Chantico the original name for Amaris, the Scarlet Queen.
It's unknown what Amaris looked like in her human form, because she hardly ever took walked the ground like humans.
Although in reality, she used her up her human form as a sacrifice to mark the symbol of new beginnings. She also used it to make Natlan self-efficient in stasis energy. Meaning it doesn't really need a stasis archon in direct power to ensure the nightmares stay away. Her gnosis and body are constantly being used a fuel for Moon Fire.

Moon Fire is one pillar of fire that only lights up during the night, and can be seen above the archon throne in the stadium. Some say, if you look in the center of the fire long enough. You can see human bones in the center of it supposedly Amaris's human body.

Relationship with Mauvika:

They are not blood related which is it uncommon for Natlan. The stasis pyro archon tends to be a reincarnation of the previous one that falls. When the black dread fell, Amaris was found lying in his remains. Mauvika, let her fly wild and free although she has tried to ride her before.
However, Amaris rejected her and any potential person that came her away.
Until, Amaris disappeared for a few days and soon discovered that she went to the north.

Capitano:

Every dragon has their criteria of who they choose to let them ride.
For Capitano having a commanding authority, and also wishing drastic change for Natlan is probably what caught Amaris attention.

According to the few fatui soldiers who witness the whole thing.
They were simply in a training session, prior to departing to Natlan. When all of sudden they heard a roar and Amaris flew overhead. At first they were panicked and got the ballista's ready, but the Captain ordered for a stand down. Knowing, if Amaris wanted them dead she would have killed them already.

Amaris then landed in the training ground scanning the crowd, before approaching Capitano slowly. Despite disliking the cold, she still laid her down on the ground before him.
In Natlan, being chosen by the stasis dragon is considered a great honor. For Capitano, it meant that same thing although confused as to why.

His bond with Amaris was short lived when the Tsarista heard of it. After there 'bonding' flight chains and nets were used on Amaris. As much as he disagreed with his archon, he couldn't stop the tsarista for using Amaris for her own purposes.

Iganica:

Ignacia was supposedly kidnapped by the fatui or she went willingly. Her job was simple, ensure Amaris is well taken care of—which is harder than it looks.
It's not uncommon for stasis pyro dragons to not care about their priest, except for a few that hold some qualities the dragons like.

The relationship between Amaris and Iganica is no different from a love-hate relationship. Amaris often ignores and has little regard for her priest.
