Bringing it All to an End

Welcome to a new chapter.

And to further screw with you guys.

(😈😈😈)

(My stories are set to Mature for a reason)

(And you guys made me laugh last chapter, so why not?)

Don't own the art/gif. They belong to their respective creators.

Enjoy!

"Welcome back!"

Zero greeted them cheerfully.

"Time to get to it and show the next viewing."

Here, he gave a smile similar to a certain Radio Demon.

"And I assure you Lumine."

He addressed the startled Traveler.

"You'll find a clue as to what your brother has been doing all this time."

!!

"What...?"

Lumine breath got caught in her throat.

She was finally going to get some information!?

Aether on the other hand.

'Oh SHIT!'

Was panicking and cursing the God for interfering.

Zap!

And got subtly zapped for it.

"Buuuuut!" He trailed off. "Before we do."

SNAP!

"AHHH!?"

BAM!

"Let's bring some more people in here."

"NANI!?"

"Ouch!"

A mask wearing male shouted.

(Kalpas)

"Whose bright idea was it to do that!?"

"Easy, Kalpas."

A nun(?)

(Aponia. Nun...right. That is one revealing nun. Well, I guess religion had to find a new way to draw in new followers).

Calmly said.

"What a majestic stage."

A diva spoke up.

(Eden)

"I feel a strong bout of inspiration to draw."

A young girl spoke up.

(Griseo)

"...It's a nice place."

A green haired male spoke up.

(Kosma)

"Such an interesting turn of events."

A pink haired girl spoke up.

(Elysia. Man, Mihoyo loves to turn people into simps)

"Hmm..." a light gray-haired man with his eyes closed simply said.

"Where. Are. WE??"

Their leader, a white-haired, blue-eyed male, that looked suspiciously like a male Kiana, coldly spoke up.

(Kevin Kaslana)

His very being exuding an ice-cold aura.

"What is this place?"

He coldly spoke.

Before any of them could offer suggestions.

"You're in my world."

Zero interrupted them, getting their attention.

"Who are you!?"

Kalpas shouted.

Body tensed as he glared at him.

"Zero the name." Zero answered. "Chaos is my game."

"Why you!"

Kalpas charged at him, his temper getting the best of him.

"Kalpas, wait!"

Elysia shouted.

BAM!

Kalpas slammed his gauntlet straight at Zero face.

"Take that bastard!"

Kalpas yelled.

Zero...barely felt it as he suddenly glared at him.

"Nice try."

He said as he formed a fist with his right hand.

"This is a punch!"

BAM!

"GACK!"

Kalpas gasped as he felt the blow ringing throughout his body.

"You still got a ways to go, child."

With that said, he flicked Kalpas forehead.

*WHOOOOO*

And sent him flying into a wall.

BAM!

"KALPAS!!"

Some of his friends shouted as they glared at him.

"Don't even try it."

Zero deadpanned.

"Maybe you haven't noticed yet, but I sealed off your powers for the time being."

!!!

"Our...powers?" A green haired woman stared in shock as she tried using her powers.

(Mobius)

"They're really!?"

The group began panicking.

"...Who are you?"

Except for their leader who cautiously addressed the God.

He could tell that this person was not human.

'A Herrscher?' He thought to himself, before shaking that idea out of his head. 'No, this power is beyond even a Herrscher.'

Zero merely sighed.

"Well, can't say I didn't see that one coming." He shook his head. "My name is Zero."

"And I'm a God."

"...WHAT!?"

-One explanation later-

(Let's just say, they also introduced themselves during the explanation)

"...I see."

Kevin just gave him a look of disbelief.

Trying to process everything he was just told.

Gods? Multiverse? Alternate versions of themselves?

'Descendants'

He turned to look at the Kaslanas.

...Who were giving him looks of confusion as well.

'...Old friends?'

He stared at certain other individuals.

And could not hide the flinch in his eyes as he stared at Mei.

'...Reincarnation?' He thought to himself. 'Or the World basically screwing me over for being so single minded in my quest to destroy the Honkai?'

'And here I thought my time in Fire Moth numbed me to this kind of shock.'

(Oh, Kevin. The worst (or best) has yet to come)

"This is ridiculous!"

Kalpas shouted.

"This is just some stupid trick that a Herrscher is pulling!"

Roaring, he charged...again at Zero.

"Kalpas! No!"

A light gray haired, fuchsia eyed boy shouted.

(Su)

"..."

*Step*

BAM!

"ACK!"

Kalpas muffled scream could be heard as he got close and personal with a wall.

Zero having sidestepped him with no effort.

"Dumbass."

Kunikuzushi and Scaramouche deadpanned.

*Sigh*

"Enough." Zero growled. "I didn't bring you here to pick fights with me or anyone else. We're here to watch the damn multiverse.'

"Now...SHUT UP AND TAKE YOUR SEATS!!"

He yelled the last part out.

"ACK!" "Y-YES!" "Okay." "MEEP!"

Everyone sat down.

"But...why did you bring us here in the first place?"

Aponia asked, serenely.

But while she might have charmed the others with her holy aura, Zero and his fellow hosts were not fooled.

They knew just how dangerous she is.

"To see if I can change history for the better." Zero shrugged. "Plus, it should make for some good entertainment for you guys."

"Plus..."

Here, his expression became scary.

"Let's just say that things are going to get interesting, later on."

!?!?

His ominous words sent chills down everyone's spines, especially Kevin.

He did not know why, but he felt it was aimed at him more than anyone else.

Zero chuckled at Kevin uneasy expression.

'Oh, Kevin.' He thought to himself. 'You're going to lose street cred so fast, that you'll make an alcoholic look slow while drinking.'

'Just you wait...after Mondstadt, your world is going to be turned upside down.'

(A certain god and an alternate version of (M/N) snickering in the background)

Kevin violently shivered.

Getting looks of concern from his team as the screen played.

-Angel Share-

"Finally!" Paimon shouted in victory. "The Holy Lyre is back in safe hands."

"What a relief."

Barbara and the other nuns breathed sighs of relief.

Confusing the new group in the theater.

"But is this really going to be helpful in dealing with Dvalin?"

"What were you going to do, anyways?"

Dottore asked.

"Sing him a lullaby?"

"Careful." Dr. Mobius smiled. "Music has quite a way to soothe even the most savage of souls."

"..."

Dottore didn't know why but he felt absolute fear, even interacting with her.

And he was not a saint and was VERY devoted to his research regardless if it broke the laws of safety!

'For me to be fearful of her. She must be a force to be reckon with.'

Dottore thought to himself.

She asked unsure.

"It certainly has seen better days."

(M/N) crossed his arms as everybody stared at the sorry state of the Holy Lyre.

"For a Holy Relic." Sakura Yae frowned. "You certainly don't seem to make sure it's kept in good shape."

The Church members shuffled uneasily at that.

She had a point, after all.

Sighing, Venti explained.

"Although this is indeed the Holy Lyre of Barbatos, a thousand years of inactivity has rendered its Anemo power dry and empty. In this state, it's not even worth trying to play a tune fitting for Diluc's tavern with."

"Rude."

Diluc deadpanned.

"See if I give you anymore Dandelion Wine."

*GASP!!*

"You wouldn't!"

Venti shouted out in fear.

"Try me."

Dliuc said.

"He'll do it." Kaeya warned. "I thought he wasn't serious and I was banned for a year."

*LE GASP!!*

"Oi!" Diluc grunted at that slight. "Bards fight to get a stage at my tavern. Don't make assumptions!"

"It could be better though."

Siegfried sweatdropped.

"I don't care much for glamour and fancy decorations." Diluc stated. "Gives off too much of a pretentious feel to a place that's supposed to be relaxing."

"Makes sense."

Himeko nodded.

"Now's not the time!" Aether and Jean shouted.

"It never is."

Lisa sighed.

"And YOU!" Paimon turned to Venti. "Did you really have us 'borrow' the Holy Lyre to play music for drunks!?"

"MAAAAAAAYBE..."

Venti drawled.

"Lord Barbatos!"

"Ehe..."

"EHE TE NANDAYO!?"

"And here we have an angry child lecturing a god."

Elysia sighed.

"What else is new?"

Lumine rhetorically asked.

"HEY!"

"In any case." Venti continued, holding her old Lyre. "We can't summon Dvalin with it at the moment."

Staring sadly at the Lyre worn down state, she continued: "It's not that the Lyre is useless, but the strings..."

"You're up Aether." (M/N) pushed forward.

"And there (M/N) goes." Kallen shook her head. "Moving the plot along."

"So, that's (M/N)..."

Kevin stared at the male.

'...Strange.' He thought to himself. 'Why do I feel a sense of familiarity with him?'

'I've never seen him before.'

"Ara, Ara." Aponia stared at him. "He's quite handsome."

"Please don't."

Griseo and Kosma deadpanned.

Several people gulped at the look she was giving (M/N).

"Me?" Aether tilted his head, confused on the older male order.

"Yes, you." (M/N) shook his head. "The Holy Lyre is depleted of Anemo energy, we just need to restore it to make it work again."

"And I do believe the purified tear you have is the key."

"He's good."

Jean observed.

"Bingo!"

Venti dinged.

'Well, got nothing to lose.' Aether thought to himself, before grabbing the tear and placing it on the Holy Lyre.

"Really didn't."

Lumine shrugged.

What could they have to lose by doing that?

Worst case scenario, they would just have to find another way.

Flash!

"MY EYES!"

It was a good thing the tavern was empty, or this would have potentially compromised their secret operations with how bright the Lyre glowed.

"It worked, as expected!" Venti cheered.

"This youthful glow..."

"Just with one drop it emits such holy glow."

Aponia smiled.

"I wonder what wonderful music can be played on it?"

Eden smiled.

Jean trailed off, dazzled by the brilliant radiance that the Lyre was emitting by having just one crystal absorbed by it.

"It really is."

Barbara and the nuns, even Rosaria had to admit, said as they gazed at the Holy Relic returning to power once more.

The Mondstadters and several other nations were in awe at the Lyre power.

"Praising yourself, Jean? Really?" Paimon stared at her, unimpressed.

...

WHACK!!

"OW!!"

Paimon shouted.

"Are you an idiot!?"

Kalpas shouted, having been the one to hit the fairy.

"What on earth made you think she was talking about herself?!"

"Well, excuse Paimon for thinking about that!!"

Paimon shouted.

Whack!

"Ow!"

"Oh, come on!"

Paimon shouted.

"REALLY!?"

"Well, what did you expect?"

Tesla shook her head.

"That was a really stupid thing to say!"

"Hey!"

Paimon shouted once more.

"Well, it's true." Cocolia shook her head. "If she was looking at a mirror that would have made some sense. But she was looking at the Lyre when she said that."

"You really are an idiot."

Einstein simply said.

"@$#E%#$^&%$@!!"

Paimon became Berserker Paimon.

"Really Paimon?" Aether deadpanned. "She was referring to the Lyre."

"Yes..." Jean stared at the floating idiot.

"Seriously!?"

"Or in case you haven't noticed, the Lyre is exuding a radiance I've never seen."

"We're still far from done though, aren't we?" Diluc interrupted, before Jean decided to eviscerate Paimon for that comment.

"...It's amazing how Master Diluc is still able to read me like a book."

Jean admitted.

Terrifying everyone else at the fact that she basically admitted she was about to kill Paimon for that comment.

"MEEP!"

"While the Lyre won't lose any more power from the crystal, it's still a long way from complete."

Venti admitted. "We need MOAR! (What the -!? Get back to Spongebob Mr. Krabs!)

"Uhh..."

"Old as hell meme."

Palpatine said.

"As old as Yoda."

He added.

"Throw theater chairs, I will at you." Yoda warned. "Taste of own medicine, you will."

???

"Ooookay?"

Childe blinked.

"Past battle."

The Jedi and the Sith said in unison.

"Ah."

"Grab more of Dvalin tears and have Aether purify them huh?"

"That's the gist of it." Venti nodded, as a sad look crossed her face. "All these years, suffering, alone. That would no doubt drive him to tears."

"Dvalin" – Jean

"Poor guy." – Paimon

"All right, this has gotten to be a bigger operation than expected." Jean said. "I'll mobilize the rest of the knights for assistance."

"That explains why you had us do all that running around."

A KOF realized.

"Couldn't exactly go and tell you guys the purpose of that." Jean admitted, "This was a covert operation and we didn't want to risk interference from certain parties."

The Fatui grumbled at that.

"When a crystal is found, it will immediately be handed over to Aether for purification."

"Right." Aether said, understanding his role.

"Let's go save a nation."

(M/N) smirked.

(Oh, if only you knew this isn't going to be the only time you guys save a nation.)

"...May you all suffer and die."

Lumine growled.

Causing everyone else to sweatdrop and laugh nervously.

"Heroes supporting each other and setting out on a journey together...how exciting!"

Venti giggled: "Lemme come up with a song for you..."

"Ugh! Seriously!?" Paimon shouted: "Is that all you're going to do? Just sing while we do all the hard work?"

"And what exactly are you doing?"

Ahsoka raised an eyebrow.

(What's this "We" stuff? Aether and (M/N) are the ones doing the hard work you freeloader)

"HUH!?" Paimon shouted indignantly. "Paimon is moral support!"

"You need to be combat support." Lumine deadpanned. "You can use him."

She pointed to a startled Thoma.

"As target practice."

"EH!?"

Paimon and Thoma shouted.

"Paimon can't fight!/You didn't ask me!"

Paimon and Thoma shouted.

"Do I care?" Lumine gave them a look.

"Well, I wouldn't be much of a bard if I didn't now, would I OwO?"

"True."

Venti replied, infuriating Paimon.

"Ugh! How cheeky!" Paimon crossed her arms. "Fine! If you're going to be like that Paimon is going to give you an ugly nickname!"

"PAIMON!"

Barbara had a scandalous look on her face.

"Oh, Paimon knows! From now on, you'll be known as Tone-Deaf Bard!"

"...Well." Barbara had a look of uncertainty on her face. "That wasn't as bad as I thought."

'Oh, Paimon.' (M/N) sighed, running a hand through his (H/C) hair in exasperation. 'You're only adding more fuel to the fire.'

"Dumbass."

Arlecchino deadpanned.

After all, Venti didn't care and would most likely turn it in her favor against Paimon.

"GRRRRRRRRRRR!!"

Paimon growled at the fact that no one took her nicknames seriously.

(Sorry, Paimon. But you're just not threatening to them. I remember when she tried giving a samurai an ugly nickname because he, more or less, disrespected the traveler. The man was unfazed and wrote her off as insignificant for trying to use a childish tactic. Paimon can be short tempered at time)

With the objectives clear, everyone prepared for the quest to find the crystals.

-Several quests later now to the winery-

"Well, at least we won't have to go watching the filler arcs."

Su sweatdropped.

FLASH!

The Holy Lyre gave off a powerful burst of light as it was fully rejuvenated.

"It so pretty!"

Klee shouted.

"You can feel the power emanating off of it!"

Mona shouted in disbelief.

"At last." Venti breathed. "The Holy Lyre is now ready to summon Dvalin."

"Where tho?" Jean questioned. "It can't be near the city in case things go south. Perhaps here?"

"While I could fix the winery if it gets destroyed during our confrontation with Dvalin." Diluc spoke. "I would much prefer not to deal with hassle of rebuilding."

"...Just how rich are you to not be concerned about the possible destruction of your house?"

Durandal blinked.

"The answer is: Yes."

Diluc just said.

"That's a good point."

Jean conceded.

"The wind that blows at sea or in high places should be able to carry a bard's words far away." Venti sang. "It's never going to be able to work in places where the air is dry or suffocating."

"So, we need a place that is high enough to breeze through the air the sounds of the Lyre."

Aether mused.

"...Starsnatch Cliff."

(M/N) suddenly said.

"He's good."

Luminara Unduli noted.

"That is one of the highest points of Mondstadt, and the best place away from populated areas."

"Yes" Venti agreed. "That should work."

"Then it's agreed." Jean spoke. "We'll meet there tonight, don't be late."

"Right." "Okay!" "Roger" "Hmph."

-Timeskip to Starsnatch Cliff at night-

"Why night?"

Kanan blinked.

"To avoid any possible interference, Caleb."

His former master, Jedi Master Depa Billaba simply said.

"I don't go by Caleb anymore." Kanan argued. "It's Kanan."

"You will always be Caleb Dume to me."

Depa simply said.

"No amount of being an emo is going to change that."

"I'm not emo!"

He shouted.

Ignoring the Ghost crew lauging at him.

"Right" Venti confirmed. "This is it."

"I'm going to try to summon Dvalin, be ready for anything."

The Anemo Archon in disguise warned, as she summoned the Holy Lyre and began playing on it.

Lumine, Paimon, Jean, Diluc, and Venti sighed.

Barbara was not going to like what happens next.

Varka blinked at that.

'...What's going to happen?'

He thought to himself.

For a few moments, all was silent as Venti strummed her fingers against the Lyre strings.

Then, without warning, Dvalin suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

"So, that's Dvalin."

Otto mused.

'Reminds of her dragon.'

Sending a gust of wind from his arrival, the Dragon of the East lowered himself to face his old friend.

"You have come..." Dvalin spoke, though only Venti and (M/N) could understand him at the moment due to the dragon speaking in a different tongue. "What has been done cannot be undone..."

'Which would have been true, if my sister had not interefered!'

Aehter mentally screamed.

He was so close to having a dragon!

"Then why do I see sadness in your eyes? Sadness that speaks of your yearning for this song..."

Venti sadly asked, staring at her old friend in the eye as Dvalin growled at that truth.

"He tries to deny it."

Beidou sighed.

"But he wishes to hear the songs again."

Everyone else could only stare in amazement at what was happening.

"It is incredible."

A Fontaine native said.

"I don't believe it." Jean stared in wonder at the scene before them. "They are...communicating...Huh?"

???

"What's up?"

Xiangling blinked.

Wondering what caught her attention.

Jean's musings were suddenly cut short as (M/N) quickly leapt into action.

!!!

Crash!

"WHAT THE FUCK!?"

Kalpas and several others shouted in surprise at the unexpected attack.

...

'Sharp.'

Dainsleif noted.

Drawing his sword and striking against a block of Cryo from hitting Venti and the Holy Lyre.

"Wait...is that it was broken when you returned it!?"

Barbara shouted as she realized how the Holy Lyre broke.

"It was what!?"

The nuns and Mondstadters shouted in shock.

"So..." (M/N) coldly growled. "My gut feeling was right; you are behind this madness."

"Abyss Order!"

'DAMN YOU, (M/N)!!!!!!!!'

Aether mentally screamed.

'Why can't anyone just mind their own business?!'

He roared in his head.

A cryo abyss mage appeared from behind Dvalin. As Jean, Aether, and Diluc took up arms at the sight of the abyss mage.

"Do not be fooled by him, dear dragon...He left you to rot alone...Now he attempts to deceive you once more..."

The Abyss Mage lied as naturally as he breathed.

"Maybe he shouldn't breathe at all."

Mobius mused.

"He might make for an interesting test subject."

That terrified them more than they wanted to.

"Barbatos..." Dvalin lowly growled.

'Yes!' Aether cheered. 'Corrupt him!'

"Let your wrath fes-AHHHHHH!!!!"

"WHAT!?"

People shouted at that.

Unknowingly covering Aether own shout of disbelief.

Whatever the Cryo Abyss Mage was going to say was cut off as he suddenly found himself impaled by sharp lance shaped pillars of Hydro impaling him from the mouth to several parts of his body.

"Damn!"

Himeko shouted in shock and disbelief.

"Man got some quick reaction there!"

(M/N) cold (E/C) eyes glaring at the abyss mage with a gaze full of hate.

"I guess knowing the truth doesn't lessen his hate for them."

Kaeya shivered at the cold glare of the male.

"He feels bad for them." Ei simply said. "But that doesn't change the fact that they are willing to harm/kill innocents in their quest for revenge."

"Honestly." Theresa (HI3) sighed. "That makes them no better than the Gods that had destroyed Khaenri'ah."

The Khaenrians flinched at that.

While some people admitting that it felt rather hypocritical of them.

Aether snarling like the little bitch he is.

(I don't know why, but for some reason I'm hearing Beerus theme playing in my head right)

"You spill poison, abyss scum." (M/N) coldly replied.

Right before shredding the poor creatures into pieces. Blood flying everywhere as both the monster and it remains disintegrating into nothing.

"WHOA!!"

People jumped at the quick, yet efficient, brutal death scene.

Shaking his head, he turned to face Dvalin.

(Ignoring the looks of shocks and fear in Paimon case)

Sighing he spoke: "Let us settle this in the ruins of Old Mondstadt. There the truth shall be revealed, and all will be answered."

"Very well." Dvalin agreed. "I shall wait for you at the tower of Decarabian."

"Well, at least things didn't turn out for the worst."

With that, the dragon flew away to his lair.

"Dvalin..." Venti sighed sadly, as she got up.

"Well...at least things went better in that world."

Lumine offered.

"True."

"Barbat-Venti are you okay?" Jean asked.

"Hehe...You've known my true identity for quite some time now, huh?" Venti laughed. "Though, I thank you for continuing to call me Venti."

"You don't really keep that much of a low profile."

Sucrose shook her head at her Archon silliness.

"The Abyss Order." Dliuc growled, arms crossed. "To think that they had something to do with this."

"So, what now?"

"He waits for us at the ruins of Old Mondstadt."

(M/N) said, grabbing everyone's attention.

"When you're ready, we shall head to the temple and let out true feelings be conveyed in battle."

"Well, Paimon thinks that everyone is ready to end this once and for all."

"That's for sure."

Lumine deadpanned.

People shivering as the plot thickens.

"The sooner we finish this, the better it will be for everyone."

Aether said with conviction.

"I agree."

Jean nodded.

"Hmph, I'll be sure to teach the Abyss a lesson or two about their blatant disregard for Mondstadt."

Diluc added his two cents in, as everyone headed to Stormterrors Lair.

-Scene change-

"And here comes the plot twist."

Anakin waved off his hand as the screen slowly pans to an area.

???

They didn't get it.

Except for Aether, who now realizes that he is dead.

On a cliff overlooking the ruins of Stormterror lair, stood a young girl with blond hair, and golden eyes.

"...Huh?"

Lumine blinked.

What was her counterpart doing there?

"Lumine isn't that?"

Paimon couldn't finish her sentence.

Behind her, were two abyss mages bowing before her.

!!!

"Why the hell are creatures from the Abyss bowing to me!?"

Lumine shouted in shock.

The Teyvatians were also confused as well.

Except for certain people.

"...Where is the mage we sent out earlier?" The girl asked, noticing Dvalin flying overhead. "Why hasn't he returned?"

'...UH-OH!!'

Aether was sweating buckets now.

The two mages glanced at each other, before accessing the Abyss web to locate their missing member.

"The Abyss Web?"

Bronya blinked.

"Is that Subject Stupid version of the Internet?"

"Most likely."

Mei nodded.

Only for their eyes to widen behind their masks as they realized that his connection to the Abyss was severed. And that could only mean one thing...

"Your Highness..."

!!!

"Highness...?!"

Many people shouted in shock.

What did they mean by Highness!?

Lumine stared in shock.

Before her eyes widened as she remembered something Kaeya told her.

"The Abyss Order has a Prince."

She remembered.

But if that was the case...THEN!!

"...AETHER..."

Lumine growled.

An ANGRY aura radiating around her as she startled the theater.

"Traveler?"

Xinyan cautiously asked.

"Is something wrong?"

"Oh, nothing." Lumine smiled a scary smile that terrified them. "I just realized where my brother is."

*GULP*

Aether was dead.

One of the abyss mages spoke up. "His connection has been severed, that means he's..."

"No longer in this world." The mage finished.

"GOOOOD."

Razor growled.

"One less evil."

The girl quietly gasped as she heard that. That was not what she was expecting to hear, they should have been shocked at the mages' arrival as he continued to manipulate the dragon to serve them.

"Would have been."

A Natlan shook his head.

"If you hadn't underestimated his friend.

Did she underestimate her brother? But from what she saw his powers were not fully awakened yet to be able to take down an airborne enemy!

(She should have kept a closer watch on her brother friend/mentor. Then, she would have realized how much of a threat he was to her plans)

Gritting her teeth, she commanded: "This mission has failed. No doubt Mondstadt is already on their way here. We're leaving."

Without the cryo abyss mage to continue subtly manipulating the dragon to their side, there was no point now.

...And she had the feeling that the dragon would attack them onsite the moment he saw them.

"Oh, yeah."

'Aether...forgive me brother.'

!?

"Is...is that!?"

Fischel shouted out.

The mysterious figure turned, revealing herself to be:

(Lumine 'Princess of the Abyss' ...and confirmed idiot thinking she (Or he, depending on which sibling you play as) needs to deal with Teyvat problems herself. No wonder the Sustainer said what she said in the beginning)

"LUMINE!?"

They could not hide their shock.

Their friend was leading the Abyss Order in that world!?

"I knew it!!" Lumine got to her feet. "I was right the moment I saw this scene! If I'm the leader there, then that means!"

"...No!"

Paimon eyes widened.

"Are you saying that your brother is!?"

"YES!!"

Lumine shouted.

"Remember what Kaeya said? About there being a Prince leading the Abyss Order? If this is following closely to our world, then that means that Aether is!!"

"The Abyss Prince." Dainsleif nodded. "Yes, you are correct."

!!!!

"AEETTTHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

Lumine roared with righteous anger!!

"Where are you!?"

'...Meep!'

"He's over there."

Zero shamelessly outed him out.

"FUCK YOU!!"

Aether screamed in horror as Lumine charged at him.

"Get back here, asshole!"

Lumine roared as she grabbed his braid and swung him to the ground.

BAM!

Leaving a nice imprint on the floor.

"How fucking dare you!?"

Lumine shouted.

"I've been looking for you for months! And you had the audacity to not even let me know that you were okay!?"

"And to even go and get caught up in this world problems!?"

"Don't interfere Lumine!" Aether managed to get out as Lumine violently slammed his head to the ground. "I can't go! Not until the thrones have been toppled!"

"Forget about whatever plan you have in mind!" Lumine shouted.

"Celestia must pay!" Aether shouted back. "Don't you see how they're controlling Teyvat!?"

"And you saw what they did to Khaenri'ah! Why are you against your own brother!?

"You think I'm going to be sympathetic after you abandoned me for a stupid quest for revenge!?"

Lumine shouted.

!!!

"I didn't abandon you!" He shouted. "I've been keeping an eye on you while I continue my fight with Destiny!"

"It doesn't matter!" Lumine snarled. "You put a world that we're not a part of, over our bonds and are willing to hurt innocent people! That's not the Aether I remembered!"

"Sacrifices have to be made, sister!"

Aether shouted.

"Shut up!" Lumine screamed. "Do you really think you could sway me with words!?"

Pierro and Dainsleif just stared at the scene before them.

Deciding they were better off not getting involved in the sibling spat.

While the rest of Teyvat chose not to interfere as Lumine broke her brother back.

The HI3 cast just watched with amusement.

"You can kill him later, Lumine."

Zero simply said.

"Right now, we should get back."

"FINE!!"

Lumine let him go as she went back to her seat.

*Grind* *Grind*

While sharpening her heels.

"...Are you okay, my Prince?"

The Abyss Herald asked.

"...Medic."

Aether cried.

The Outlander thought to herself as she and her followers left.

-Timeskip to our heroes breaking the barrier and arriving at the front gate, while Venti explains more in detail about Old Mondstadt-

"Wow!" Paimon shouted. "That gate is big! But...Dvalin bigger, how does he walkthrough that gate?"

"Flying overhead?" Keqing gave her a look. "Maybe having a human form and walking through it?"

"Why do you ask such stupid questions?"

"Paimon just curious!"

"He doesn't walk, he flies." Venti explained.

"Oh...Right." Paimon sheepishly said, embarrassed that she forgot that one important detail.

"You would definitely not make it as an architect."

Kaveh sighed.

"HEY!"

-Timeskip to getting to the final level of the damn puzzle quest because I am lazy. Along with added commentary from Venti mocking Paimon stating the obvious talent, Diluc and Jean not looking at each other, and Aether wanting to get this over with while (M/N) just calmly pets his head reassuringly-

"Aw!" Lumine smiled. "Aether really is a doggy to him."

"...Fu...ck...yo...u"

Aether weakly gave her the middle finger.

'He's just asking to be killed.'

World Serpent/Fire Moth thought to themselves.

"We're here." Diluc stated as they approached the highest platform of the tower.

"Finally! Paimon tired!"

"You fly, how can you be so easily tired?" Aether deadpanned in annoyance at Paimon complaining.

"Hey! Flying takes more energy than Paimon makes it look, ok!"

"You certainly don't show it, comrade!"

Childe simply says.

"Well, it does!"

"So, it's here we must fight Dvalin Venti?"

Jean questioned the Anemo Archon, who nodded her head.

"Yes." She said. "How ironic that this place will once again be the battlegrounds that will determine Mondstadt fate and Dvalin as well."

"...Dvalin."

Venti sighed.

"Mondstadt is a romantic city, without the reign of a king. Of course, it's not without its flaws, but I honestly preferred that over a 'perfect' city where freedom isn't expressed in a variety of ways. Its citizens enjoy that freedom the most among the seven nations."

"I hope Dvalin will be able to understand this once more once we free him. No one should have deceived him by telling him that Mondstadt betrayed him. And no one should have told him that it was his eternal duty to protect the city."

Here, Mondstadt flinched.

"He has the right and freedom to choose his own way of life."

(And people wonder why some of us would rather be sucked into a fantasy world, than stay here.)

...

"...Venti" Paimon said sadly.

"Anyways!" Venti brightened up. "Like last time, I will channel Anemo energy for you."

"SO, it was YOU." Aether spoke, happy that his question was finally answered.

"Kind of obvious."

"Let's go."

(M/N) said, solidly. Ready to bring an end to all this.

"Right." Venti said. "Let's bring a lost child back home."

Strumming the strings of her Lyre.

"Turning winds that nurture life into winds that speak of adventure doesn't sound bad to me." She hummed. "The fate of Dvalin rests in your hands, so take good care of him, alright?"

Using the power of Anemo they landed on the rooftop of the ruined tower. Dvalin waiting for them, as they did so.

"Well, at least he has manners."

Cecelia offered.

"Unlike Kiana."

Siegfried laughed.

BAM!

"ACK!"

"Deadweight father!"

Kiana kicked him.

Roar!

Roaring, Dvalin flew towards them. Raising a claw, he slammed it down on them.

"Look out!"

Donna shouted in fear.

Clang!

Only for Diluc to block with his claymore -Wolf's Gravestone.

"Oh, thank Barbatos!"

Pushing it back, the dragon was startled for a few moments. Giving Venti the opportunity to hit the corrupt crystals on his back.

"Where's the popcorn?"

Otto looked around.

Roaring in pain, he unleashed a powerful blast of Anemo upon them.

"WHOA!!"

Many people shouted as they felt the energy radiating from that attack.

This time, Jean unleashed her elemental burst and blocked it with a shield.

"So, that's why Jean is in charge when Grandmaster Varka goes out."

Bennett blinked.

It wasn't often one had the opportunity to witness Acting Grandmaster Jean in action.

Elin idol worship grew at that.

While this was happening, (M/N) sent forward chains made of Hydro to trap the dragon and hold him down.

"...Why did we never think about that?"

Various Hydro Users said out loud.

Talk about ingenious!

"Now!" (M/N) shouted.

Aether leaped into action as he violently swung his sword against the crystals. Trying his best to ignore Dvalin screeching in pain every time a hit landed on the crystals.

"Ohhh!"

Mobius winced.

"That can't have been pleasant."

Letting out a mighty roar, he broke free of the chains and took off into the sky.

"Traveler!" Venti shouted. "This is where you must do this alone!"

"No pressure."

Lumine sarcastically said.

Nodding, Aether flew into the air with his wind glider activated as Venti kept him airborne.

"Listen Traveler!" Venti shouted in his head. "You must focus your attacks on the crystals where the source of the corruption is taking root! It appears to be poisonous blood clots of sort, and most likely how the Abyss Order has been manipulating him!"

Poor dragon."

Kiana shook her head in sympathy.

"You think we can charge the Abyss Order with animal abuse?"

She asked.

"That's...a good idea."

Lumine smirked.

"Hey!" Aether shouted. "What about what you did to him!?"

"It wouldn't have happened if you didn't try to attack him in the first place."

Columbina smiled.

"No respect!"

Aether shouted.

"You want respect?" Sandrone deadpanned. "Work for it."

"ARGHHH!"

"Destroy them and we can end this!"

Nodding, Aether fired a barrage of concentrated Anemo energy at the crystasl.

He was able to land a few hits even though it wasn't enough. Dvalin then fired off his own attacks at him, causing Aether to quickly dodge and circle around the bullets aimed at him.

"Of course, it won't be that easy."

Rita shook her head in amusement.

This was quite the entertainment.

"Dvalin trying to get away...but he still using his old tactics so that makes it easier." Venti said. "I'll try to extract and condense Pure Anemo and use it to accelerate your speed. Be careful though, he'll try to hide them in a cluster of Anemo."

"Oy vey."

The Star Wars cast was getting flashbacks.

Anakin felt annoyed for some reason.

With new vigor, Aether navigated through the storm and hit the right currents. Getting closer to Dvalin, he concentrated a powerful blast of Anemo from his hand. Blasting it at one of the clots, he succeeded in destroying it for good.

"You are just as reckless as Anakin."

Obi Wan Kenobi groaned.

"HEY!"

Anakin shouted.

Dvalin roared in pain from the destruction of the crystal, though he could feel his mind getting clear.

"It's working!"

A Youngling shouted.

"Forgive me, Dvalin." Venti said remorsefully. "But just hang on a little longer."

Growling, Dvalin once more took to the top of the temple. Sending blasts of Anemo energy bullets to the platforms.

"Ah! This is Dvalin trump card: Caelestinum Finale Termini!" Venti said, as the platforms cracked and began glowing.

"...Um."

"Is now really the time to be giving his attacks names?"

"Seriously?"

Sara Kujou deadpanned.

"Yep!"

Venti smiled.

(M/N) deadpanned.

"Yes"

"Seriously Venti!?"

Paimon shouted as Dvalin landed in front of them. Aether having landed a few seconds ago.

"Barbatos will always be Barbatos."

Zhongli and Ei (both versions)

Just said in fond exasperation.

The normal people decided to just leave it be.

"On your guard everyone!" Diluc shouted as Dvalin began to viciously swipe and bite at them.

Dodging/attacking/blocking and defending against the dragon, they were finally able to secure victory as Venti released a powerful arrow infused of Anemo. At the same time, Aether infused his sword with pure Anemo energy as well, before jumping plunging down onto the crystal.

The two attacks worked, as the final clot was destroyed.

"They did it!"

The Mondstadters yelled in triumph.

However, the battle had caused too much damage as the platforms collapsed.

"OH NO!"

(OH YEAH!)

"Woah!" "Not good!" "Wah!"

'Crap! Am I going to have to reveal my true self?!'

!!!

"YES!"

Several people screamed.

"Do IT!"

ZAP!

"Ack!"

"That's my line!"

Palpatine shouted.

(M/N) thought frantically, he, Aether, and Venti could survive the fall. But Jean and Diluc were an entirely different matter, being only human.

But before he could make a decision, Dvalin suddenly swooped down under before they fell onto his back.

"Aw, man!"

Many people shouted in despair.

When will they learn the truth!?

The dragon flying them out of the ruins and back to Mondstadt.

"It's been a while since we flew like this together, huh Dvalin?"

Venti said.

"Just now...why...why did you not ask me to protect you like the last time?" Dvalin questioned.

"Because he's Venti and he likes to vent."

Nahida giggled.

???

"Eh?"

Her counterpart and Sumeru scholars were confused.

As was Teyvat.

While Lumine (and Aether to an extent since he's still recovering from getting his ass kicked by his angry sister) silently laughed at that.

Sighing, Venti simply said: "Me not wanting you to listen to the Abyss Order doesn't mean that you have to listen to me. Freedom that is demanded of you from an Archon really isn't freedom at all."

"Do you understand, now?"

Ei gave Mondstadt citizens a look.

"What Barbatos is saying? About what Freedom truly means?"

"...We do."

Quinn said.

The others nodding.

While the Fatui were steaming that they couldn't show off and prove that they were the reputation they were boasting.

Sorry, but the only ones that are worth of note are the Harbingers.

With that said, Anemo energy condensed into a ball fell from Venti hand and absorbed into Dvalin very being.

"This is...your power? But I'm no longer a part of the Four Winds."

"Who says, OWO."

Venti OWO at the screen.

"...Bruh."

"Even so, you still protected Mondstadt regardless of your status. Now old friend, spread your wings of freedom and go with my blessing."

'Hmph, you never change Barbatos.'

"And he never will."

Master Splinter mused.

(M/N) thought to himself, before a frown, unseen by the others, made its way to his face.

'Our time in Mondstadt is almost over, and with no clues to Aether missing sister's whereabouts. If memory serves me well, the next destination is...'

"Liyue."

Ninnguang looked intrigued at that.

What storms will they bring with them, she wonders.

'...Liyue.'

Sigh, it seems that he could not keep running from his past anymore.

"So..." Zhongli frowned. "We'll finally get to the truth."

"It would seem so."

Moon Carver nodded.

"But one must wonder who he really is."

Cloud Retainer frowned.

"We'll see soon enough."

Xiao said.

'Let's hope things don't turn out ugly.'

"..."

"Fuck. You. Guys."

Lumine gritted her teeth.

With or without a (M/N), she was bound to be cursed to have to deal with other nation problems.

The male thought to himself, he was not looking forward to meeting with old acquaintances again.

Shaking his head out of those dreary thoughts, he simply smiled and enjoyed the breeze brushing against his face.

'Oh well, what happens, happens. Whatever storm we encounter in Liyue, I know we will overcome them.'

"That's for sure."

Zero smirked as he gave Kevin a side glance.

Actually managing to terrify the male.

He thought firmly to himself.

The rest of the trip was spent in blissful silence, as the group marveled at the view from the sky.

All the way back to Mondstadt.

"Well!" Zero paused it there. "We'll take a break there."

"I know some of you have unfinished business to take care of."

"RIGHT!"

Lumine remembered as she snapped her neck to Aether direction.

"DIE!"

She lunged at her brother.

"EEEEEEEHHHH!!!"

Who screamed like a girl and ran for his life.

"Abyss!" He shouted. "Save me!"

"At once, my Pri-BAM!"

The Abyss Herald could not finish his sentence as he was side kicked, in the face, to a wall.

"...Pretty birdies."

He dizzily said.

"..."

The other Abyss creatures side stepped and let Lumine pass through to her brother.

"TRAITORS!!"

He screamed in fear.

"GET BACK HERE!!"

Lumine screamed.

"AAAHHHH!!"

Aether ran for his life as he heard the whistle of Death!

"..."

Everyone just kept their mouths shut.

"Let's eat."

Zero shrugged as they started leaving.

Only for everyone to turn their heads when Lumine shouted.

"Take THIS!!"

*CRAAAAAACCCCCCCKKK!!!!!*

"EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!"

Aether gave off a high pitched scream as Lumine slammed her very sharp high heels into his nuts.

...He's lucky that the theater will heal that wound.

"FOOD!"

Kaeya quickly ran.

Getting PTSD from witnessing that scene.

Everyone else agreed and headed out as Lumine continued beating her brother up.

Done.

Took me longer than I wanted to finish this, but I finally got it done.

Brought new members and Aether got punished.

Dvalin is saved and next chapter will wrap up Mondstadt.

Oh, and one last thing.

Have a good day/night!
