Backstory: Edmund is a member of the Lawrence clan. But like Eula he went against his family but instead of running away he was cast out. Which only made him more successful. A banished member of the Lawrence clan? Selling fabulous dresses and outfits to everyone in Mondstadt except the Lawrence clan? Why that's astounding! Remarkable even! And he was able to open his shop in a matter of weeks after his banishment. Soon Edmund became the most popular fashion designer and dressmaker in all of Mondstadt. He even made Jean and Barbara's summer outfits at Lisa's request. With his success and quick cashflow he was able to succeed so much more than his family ever could. But once while on a trip to Fontaine while looking for inspiration he was met with a mechanized toy shop. Where they were displaying the prototype of a life-sized automaton children could have as their playmate. So when it was found 'defective' because of its constantly changing shape from a tall woman to a short man Edmund took his chance to purchase it and name it Garment (Gar-mont) and began using it as his mannequin for new designs as well as a helper in combat. Such a wonderful duo Edmund and Garment are. Eula stops by every now and then to check in but Edmund is always doing better than her last visit. Of course he is. His life is 2500 times better now that he doesn't have to worry about the Lawrence clan constantly breathing down his neck.
