Deep within Japanese countryside showed a highschool girl in a blue uniform was shown bicycling towards an old wooden bus stop to met up with her friends. Soon a bus is shown driving down the rood surrounded by beautifully bloomed cherry blossom trees. Within the bus showed a young woman holding a yellow envelope for new students while looking outside.

Y/n: 'My name is Y/n Aono. I'm 15 years old. Starting this spring, I was gonna be a fresh eyed highschool student. At least that was the plan but my bad immune system never gives me a break sadly.'

Back in Middle school then at home.

In the teacher's offices is shown Y/n Aono finishing up the last of her late entrance exams for highschool that she missed when sick in the hospital. She gave her exams to be graded but was sadly rejected due to her poor health alone before heading home with a fake smile on her face but her parents knew better.

Mom: "Y/n! Y/n, sweetie come here!" She shouted out for her daughter whom walked into the room in a black cat earred onesie and bat slippers.

Y/n: "Yes, momma?" She questioned only to be greeted by her mother in tears, happy tears as her mom hugged her close. Y/n looked over at her father whom looked smugly satisfied beside her college attending brother.

Mom: "Isn't this great news, Y/n?" She questioned while kissing her baby girl's head then hands her a new student information envelope as her dad explained how he had gotten it.

Y/n: "Daddy, did you pick this up from the street!" She squealed out in pure shock while her older brother Tsukune walked towards her worried.

Dad: "Now, our little girl can go to highschool and then college!" He shouted out happily while a sweat drop sagged on Y/n's forehead.

Present Day

The girl softly sighed remembering her parents happy faces and brother's encouragement. When Y/n Aono was born into this world prematurely thus always making her sick in the worse of times, yes she was happy that this school was accepting a student like her with her conditions even would give her frequent check ups in the nurse's office to make sure that she was healthy and safe. The young woman was in her own world until the bus driver's voice caught her attention a bit.

Driver: "Are you the new student heading for Yokai Academy, young lady?" The bus driver spoke up as a young girl looked up while the man drove down the road.

The young woman was wearing the uniform of her new highschool: Yokai Academy: A crisp white dress shirt, a sea foam green blazer trimmed with white, a olive and beige plaid skirt, navy black knee sockets and cute black loafers. Her red tie was decorated with a cute chubby brown bat holding a cross in it's wings clip. Her long h/c hair swayed behind her shoulder to show her bright e/c eyes.

Y/n: "Yes sir, honestly I'm a bit nervous." She said honestly while twiddling her fingers a bit. "I'm happy though that the Academy accepted a sickly girl like me. Even the headmaster said that I won't have any trouble with studies." She said honestly before looking over at the passing scenery of the countryside.

Driver: "Just keep your wits bout you, young lady this school isn't for the faith of heart. Yokai Academy is one scary ass school." He said seriously as Y/n looked over at him in confusion.

Y/n: "Huh? What do you mean sir?" She asked while her phone rang out to see her older brother Tsukune was calling her. "Hello, Big brother, how are you?" She said smiling happily. Growing up sickly and mostly bedridden her brother was one of her main influences to do well in school and never give up even when he went to college. "Tsu, I'll be alright. I've got my medicine and snacks just in case." She said while listening to her brother worrying over her til the line went dead suddenly. "Huh? Tsukune? Are you there, hello?" The girl sighed softly before placing her phone into her blazer pocket as the bus driver dropped her off at the bus stop, her eyes widened seeing it was a jack o lantern scarecrow then looked aside to see a huge building in the distance surrounded by the kind of forest one would see in horror films.

Driver: "Good luck, young lady and be careful here. Trust me, your gonna need all the luck you can get." He said before driving off as Y/n waved him off. "That girl is either gonna die on the first day or succeed here." He thought as Y/n started walking into the forest.

Y/n held out her cell in one hand taking pictures of the forest with a smile on her face as her other hand held her school bag. Her eyes wondering from the tombstones and red eyed crows in the trees

Y/n: "Yokai Academy really sticks with the horror and supernatural theme, it's so cool." She said to knowingly herself til she heard squeaking behind her shoulder. "What's that sound?" She looked over her shoulder seeing nothing and shrugged til something soft landed on her head. "Huh?" Y/n set down her bag and pocketed her cell before reaching upwards to remove what was sitting on her head to see a bat?

A cute, soft and chubby lite brown bat with purplish black wings and a tiny pink nose. The creature looked at Y/n squeaking in a cutesy way making the girl giggle.

Y/n: "Aw, your so cute. Were you the squeaking that was behi--" Her words were cut off by a sudden burst of pain hitting her back. "Kya!" She shouted out as the bat flew above her head.

The young girl was slammed onto ground alongside whom accidentally slammed into her back holding them close til the girl hissed in discomfort before flinching when a dark blue bicycle landed onto the ground ahead of the two on the ground.

Y/n: "Ow, ow, ow. What hit me?" She questioned while moving her hands to rubbing her forehead lightly before slowly opening up her eyes to see someone was face first on her chest as well seeing they wore the male uniform of Yokai Academy. A pink haired boy was laying on top of her, face down on her breasts and he wasn't even moving.. Her e/c eyes widened drastically before blushing bright red. "Eeehh?! Are you okay?! Oh, my god, are you dead?!" She squealed freaking out til the boy on top of her slowly sat up rubbing his neck.

???: "I'm so sorry, I got dizzy all of a sudden." A deep yet kind voice spoke up as Y/n moved to sit up while he moved his hair back with his left hand to reveal to the girl, his sea foam green eyes. "Are you okay? I swear that I'm not like those kind of guys?" He questioned as Y/n looked up at him as her face flushed bright red seeing the athletic build of her fellow student. The boy carefully stood up and helped the girl off of the ground.

Y/n: "Oh my gosh, he's so cute and kind." She thought before smiling up at the boy. "Oh, I'm okay. Don't worry about me." She said honestly til she felt something warm run down her cheek.

???: "Oh no, you're bleeding. Hang on, I got a hankie." He spoke up as he tilted her head up slightly and began gently cleaning away the blood til a pink haze filled his head. "Oh, that smell. I can't, I shouldn't give into temptation but..." He said softly as he looked aside while the girl tilted her head aside confused.

Y/n: "Smell? Temptation?" She questioned before lightly sniffing her wrist that held her strawberry and cherry blossom body mist. "What does he mean by smell?" She wondered looking down at her feet til her head was lifted up slowly to look up at the pink haired boy.

???: "I'm sorry, but I can't resist cause you see... I'm a vampire." He said while he leaned down towards Y/n's slightly exposed neck from the fall only to suddenly bite down onto her skin. "Capu." He sighed softly as he tasted fresh yet sweet but tart strawberry on his tongue, the taste made him hum satisfied until he realized what he was doing. He quickly moved back ashamed. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that!" He shouted out nervously while the girl was blushing bright red up at him.

Y/n: "Y-You bit me? Why did you do that?" She asked him seriously as she smacked his right arm flustered before taking out her cell to see what the guy had done. The mark he left looked like a fresh hickey which thankfully she could easily hid with her shirt.

???: "Are you going to Yokai too?" The boy's voice spoke up drawing the girl's attention over towards him, seeing he was picking up their fallen school things.

Y/n: "Oh, yes. I'm starting my first year here." She said honestly while fixing her shirt collar and tie as the bat landed onto her shoulder while nuzzling against her softly.

???: "That's great, same here, um... odd question, What do you think about vampires?" He asked while looking down at the girl flushing a bit as he gave the girl back her bag.

Y/n: "Is he being serious here?" She thought before smiling up at him. "Oh, that's fine by me. After all whom am I to judge people." She said honestly as she smiled sweetly up at the boy. "If you say your a vampire then that's alright with me."

???: "Really?! Thank you!" He shouted out happily and suddenly pulled the girl into a hug as the bat squeaks angrily at the boy. "If that's the case maybe we can be friends." He said honestly before moving back to see the girl was blushing a bit.

Y/n: "A friend, really?" She asked while the boy nodded towards her. "I've never had a friend before so yes! Oh, sorry, my name is Y/n, Y/n Aono." She said while her blush left and the bat landed onto her shoulder once more.

???: "Then I'll be your best friend here, Y/n and my name is Masaru Akashiya but you can call me Masa if you want to that is?" He said nervously while looking away from her. "She's so cute, not to mention that her blood tastes like a fresh and ripe strawberry from the vine." He looks towards Y/n and more importantly the bat. "Grr! That bat is a lucky little--" His thoughts were cut off as he felt something soft and warm hold onto his hand before looking directly at Y/n, whom had picked up his bicycle from the ground and held out for him smiling.

Y/n: "We should go then, Masaru. We don't want to be late for freshman orientation." She said up towards him with a smile unknowingly to her making the boy's heart thump wildly within his chest. "Come on." She said while walking off with Masaru walking beside her holding his bicycle.

At Yokai Academy

Y/n sat in her new homeroom with a cute smile on her face after introducing herself which unknowingly to her, attracted a lot of attention to her, mainly from the boys in the classroom. But Y/n was more focused on listening to her new homeroom teacher: Ms. Shizuka Nekonome. Y/n thought her teacher's robotic cat ears and tail were so cute while the bat from earlier was sitting on Y/n's head.

Y/n: "Even our new teacher seems really nice and her accessories are so cute! So far I think this school is going to be fun for my three years here!" She thought in her head while taking the bat off her head and nuzzled the cute little thing happily.

Ms. Nekonome: "So then, I'm sure everyone already knows this already, but this school was established so that monsters of all times and places could attend." She explained as Y/n tilted her head a bit confused. "At this point, the planet is already well under the control of humans. So in order for monsters like us to survive... the only option we have is to coexist with the humans!" She shouted out as she began reading of the rules, Y/n's eyes slowly widened in disbelief. "Which brings us to Academy Rule #1: While you are on campus, except in special circumstances, always remain in human form. Rule #2: Never reveal your monster identity to any of the other students. Everyone got that? Now everyone be sure and follow these rules, okay?" She said as Y/n was starting to think that her new teacher was just joking until the student beside her scoffed a laugh and their teacher told the class his name: Saizo Komiya.

Saizo: "Buncha boring rules. If we happen to spot a human, why not eat the damn thing then have some fun. That's what I'm planning to do, Teach." He said seriously as he glanced over at Y/n smirking. "Especially have fun with a cutie like you~" He flirted even revealed to the girl his long tongue.

Y/n: She looked away from Saizo in disgust but inside she was shaking from fear while the bat that she held hissed at Saizo angrily. "This can't be real! Monsters are nothing but supernatural tales, folk lore and movies." She thought until she heard Ms. Nekonome that the school's staff and students were all actually monsters, also the school was protected and enclosed by a giant secret barrier and if a human managed to get it that they'd be killed on sight. "EEEHHHH?!" Y/n shrieked inside of her head until she heard Saizo speak up.

Saizo: "You say that and all, but I swear I've been smellin' human this whole time." He said seriously before the classroom door slid to the side and Y/n perked up hearing a famaliar voice.

Masaru: "I'm sorry that I'm a bit late." He said honestly towards Ms. Nekonome before walking into the classroom smiling.

Ms. Nekonome: "That's fine and you are?" She questioned while the boy walked up front catching all the girl's attention unknowingly.

Masaru: "Right!" He said while holding his schoolbag behind his right shoulder and flipped his pink hair aside. "My name is Masaru Akashiya." He said smiling til he looked across the room as his sea foam green eyes locked onto Y/n's bright e/c eyes. He set his bag down near the teacher and jumped across the room to hug Y/n. "Y/n, it's you! We're in the same class?! Amazing, now I can see you every day!" He shouted out happily and pulled her out of her seat to snuggle her close to his chest.

Y/n: "M-Masaru!" She squealed out in pure shock and joy while her cheeks flush bright red while hugging him back as she felt jealous stares not only on her but on Masaru as well from their classmates. "Why do I have a bad feeling?" She thought before Masaru let her go to see the bat was biting onto his head. "Oh no, bad bat! Bad bat, Masaru is not food!" She shrieked while coaxing the bat back onto her shoulder as Masaru glared at the bat whom squeaks at him coyly.

Early Afternoon at Yokai Academy

Masaru held Y/n's hand gently while they walked throughout the hallways glaring at any other guy whom was ogling his new friend.

Y/n: "What is happening? This is a dream, right?" She wondered looking up at Masaru whom felt her gaze and smiled down at her thus making her cheeks flush with a pink hue. "Yeah, it's gotta be a dream. There's no such thing as a school for monsters..." She thought til Masaru escorted her outside to a drink vending machine.

Masaru: "I'll buy you a drink, Y/n-chan~ So, pick your favorite okay." He said kindly with a sweet smile which made Y/n smile fondly back up at him before looking at the drink selection, soon enough Masaru selected a can of tomato juice while Y/n picked a can of strawberry milk.

The pair bent over to pick up their drink cans only for their hands to bump another. Masaru looks over at Y/n blushing as he shot up straight nervously rubbing the back of his neck while Y/n giggled at his nervousness softly.

Y/n: "Thank you for the drink, Masaru." She said while taking hold of her milk can and held out Masaru's tomato juice can towards him smiling.

Masaru: His cheeks burned hotter at Y/n's sweet nature as he gently took his tomato juice can. "Oh, Y/n... You're so cute." He said 'lightly' shoving her arm and unknowingly shoved her into the stone pillar as the force made it crack under her.

Y/n: "He's so strong!" She yelled in her head and carefully stood back up rubbing her head a bit to help calm down the incoming headache. Y/n sat down beside Masaru whom poked two holes into his juice can while she poked her straw into her milk can. She slowly slurped a bit of milk onto her tongue only to hum happily at the taste. "So good, sweet strawberry milk is the best!" She said while Masaru was leaning against his hand looking at her.

Masaru: "I bet it's not as sweet as you, Y/n." He said honestly making her look over at him then sucked some more milk from her can's straw slowly. Masaru smiled as he sat up and took a drink from his tomato juice can. "Ah, this stuff is always so good." He said with a satisfied sigh from his lips.

Y/n: "Hehe, Masaru is so sweet... still if he's a real life vampire..." She thought before the two drank their separate drinks in peace til that peace was broken down by the punk looking student: Saizo Komiya whom stepped in front of her eyesight.

Saizo: "Hey you. You said your name was Y/n Aono, ain't that right, cutie?" He asked while Y/n looked up at him only to look aside to sip out a bit of her drink in pure shock.

Y/n looked over at Masaru but saw that his tomato juice can was on the ground and Saizo had picked up her friend by his uniform shirt and tie to press Masaru against a stone pillar.

Y/n: "Masaru! Let him go you, big bully!" She shouted out at Saizo whom ignored her even as she tried pulling Saizo's arm to make him let go of Masaru. "Are all the boys here so strong?!" She shouted out in her head while her eyes narrowed at Saizo.

Saizo: "Tell me-- what's a hot chick like you doing making friendly with this dweebish pretty boy putz like this?" He questioned as he looked down at Y/n whom was looking at Masaru in shock. "So Y/n, what's the deal?" He asked while Y/n started shaking in fright especially when Saizo tossed Masaru towards the vending machine nearly destroying it.

Y/n: "Masaru!" She shouted out in concern for her friend and began running over towards him til Saizo grabbed onto her shoulder holding her back.

Saizo: "Hold it right there. Forget about that weak ass scumbag and hang with me instead." He said towards Y/n whom glared at him before smacking his hand off of her.

Y/n: "No way, I'd never hang out with a brutish bully whom hurts my friends." She said seriously towards Saizo and ran towards Masaru. "Masaru!" She bent down onto her knees as Masaru slowly sat up rubbing his head. "Are you okay, Masaru?" She asked worried about him.

Masaru: "Yeah, I think so, Y/n." He said looking up at her while she began escorting him to the nurse's office just in case, but the pair missed seeing a long tongue from Saizo grab a can of tomato juice that rolled near his shoes and destroyed it with his own teeth making the juice spray out then fall onto the ground like a puddle of blood.

Up on Yokai Academy's rooftop

Masaru and Y/n stood beside each other to calm down after the traumatic experience the two had went through after the nurse cleared Masaru free of injuries.

Masaru: "That was pretty intense, are you sure your feeling okay, Y/n?" He asked towards Y/n whom sighed softly as she leaned her head against his arm making his cheeks burst bright red.

Y/n: "I'm fine, I was mainly worried about you when Saizo tossed you aside with that unbelievable amount of strength." She said while looking up at Masaru whom looked down at her. "So that was monster power, huh?" She asked the pinkette whom gently caressed her cheek.

Masaru: "Y/n, you say the funniest things! The way you say that, it's almost like you've never seen a monster before." He said smiling thinking that she was joking with him. "Oh, that's right! What kind of monster are you, Y/n? I bet your monster form is as cute as you." He said making Y/n's cheeks flush bright red at his words. "Wait-- telling our monster identities was against the school rules, huh? I'm sorry, forget I asked that."

Y/n: "But I know yours, Masaru. Remember, you already told me that you're a vampire." She said seriously making the boy rub the nape of his neck in embarrassment.

Masaru: "True, but when I told you, I didn't know it was a huge rule like that." He said while sighed softly before looking out at the academy's grounds.

Y/n: "You don't even look like a vampire, Masaru." She said while sighing softly before she looked over at Masaru seeing he was removing his tie. "Huh, w-what are you doing, M-Masaru?" She asked while covering her eyes with her hands.

Masaru: "Not at the moment I don't but..." He said as he moved Y/n's hands away from her eyes then he slowly unbuttoned a bit of his dress shirt to reveal his muscular and chiseled chest pectoral muscles to her eyes. "Look here." He said as a black leather choker rested on his neck with metal beads attached to a silver rosary cross but dead center was a huge round ruby.

Y/n: Her cheeks burned hotter as her e/c eyes widened in shock at what Masaru was voluntary showing her. "M-Masaru! This i-is highly inappropriate, I can't look at your bare chest?!" She squealed til Masaru held the rosary out to her to look at. "Huh? Is this what you wanted me to look at?" She asked looking at the piece of jewelry.

Masaru: "That's right, the rosary that rests on my chest. If I take this rosary off, I'll turn into a truly scary and powerful vampire." He said honestly before buttoning his shirt back up a bit but left some of his shirt open for his rosary to rest freely on his covered chest. "That's why I wear this charm that seals away my powers." He said as he smiled over at Y/n whom looked at him in awe. "I actually can't take it off myself."

Y/n: "Masaru, there's nothing wrong with that!" She said honestly as Masaru's eyes widened a bit at her tone of voice. "I mean even if you get a little scary, you're still the same Masaru and everything I met today." She said to him while smiling up at him. "Your kind and gentle to me, so Masaru is always going to be Masaru Akashiya, my first friend to me no matter what happens." She said confidently til she felt warmth surrounding her to see that Masaru was holding her close.

Masaru: "I knew you'd accept me, Y/n! Your my first friend!" He said happily while leaning back to look down at Y/n as both of their cheeks were flushed bright red. "Y/n, you were also my first in another way too."

Y/n: The girl tilted her head in confusion as she looked up at Masaru. "Your 'first'?" She questioned while Masaru leaned down towards her.

Masaru: He hums softly as he smiled. "Yeah, up until then, all I've ever had was tomato juice and blood transfusion bags." He said as his tongue poked out a bit to lick his lips slowly while his eyes became half lidded. "I never sucked anyone's blood like that before... until you, Y/n.~" He said as he leaned his head onto her shoulder gently while his arms wrapped around her waist. "So sweet yet tart like a fresh strawberry. That feeling, that taste... I'll never ever forget it." He whispered softly into her ear.

Y/n slowly placed her hands onto Masaru's back as her face burned brighter than ever. She shut her eyes slowly to enjoy the warmth Masaru provided her til an image of a different looking Masaru filled her mind: this Masaru looked more stronger and built, pure silver white hair, haunting and deep red eyes, and held four elongate fangs in his mouth. Her eyes opened up wide in shock while she quickly pushed Masaru away from her, Masaru looked down at her confused by her sudden actions.

Y/n: "S-Sorry! I-I forgot!" She stammered out before turning away from Masaru then ran off. "I gotta be somewhere!" She shouted out leaving a worried Masaru behind as she ran throughout the school panting. "What was that I saw?! He looked like Masaru but not the same, more scary and blood starved!" She thought as the students in the halls watched her run throughout the building while her e/c eyes looked around her. "Masaru, he really is different from someone like me! They all are, I've got to get out of here!" She shouted out in her head while running into her unpacked dorm room and gathered up her bags then walked out in front of Yokai Academy's main gate. "This school just isn't meant for me." She thought as she took a deep breath and turned around to walk away til she heard her name being shouted out.

Masaru: "Y/n!" He panted heavily since he was running after Y/n when she left him alone on the rooftop. Y/n turned to look at him in disbelief while Masaru took a deep breath. "You were acting kinda weird back there, so..." He said as he now noticed that Y/n was holding her bags even looking away from him.

Y/n: Her hands started shaking in fear but gripped her bag tighter. "I was just... thinking of going to a human school instead." She said honestly while controlling her voice so it wouldn't crack with sadness.

Masaru: "A... A human school?" He said in disbelief while he walked towards Y/n and turned her around to look at him. "Y/n?"

Y/n: Tears slowly filling up her e/c eyes as she looked up at Masaru. "I really like you, Masaru, but I just can't go to a school like this!" She cried out only for Masaru to pull her into an embrace.

Masaru: "No, you can't go to a human school! You just can't, Y/n!" He shouted out making her flinch in his arms as he held onto her tightly. "It's just that... I really hate humans. I've been there. I went to human schools all the way through junior high." He said honestly as he began remembering how lonely he was throughout his younger school life. "I was lonely, because humans don't believe in monsters or anything like that. I felt different, outcasted from everyone like I shouldn't have even be there." He said seriously before looking down at Y/n. "That's all I ever thought about when I was with them. But then I met you, Y/n, when you said that you didn't mind me being a vampire." Tears slowly ran down his cheeks as he looked at Y/n before cradling her face gently in his hands. "For the first time in my life, I don't feel alone anymore." He said honestly before he felt Y/n's hands slowly taking his hands off of her face.

Y/n: "Masaru, what if... what if I turned out to be one of those humans you hate so much? Would you still want to stop me?" She asked while looking down at the ground as she let go of Masaru's hands and picked up her bag that she had dropped when Masaru hugged her close. "I-I'm a...human. I'm telling you I'm human." She confessed softly but only enough for Masaru to be able to hear before looking up at him. His eyes widened drastically seeing that she was crying heavily. "The only reason I'm even at this school is because of some kind of mix-up!" She shouted out as she rubbed her tears away while seeing Masaru look at her in disbelief.

Masaru: "You're lying. There's no way a human could get into this school, tell me your lying, Y/n." He spoke up as he heard a quite laugh slip from Y/n's lips.

Y/n: "Why would I lie? I knew you'd look at me like that, so why even lie?" She questioned while looking away from Masaru whom shook his head.

Masaru: "Y/n, tell me that your lying. That this is a joke, please." He said softly as he reached out towards her only for Y/n to step away from him. "Y/n?"

Y/n: "Stay away from me!" She shouted out angrily before looking up at Masaru's wide eyes. "You hate humans right?! It's the same for me.... the last thing I need are monsters for friends!" She shouted out before running away from Masaru and into the forest crying.

Saizo: "Where do you think you're going, huh Y/n?" He stepped in front of the girl whom glared at him.

Y/n: "Listen just leave me alone, I'm not in the mood right now for arrogant jerks like you." She said seriously before her eyes widened in pure fear as Saizo transformed into his monster identity in front of her. "Saizo's an orc!" She shouted out in her head before trying to run away only for Saizo to grab her with his long tongue.

Masaru: "Y/n!" He shouted out as he ran after her into the forest. "Y/n! Damn it, I'm a idoit!" He shouted to himself looking around for her, worried about her safety when he suddenly heard a terrified scream of his friend. "Y/n!" He sniffed the air around him as he growled deeply. "Saizo, I'm going break him apart if he even touched her!" He ran after the scream of Y/n as his eyes widened nearing the source, his fists clench tightly seeing the girl on the forest floor covered in saliva and Saizo's true monster form over Y/n.

Saizo: "What's the deal? How come you don't change into your true form, huh Y/n?" He questioned as he moved closer towards the girl seeing the fear in her eyes. "You're scared aren't you, is that it?" He questioned as Y/n shook in pure terror.

Y/n: "Get away from me, you big bully!" She shouted out angrily even though terrified out of her mind and looked away as Saizo launched his tongue back at her, wrapping around her leg. "NO!!" She shouted out til her back to slammed against a tree, knocking the wind out of her lungs as mind numbing pain consumed her body. "I-It hurts! Someone stop the pain! Please, someone help me!" She prayed as she fell onto the ground again only to see with blurred vision, Masaru tackle Saizo onto the ground.

Masaru: "Get the hell away from Y/n!" He shouted out angrily while baring his fangs at the orc before kicking Saizo into a nearby tree.

Y/n: She slowly looked up as her blurry vision vanished to clearer sight. "M-Masaru?" She said quitely still in pain.

Masaru: "Y/n, it's okay. You're going to be okay." He said as he carefully picked her up into his arms bridal style before he was tossed off the hillside by Saizo while holding onto Y/n to protect her from farther harm.

Saizo: Laughed deeply as Masaru and Y/n rolled down the hill shouting out in pain. "I dunno what kinda of monsters you two are, but you're both weaker than weak!" He shouted out going after the two.

Y/n coughed while her eyesight blurred a bit as she blinked to regain focus on her sight to see that she was back where the school bus dropped her off earlier that day. She looked aside to see Masaru run towards her and gently lifted her onto his lap.

Masaru: "Y/n, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Y/n!" He cried while holding her carefully. "Damn it, this should not have happened to you. I guess monsters and humans are just to different." He said as hot tears fell from his eyes and onto Y/n's cheeks.

Y/n: "Masaru...." She said softly as she looked up at him before slowly lifting up her left hand to rest against his cheek softly. Slowly an image of rose thorns wrapped around a suspended Masaru was shown to her as he spoke to her.

Masaru: "Even me-- I'm a vampire. We suck people's blood and hurt them in the process. The truth is, even back at my old school all I ever wanted was a friend. Whether it was human or monster... I didn't care either way." He said honestly as he sniffed softly while Y/n slowly wiped away his tears from his eyes and he leaned into her touch. "But now... I guess it's just not possible, isn't it?" He questioned as Y/n slowly looked up at him.

Y/n: "Masaru..." She softly said while her e/c eyes shined brightly. "I..." She was starting to say until Saizo came and ruined the moment as Masaru stood up slowly alongside Y/n even though she was in great pain.

Saizo: "What's all is lovey-dovey shit?!" He shouted out glaring at the two while Masaru stood in front of Y/n and Saizo began running towards them.

Masaru: "You need to get out of here, Y/n." He said seriously towards her but she stood her ground.

Y/n: "No, I'm not leaving you here. I may be a weak, worthless and sickly for a human... but I..." She said softly before looking over at Masaru smiling. "I don't care if I'm a human and you're a vampire, Masaru... I still want to be your friend!" She shouted out happily before glaring at Saizo whom was about to strike her down. Y/n closed her eyes as she was knocked against the ground harshly making her scream out in pain til Masaru quickly went to her side. She coughed heavily before looking at Masaru seeing his angry sea foam green eyes at Saizo before he looked down at Y/n filled with worry. Y/n slowly reached out towards Masaru's shoulder while speaking softly from the pain she was in, her hand rested on Masaru's cheek instead of his shoulder. "Even if you are a vampire... I still... I still like you, Masa-chan." She confessed as her hand slowly moved down while she missed Masaru's wide eyes and flushed cheeks when Y/n's fingers gently touched Masaru's rosary cross it suddenly came off and fell into Y/n's awaiting hand.

As Masaru's rosary was in Y/n's palm, a blinding red rose light surrounded Masaru. Masaru looked down at his empty chain in disbelief.

Masaru: "My rosary...it came off!" He shouted out as the rose red light formed into a dome around Masaru and Y/n then exploded to fill the whole area. A blood red moon appeared in the sky as a swarm of black and red golden eyed bats flew onto Masaru whose body was bathed in white moonlight. Everywhere the bats touched made Masaru's body changed into his true form, his legs became more defined and strong, his torso more muscular that his blazer was unbuttoned and showed an outline of a six pack of abs underneath his white dress shirt while his shirt was unbuttoned at the top to create a medium v-shaped neckline that showed a sculptured chest. Finally Masaru's cherry blossom pink hair become a gleaming silver when he opened up his eyes to reveal a piercing ruby red eyes before he spun around and dropkicked the bats smirking.

Y/n and Saizo watched as more and more bats completely covered up Masaru's body until the whole swarm rested onto him. Y/n's eyes widened at what she was seeing before looking over at Saizo seeing that his own body was shaking.

Saizo: "What the hell is this? He looks more intimidating and scary like a different person!" He shouted out as he looked at the bat covered Masaru. "That isn't Masaru Akashiya!"

Y/n: "Masaru... he transformed." She said while remembering what Masaru had told her earlier on the rooftop of Yokai Academy. "This is Masaru's true self, a true vampire..." She said while holding onto the rosary as bats slowly peeled off of Masaru from his leg, his chest then his eye before all the bats flew away completely to reveal Masaru to Saizo and Y/n. "Masaru?"

Saizo: "It's just like the rumors say! Red eyes, silver hair, and overwhelming monster energy! He's an S-Class Supermonster... a real vampire?!" He shouted out as Masaru rolled his shoulders.

Masaru: He scoffed coyly as he gazed over at Saizo with haunting red eyes. "So you're the one whom woke me up?" He spoke up in a voice similar to his other self but this voice was more seductive, husky and deep yet powerful.

Saizo: "Wh-What is this? I'm shaking?!" He said as he looked at Masaru whom smirked at him. "I can't believe it, I'm shaking this much by his eyes alone!" He shouted out while Masaru stretched out his arms while Saizo spoke to himself. "Pull it together, if I could take down a vampire..." He was saying til Masaru yawned deeply grabbing his attention.

Masaru: "You talk to much, you should know your place." He said seriously before appearing in front of Saizo suddenly and drop kicked him directly in the jaw. The overwhelming strength from Masaru's powerful kick sent Saizo deeply into the rocky cliffside. "Pathetic waste." He tsked as he walked through the dust towards Y/n.

Y/n: "He looks like Masaru, but he's more dominant and more powerful. He's not the same Masaru as before, he's unbelievably strong and I wonder..." She stood up as she began seeing double of Masaru while the bat that has been following her around squeaked worriedly for her. "Which one of them is the real Masaru?" She thought as her body began to fall forward only for Masaru to catch her into his arms as he slowly held her bridal style with her head cradled onto his shoulder near his neck. "But his warmth... is the same as before. The same as the other Masaru." She forced her eyes to stay open a bit longer to see the silver haired Masaru smiling down at her. "Masa-chan...." She said softly as she reached out to brush her fingers against his cheek while he leaned into her touch.

Masaru: "Go to sleep, little blood blossom. I'll keep you safe." He said as he watched Y/n slip into a deep sleep nuzzling herself into his chest while making him smirk. "So sweet yet so delicate, I'm not going to let any man harm you." He whispered before he snatched the bat that was nuzzling against Y/n as she slept in his arms. "Ko, don't get to comfortable around her." He ordered before sighing. "You'll watch over her as a pet of sorts understand me?" He commanded the bat whom spoke up.

Ko: "Yes, Lord Masaru but what about your brother?" He questioned only to get tossed over Masaru's shoulder before flying onto Y/n's lap. "I'll have to listen to both lords orders now."

An Hour Later

Y/n woke up slowly, opening up her e/c eyes thinking it was all a dream until she looked up at a pink haired Masaru whom looked relieved that she was awake and in his arms.

Masaru: "Thank god, you're awake now, Y/n." He said smiling down at her while she looked around confused. "Are you all right? Are you hurt anywhere else?" He asked worried as Y/n just looked up at him.

Y/n: "Did I just dream all of that?" She asked before seeing the bus transit schedule making her sweat drop. "This bus doesn't operate on times, but days?!" She squealed out in disbelief. "The bus only comes once a month?!" She looked at Masaru whom laughed softly.

Masaru: "Yeah, didn't you know?" He questioned before noticing a scrape on Y/n's cheek was bleeding. "Y/n, your cheek is bleeding! Good thing I know first aid." He said seriously as he stopped Y/n from touching her bleeding cheek before gently dapping the blood off with a fresh tissue making her cheeks flush bright red.

Y/n: 'Dear Momma, Daddy, and Tsukune too, I know this letter won't reach you, but I'm writing it as a memento of what happened today. My new school, Yokai Academy, turned out to be a bit of a weird place, and I even considered leaving and coming back home right away. But I've decided to stick around for a little longer and grow up a bit here to see how it goes. The reason why is because I made my first friend here and his name is...'

Masaru smiled as he pulled the tissue back while Y/n smiled sweetly up at him before his nose twitched suddenly with a deep red hue covered his cheeks.

Masaru: "Oh..." He hummed softly as he looked down at Y/n as she tilted her head in confusion at her while a pink haze filled his head again. "I just can't resist this smell." He said seriously before leaning towards Y/n.

Y/n: "Huh, Masa-chan?" She questioned before Masaru tilted her head up to look into his half lidded sea foam green eyes.

Masaru: "I'm sorry about this, Y/n but I can't hold back with you." He whispered softly into her ear then bit onto her neck. "Capu." He hummed softly as the taste of her blood caressed his tongue.

Y/n: "Kyaa! Masaru!" She squealed out blushing bright red while closing her eyes in pure embarrassment. "Why me?!" She shouted out in her head.

Y/n: 'I think I might've ended up enrolling in a really dangerous school here!'

Masaru: 'You're gonna be fine, Y/n. Instead of worrying about it, let's kiss!'

Y/n: 'But I'm going get my neck sucked on even more in the next chapter! And even by a Incubus this time! Uh, speaking of which, isn't an Incubus a... oh no!'

Masaru: 'Next time on "Incubus & a Vampire" another Capu for you, Y/n-chan~'

Y/n: 'Kyaa! Why am I eye candy to you monster boys?! Masaru, no!! Not again, ah!~'

Inner Masaru: 'Our blood blossom is so sweet and beautiful. And she's mine alone, you damned incubus playboy.'

????: 'She's not just gonna be yours, you stupid vampire right, Y/n? Charm~♡'

Y/n: 'No!!' She runs off only for Masaru and the Incubus ran after her smirking
