastard'. Well he probably was that too, but I feel like Brian's nice side often gets overlooked or only mentioned by fans. The others usually rather concentrate on the troubled or disintegrated bit rather than anything else...
