We pull up to a block of fairly modern apartments and park outside, I look up at the concrete oasis and feel somewhat comforted, the area is so nice a real change from the usual junkie scum that lay in every nook and cranny of the town.

I jump out of the car and follow Gerard and Mikey across the street, we waltz into the apartment block and head to the elevator, Mikey decides to take the stairs leaving me and Gerard alone, the door opens and we both walk in to the kinda cramped yet empty elevator, I press my back against the metal bar and deeply exhale, I've never felt more at home. I look over to Gerard and notice him blushing "what, dingus?" I laugh, "nothing... I was just thinking about how much I would love to kiss you" he pushes his hair back slightly awkwardly, " that doesn't sound like a bad idea" I giggle trying to relax him.

He scoots closer.
He slides a hand round my neck.
He leans in slowly.
The scent of cigarettes radiating off of him.
He closed his eyes and the gap between us.
Our lips brush.
His chapped and pale, mine soft and blushed.
I kiss back a little harder.
He slides his tongue along my bottom lip pleading for entrance.
I part my lips more and our mouths move in sync, our heads tilted.
The kiss deepens and he bites my lip lightly, gaining a little moan from me.
The elevator door opens and we push off of eachother as we see a little girl staring and her mother.

"Mommy, they were kissing, they are in love" the little girl smiles

"Yeah they are, aren't they cute" she smiles nodding approvingly

We both giggle and he reaches out his hand and tangles his fingers in mine.

"Well this is our floor, floor 10, have a good evening Mrs Williams, bye bye Hayley" Gerard says as he leads me out of the elevator, waving at the little girl.

"She's so cute" I smile as he pushes open his apartment door

"My next door neighbor" he says leading me in

"Cute place" I say walking over to the couch

"You ain't seen the half of it yet" he smiles
