Hermione's POV

So it's my 18th birthday and I've been summoned to the headmistresses office. I don't know why. Anyway, I'm a little sad George didn't send me a gift at breakfast. I know we aren't dating yet. But we are supposed to marry. I thought he would of sent me something. "Treacle tart" I say and I am let in.

As I entered the office I was engulfed in a hug. "Hello beautiful" George says smiling down at me.

"George?!" I say surprised. "What are you doing here?" I ask him curious.

"Rescuing you from boredom" he states.

"George I have homework to do" I tell him.

"Not today, it's your birthday and I forbid it" he tells me.

"But..." I try to protest.

"No buts, I have a day planned for us" he tells me.

"I can't leave school grounds unless it's a Hogsmeade weekend" I tell him.

"Actually you can with my permission" Professor McGonagall states. "Which I give you, just make sure she is back by dinner" she tells George.

"You're the best Minnie" he says smiling.

"But my friends..." I start.

"I'll inform Mr Potter, you enjoy your birthday Miss Granger" she tells me. George pulls me over to the fire place.

"Say, 'the hollow'" George tells me. I do so and I am taken away. He appears not long after me I look around confused.

"Where are we?" I ask him.

"Our house" he declares with a smile.

"Our house?" I ask shocked. When did we agree to buy a house?

"Yep, just brought it" he tells me.

"Without talking to me?" I ask him.

"It's called a gift Hermione, accept it" he tells me.

"You brought me a house for a birthday present?" I ask him surprised.

"Yep, four bedroom. Five if we have to convert the office into a bedroom" he tells me. "Want a tour?" he asks me. I nod my head. He links arms with me. "Well this will be the living room, I thought we could get a TV. You know have the best of both the magic and muggle world" he explains. "Over here it the dining room and kitchen. Will need a some renovations, along with most of the house. Figured we could pick things out together" he explains.

"What's through that door?" I ask pointing to the door next to the stairs.

"Guest bathroom, then laundry. The door opposite it the office, where you and I can do paper work" he explains.

"Upstairs?" I ask and he leads me up them.

"Directly opposite is the third and fourth bedroom. To our left the second bedroom upstairs bathroom. To our left, our master bedroom, walk in robe and ensuite" he explains.

"Our room?" I ask him blushing.

"Yes ours, after all we will be living together and married once you graduate" he states. "Anyway I have one last gift" he adds leading me to our future bedroom. I hear a whine and he headed to the master walk in robe. He reappears with a puppy.

"You got us a dog too?" I ask him shocked as he hands it to me.

"I couldn't resist, I love border collies" he tells me. "I called him Grim" he states as the pup licks my cheek.

"He is very cute" I state and Grim yips happily. "So where are we?" I ask him curious.

"Actually, Godric's hollow" he states rubbing the back of his neck.

"Where in Godric's hollow?" I ask him.

"Dumbledore's old family home, Aberforth put it up for sale. He gave it to me at a good price. Asking that I bring joy and laughter back to the house. But insure that the past owners are never forgotten" he states. "I'm having a portrait of the Dumbledores done, to be hung over our fire place" he explains.

"That's sweet" I state as I pat Grim.

"Did I do good?" he asks hopeful. I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Yes, you did" I tell him. He smiles hugging me. "This was a nice birthday gift" I tell him.

"I am glad you like them. I was so nervous about what to get you. And wither you'd like it or not" he states. "Anyway, I'll get samples and magazines. And we can decide of some renovation ideas on your first Hogsmeade visit" he tells me.

"Sounds good" I tell him. "I hope you take good care of Grim and teach him manners. Along with basic obedience" I tell him.

"Don't worry, I will" he assures me. "Anyway I have a picnic set up for us out front" he states. We go outside with Grim putting him on a lead. Sitting down on the picnic blanket and George serves the food.

"So how is the building of the second shop going?" I ask him.

"They break ground today actually" he tells me. "Fred is covering for me today" he adds. "Speaking of Fred, he and Angelina are engaged now" he states.

"Good for them" I say with a sigh.

"What's wrong?" he asks me.

"I don't know, I guess I thought we'd be at least dating. But we aren't yet" I tell him.

"Oh" he says face palming. "I forgot to ask you to be my girlfriend. Stupid me" he states. "So Hermione Granger, will you be my girlfriend?" he asks me.

"You really want to my boyfriend?" I ask him.

"Of course I do" he says with a smile. "So?" he asks.

"Yes, I'll be your girl friend" I tell him and he smiles kissing my cheek. We continue to enjoy our lunch. "So any word from Charlie?" I ask him and he laughs.

"Funny you should mention it, he eloped" he tells me.

"Bet your mum wasn't happy about that" I state with a giggle.

"She was furious" he laughs. "But simmered down when she heard she'd have her first grand baby in 36 weeks" he states.

"Charlie already got his wife pregnant?" I ask shocked.

"Yep, but they don't plan on staying together" he tells me. "She's a slytherin and never wanted children. Once the baby is born they'll divorce and she'll be leaving" he explains.

"Leaving Charlie to raise the baby alone?" I ask shocked.

"Yep, but no need to worry. He is looking at getting a new job in the UK, so that mum and dad can help him" he states. I nod my head. The rest of lunch was lovely. We then took Grim on a walk around Godric's Hollow.

Then returned home, choosing bedroom four as the future nursery of our future family. Gryffindor colours and mahogany furniture. We'd settle on the rest in Hogsmeade. I then returned to school. Had dinner with my friends before returning to the common room. Where Harry and Ginny had hidden my homework on George's orders. If I fall behind in my studies, he'll be in so much trouble.
