Chapter Eight
~Y/N POV~
(FOURTEEN YEARS OLD)
Dr Sun and I rushed towards the medical unit to the back of the building where we heard that Jungkook had been taken. The two of us were in his office talking about my apparent gift. Only recently did I tell Dr Sun that I can see the dead because its getting overwhelming that not only can I see the girls now but also a few others that have lost their lives through accidents in this place.
Some look normal to the eye and others not so much.
Kyong told me she calls them creepers when I last spoke to her so I told Dr Sun that and he seemed very interested in it all. In fact our conversation was going too well until Dr Sun was called about Jungkook's blow up and I insisted on coming with him.
I just knew in the pit of my stomach that something was wrong.
But here I am now, sitting on a chair in the corner of the room while Dr Sun spoke to one of the nurses that was checking Jungkook over, impatiently waiting to hear what he has to say because I know Dr Sun will. He always does.
Fiddling with my fingers, not even taking my eyes off Jungkook's sleeping form on the bed, I just wanted to run over to him and check him myself and that was exactly what I did. No longer being able to resist it I walk over while Dr Sun had his back to me and came to stand by his side of the bed. He looked peaceful sleeping with his eyes closed and breathing softly.
Although I didn't like the bruise forming on his forehead nor did I like the red hand marks on his shoulders that were showing through his white vest. They must of removed his t-shirt to see what damage was done. Hoseok really did let it rip on him when it came to using his electrical power.
But why would Hoseok do that?
I'm sure I'll find out from either Jungkook or Dr Sun who was too busy still talking to the nurse.
While he was doing that I gently placed my hand over Jungkook's forehead, attached my focus to his bruise that I didn't like and made sure to ease that pain and make it vanish under my touch. Now with a smile on my face to see it gone, I removed my hand just to place on top of his laying by his side on the bed.
Should I do his shoulders too?
I should, shouldn't I.
Reaching out to his shoulders, I needed to heal him to get rid of that pain and marks from him. Gently placing my palms to his red irritated skin and healed him from the burning sensation. Still in his unconscious state he breathed out a breath of air from his parted lips and I took that as a good sign his body was no longer fighting off the injuries he had on him. He's all good now.
"I expected you would heal him." Dr Sun
I flinched back from the bed when I heard his voice now standing by my side. Looking up at him he looked down at me with a smile and then sat down on the spare chair beside the bed.
"Of course I would. He was injured. You don't happen to know why do you?"
Dr Sun's smile never faded and crossed his left leg over the right.
"The nurse kept me up to date." Dr Sun
"Well then, what happened?"
"It so happens that Taehyung got into Jungkook's head and let's just say it caused Jungkook to loose his temper and almost kill Taehyung in the process. Hoseok took him down and Namjoon knocked him out." Dr Sun
I hummed and turned back around, taking Jungkook's hand again.
A part of me feels angry they did that to him when Taehyung started it and that doesn't shocked me. He blames me for Aera's death, I know he does. Then the other part is relieved that they did otherwise Jungkook would be in big trouble if he killed Taehyung. He may of been taken away and I may of never seen him again.
It's 50/50, really.
"But now that you healed him, he's good to go back to your room when he wakes up." Dr Sun
I nodded and said nothing. Nothing comes to mind to say.
Since Aera passed, it's hard to be myself when I haven't got those girls with me. It helps that I see them around as ghost but they're still dead. They try to help me with my thoughts but it doesn't really work. Jungkook is the only one that keeps me going and Dr Sun too. He's like my dad in this place and believe it or not but Dr Choi is like my creepy uncle sort of thing. But I've found lately that Dr Choi has grown more of an interest in me. Mostly present whenever Dr Sun goes through tests with me and examinations. Watching my like a hawk and even taking notes which I never really noticed him doing it before.
I'm still not too sure about Dr Choi though.
"There is something else I must tell you Y/n. A decision has been made and it wasn't mine to be made." Dr Sun
This peeked my interest and I turned around to face him but still held Jungkook's hand in mine.
"The board?"
His bosses.
Three of them to be exact.
Whatever they say, has to go. No matter what.
Dr Sun nods at my words, sitting up straight in the chair and picking at his nails on his right hand.
"What did they say?"
"Starting next week you'll be with the boys during schooling hours and training. Not decision I must press. I advised against it but they believe otherwise." Dr Sun
My jaw dropped at him, totally in disbelief about it.
"But they hate me! I can't be with them, how knows what will happen!"
Again he nods and stand up, placing his shoulder to my shoulder and coming to stand to my side.
"I know but I doubt this young man here will let anything bad happen. Or it might not be as bad as we think." Dr Sun
I hummed, turning my head so I could watch Jungkook's sleeping form. I like watching him sleep, it soothes me.
"Maybe. As long as I stay away from Taehyung though. I think I'll me okay. Maybe."
I mumbled the last part to which he nods.
"We'll see Y/n. We'll see." Dr Sun
That we will. I dread it, but I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.
