Sunburst sat next to Seafoam, fidgeting nervously with her tail. She was tense and stiff and nervous. Seafoam must have felt it, because he put a wing around her. Sunburst relaxed instantly. Her boyfriend had that effect on her. She leaned into him. "Nervous about your mom, huh?" He asked, but it was more of a rhetorical question. Sunburst nodded anyway. "I'm just a little nervous about how she'll react. I mean, she'll probably be happy, but I dunno." Seafoam hugged her tight. "You'll be alright." He said. "Meanwhile, I haven't told my dad, and Mom hasn't told him either." Sunburst thought for a sec. "Tsunami? And Riptide." Seafoam nodded. Sunburst nudged him. "You'll be alright." She teased. Seafoam grinned at her. Sunburst kissed him, twining their tails. "I gotta go." Seafoam said when Tsunami started calling him. "I think my dads here." Sunburst pecked his cheek. "Bye." She said. He smiled at her. Then he ran off towards where his mother's voice. Sunburst was still feeling warm and fuzzy from being with Seafoam when she was tackled by a bundle of red and green. She laughed as she fell, landing on her back with two tiny dragonets on her stomach. "Hi Sunburst!!" Cried Kiwi, jumping up and down on her sister. Firefly was just sitting. Sunburst mock growled at them, then sat up so the went tumbling off. "You two are getting big!" She said, wrapping her brother and sister in a hug. Glory and Deathbringer came in more slowly, walking together. "Hi Mom." Sunburst said, going to hug Glory. "Hi Dad." Glory hugged her tight. "We've missed you!" Said Glory, planting a kiss on her daughter's forehead. "I've missed you too." Sunburst replied. She went over to hug Deathbringer. He smiled at his daughter warmly. "Hey, Bug." He said. Kiwi bounced over. "Who was that dragon you were kissing?" She asked. Sunburst felt her face grow warm. She was certain she was red horns to tail. "I, well, um, I-" Glory just laughed. Sunburst relaxed, twining tails with her mother and father. Seafoam came trotting over a minute later, tailed by a little Seawing dragonet. Sunburst smiled at her boyfriend, though she was sure she looked nervous. "Who's this?" She asked. Seafoam smiled. "This is my little sis, Kelp." He said. Sunburst smiled at Kelp. Kelp smiled back, then growled a little and pounced on Kiwi. Kiwi yelped. She wasn't used to being down. So she took it as a challenge and started a little dragonet sparring match with Kelp. Glory nodded at Seafoam. "Who's this?" She asked. Sunburst choked on her words for a second. "This is Seafoam. He's in my winglet." Glory nodded. Seafoam gave her an encouraging smile. Kiwi grinned. "He's your boyfriend, right?" Once again, Sunburst was red all over. Even Seafoam blushed. Glory smiled. "I like him. You chose a good one." She whispered to her daughter. Sunburst shook her head. Going to sit by Seafoam, she leaned into him a little. He nudged her. "Wanna come meet my dad?" Sunburst almost said no, not wanting an awkward situation again. But she went anyway. She twined their tails along the way. Riptide was waiting for them. Tsunami and Kelp were talking to Glory and Deathbringer and Firefly and Kiwi. Sunburst pulled her tail from Seafoams. Riptide looked amused. "I saw that, you know." He said. Seafoam grinned. "I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Sunburst." He said. Riptide gave her a warm smile. "Nice to meet you, Sunburst." Sunburst smiled. "You too."Seafoam tapped her with a wing. "See? That wasn't so bad." He said. Sunburst just rolled her eyes. Then she planted a quick kiss on his lips before running off towards her parents. Glory looked even more amused than Riptide had. "I saw that." She said. Sunburst rolled her eyes again. Glory looked pleased. "Looks like you inherited some of my attitude." She said. Sunburst grinned. "Yeah?" Glory hugged her. Deathbringer came over. "Time to go." He said. "You've got classes." Sunburst hugged her parents and siblings one last time before they left. "See you at the end of the year!" She called. Then she went back to the winglet cave and got out a scroll and inkpot. Seafoam came in. "Whatcha doing?" Sunburst went over to him, twining their tails. "Well, I was trying to draw like you do. But mine looks more like a trampled elephant." Seafoam laughed, tilting his head to the side to look at her drawing. He snorted. Sunburst glared. Seafoam laughed again. Then he guided Sunbursts claw across the page. Sunburst just leaned into him, enjoying his ocean smell. "I love you, you know that?" She said. He smiled. Then he kissed her. "I love you more."
