Tariks Lore (pt. 1)

Tarkis the everlasting shadow or evening caller, been in Sumeru for a long time. He is the successor of Princess Durga the younger sister of King Deshret.

Princess Durga died at very young age due to a sudden illness that took her life. Because of that King Deshret was in mourning for a while, but Greater Lord Rukkhadevata wanted to help him so she sent her younger brother to keep him company.

Being but a small boy that the time, King Deshret took a liking to Tariks early on. Seeing Princess Durga in him in several ways, in some cases he was like an older brother to him.
Thus why Tariks took more of a jackal like form, after staying with him for a while.

Tariks came to learn combat really well and got dangerous good with the claymore class. In a short time of few years, Tariks grew in size and strength.
Those who look at him off call him a mountain, because of his height. King Deshret also nicknamed him the unmovable due to his physical prowess, and he was like an immovable boulder.

Like his sister, Tariks had affinity with knowledge and wisdom, however it began to morph more into insight. This talent of his allowed him to tap into the land itself, and in some cases Irminsul itself.

This also allowed him to communicate with the animals and the forest itself, and develop a relationship with them. He was the first person to suspect the withering when forbidden knowledge was introduced into the world.
However, before he could warn his sister he was infected by it.

He fell into a coma shortly after in the desert and Deshret and his sister couldn't find him.

After the events of Deshret accepted forbidden knowledge, and Rukkhadevata made Nahida.
Tariks woke back up as soon as forbidden knowledge was cleared up, however his throat was severely damaged.

He also came to learn the forest rejecting him for a little while, as to reasons he didn't know just yet. However, his insight into the land of Sumeru still ran deep and he knew something was wrong.
He learned Mirage, an ancient night terror was awakened and now runs free in the land.

During his hunt, he came across Amunet who he soon fell in love with. Although, for a long while he would disguise himself a matra soldier.
After spending time with her, he soon revealed his identity to her only to learn she suspected he was "unique."

When Cyno was born he wasn't really sure how to handle it at that time. However, he and Amunet soon came to an agreement to give him away. Which he came to regret much later, but he never stopped watching over him.

Although, being a god he had no need for the mora so he let Amunet take it all. He only agreed to it because if word got out Cyno was his son, it would cause problems.

At times, he often things about meeting Cyno and revealing to him they were related. However, he thought against it since he figured it would be best he wouldn't know. It would also be a bit pointless, especially now after all this of silence and avoidance. He is content to know Cyno is a strong defender of Sumeru.
