The sound of squeals overtook the room, accompanied only by the gentle sound of another's laughter.

Wooyoung had had dragged San back to his house that day, deciding it was time to test having his boyfriend over while his parents were home. The two currently found themselves in Wooyoung's room, where a joke gone wrong had resulted in a tickle fight.

San was winning at the moment, having Wooyoung pinned down to his bed and showing no mercy to the younger.

"Stopp! Stop, I'm dying," Wooyoung protested, trying to shove San off of him despite being weak from laughter. The elder reluctantly obliged, a smile on his face from the other's reaction.

"Do you guys want any snack..." the sound of a woman's voice startled the both, who looked over to see Wooyoung's mother standing in the doorway.

A blank look washed over her face as she took in the sight of her son being pinned down on the bed by San.

She shut the door at the speed of light, disappearing from the couple's view.

San nearly burst out into laughter.
"She looked so startled oh goD, what have I done?" he said, struggling to hold back a giggle.

Wooyoung looked somewhere between amused and mortified. "She's probably thinking like 'Oh god my son is no longer a virgin.'," he commented, giving San evil ideas.

Deciding to mess with his boyfriend, San tightened his grip on the boy's arms. "You wanna prove her right?" he said in the flirtiest voice he could muster.

Wooyoung stared up at him with wide eyes, unable to form a single word. The flushed expression nearly killed San on the spot.

"Fuck, I need water, this is too funny," San said, climbing off of Wooyoung and standing up, wandering over to the door. He struggled to even turn the handle through his fits of laughter.

"San!" Wooyoung said out of both exasperation and annoyance. San paid no mind to this, wandering out into the hallway. Wooyoung slid off the bed, hurrying to follow behind him.

"I should've taken a picture of you, I've never seen you so startled aHAHA," San spoke, amused, reaching into his pocket for his phone as if to make a point.

San paused upon not locating the object in his pocket. He calmly checked the other ones, all of which proved to be empty.

"Hey, uh, Wooyoung, have you seen me use my phone since we got here?" San questioned, seeing a confused look on the other's face.

"No, why?" Wooyoung replied, stopping next to San in the middle of the hallway.

"...You sure it's not in your room or something?" San asked, receiving only a curt nod from Wooyoung in response. "Shit," San muttered, rethinking all of his actions that day.

"Can't find your phone??" Wooyoung asked, a look of worry having spread to his expression as well.

"Yeah, I probably left it at school or something... god, I'm such an idiot!" San spoke as a panic began to set in.

"Hey, it's okay! Someone probably put it in the lost and found or something. If you want I can help you find it tomorrow," Wooyoung offered, taking San's hand in his and gently squeezing it. A small smile rose onto San's face despite his inner worry.

"Okay..." he gave in, knowing he couldn't explain to Wooyoung just why he was so worried. He decided to just hope for the best, and shoved his anxious thoughts in the back of his mind.

The pair scurried downstairs to the kitchen, a comfortable silence between them as they walked through the rooms. Neither of Wooyoung's parents were present for the time being, with Wooyoung's mom having retreated to her bedroom.

San poured himself a glass of water while Wooyoung hopped up on the counter, swinging his legs as he waited.

After drinking an amount that he deemed sufficient, he set the glass next to the sink, then padding over to where his boyfriend sat on the counter.

"Come here," Wooyoung beckoned, San gladly obeying and finding himself standing between Wooyoung's legs. Wooyoung, satisfied, reached forward as to drape his arms over San's shoulders.

Much to San's surprise, Wooyoung leaned forward, placing a light kiss on the corner of San's mouth.

"Woo...! Your parents are here," San whispered, glancing nervously around the area. The pair were still alone, thankfully.

Wooyoung rolled his eyes, a smile still on his face. "They won't know if we stay quiet," he said, leaning forward with the clear intention of kissing the elder.

San placed a finger on Wooyoung's lips as to hold him back, turning to stare at the entrance to the kitchen.

"I swear I hear someone moving over there," San insisted, pointing to the area which still had no motion.

"Honey, you're crazy," Wooyoung responded, taking hold of San's chin and gently turning San's face towards his own.

"Besides, don't you think we were rudely interrupted earlier?" he said, a look on his face that made San's resolve begin to falter.

"I mean... I do, but..." San said, biting his lip in anxiousness, unsure of how to proceed from here.

"Aren't you the one who joked about banging someone on the counter? It's your time to shine, baby," Wooyoung said, tipping San's chin up with an index finger. San looked as if his soul left his body at that moment.

Wooyoung burst into laughter at San's absolutely wrecked state.

"I'm kidding! That's what you get for earlier," Wooyoung teased, reminding San of the similar stunt he'd pulled on the bed upstairs. San pouted.

"Hey," was all he could say, trying to calm his adrenaline that had decided to rush into action. Wooyoung smiled smugly at his boyfriend's current state.

A silence fell as the seconds ticked by, the two remaining in their close position, confused of what to do next. Wooyoung, with his arms still draped around San's neck, began lightly tapping a rhythm on the boy's back.

"Hey Woo?" San said quietly, the other boy murmuring a "hm?" in reply as San placed his hands on his waist.

"I love you."

Wooyoung's face went blank upon processing what he'd heard. He opened his mouth to speak, but found himself unable to form a sentence.

Instead he pulled San into his arms, holding the boy tightly against him. San returned the hug, feeling Wooyoung needed it.

"Oh god... I love you so much," Wooyoung whispered, noticing the way San's grip tightened at the sound.

"You wanna go back upstairs?" San eventually said, beginning to get a bit anxious in their present setting out in the open. Wooyoung slowly nodded, pulling away from San.

"Help me get down," Wooyoung demanded, knowing fully well he could hop off the counter himself. San, playing along, gladly obliged in picking up his boyfriend and gently placing him down on the floor.

The two strolled towards the doorway of the kitchen, not noticing the sound of heavy footsteps in the hallway.

A tall man appeared in the hall just as the pair reached the door, both stepping back as to allow him through.

"Oh, dad..." Wooyoung said nervously. San couldn't help but stare at the man, a tired yet stern demeanor surrounding him. It occurred to him that he'd never seen Wooyoung's father before; and this man didn't match up to his imagination.

The father barely spared the two a glance before walking past them into the kitchen, not even bothering to greet them. Wooyoung didn't like this silence, and began hurrying down the hall, gripping San by the arm.

"He's not usually this quiet, fuck," Wooyoung muttered as San accompanied him back up the stairs. San glanced behind them, as if checking to make sure no one was listening.

"Hey, he can't pull anything if I'm here, yeah? Don't worry about it," San comforted, gently ruffling Wooyoung's hair.
That seemed to somewhat quell the other's anxiousness, thus putting the thought to rest as they reached Wooyoung's room.

Regaining some cheer, Wooyoung pulled San into the room, shutting the door once more.

They both knew that nothing could really keep them apart.
