Years have passed by as a certain alicorn filly grew up into a alicorn mare. Lessons on many types of magic from Prince Solaris guided her as well her foalhood best friend, Dusk Shine and when she wasn't with Solaris, she was learning love and light magic from Prince Crescendo her metaphorical big brother.

Yes, laughter filled the halls but not the pranking kind anymore nor did tiny hoof beats or rapid fluttering of wings for the one whom caused them had matured but you'll see soon enough...

Within Canterlot Castle

Solaris sat in his throne room after lowering the moon for the new dawn of day and began signing documents that required his attention before guards opened up the doors for somepony to walk inside.

Royal guards: "Her royal highness, Y/n L/n the Princess of Love." The duo announced as Solaris gave Raven the newly signed documents to look up at a young mare entering the room. Her tiara gleaming in the new day's rays and against her c/c coat. Her mane and tail was a lustrous m/n and (styled the way you want) with her cutie mark shown for all to see. Golden heart shaped rose tipped horses sounded against the carpet while the mare smiled up at her mentor and caretaker.

Y/n: "You wanted to see me, Prince Solaris?" She asked in a beautiful and melodious voice as she approached her teacher and hugged him while he hugged her back. "It must be important since you've summoned me away from Cres-Cres and away from my planning a month early for the summer sun celebration." She said while now looking up at Solaris before the two royal ponies walked throughout the stained glass hallway and stopped at her portion. The first held Solaris holding a f/c bundle and above him was the sun next to a f/c heart, the second one was of a filly Y/n hugging a foal colt Dusk Shine as well their cutie mark symbols, the third and last one of the stain glass murals was of Y/n's royal coronation when she was made a princess, a tiny filly was shown inside a pink heart above the image of a fully grown mare Y/n surrounded by heart shaped blooming pink roses and her horn alight with f/c aura and her wings spread out.

Solaris: "I summoned you for an extremely important matter at hoof, my little wonder." He said as the pair of royals both looked at the three murals. "From the moment you appeared here in Equestria, you've spread devotion and love wherever you go as well gain many friends including Dusk Shine." He said as he smiled down at the still growing mare whose cheeks flushed a bit at the young stallion's name. "But Dusk Shine needs more friends than just you and Barbara, so for the next month I'll have you living in a village named Ponyville where the summer sun celebration will be held this year." He said as Y/n looked up at him with wide e/c eyes while he rested his hoof onto her shoulder. "I know that this is sudden especially to leave your friends and Canterlot behind but I've already got everything prepared for your stay there in the village." He said while Y/n looked down at the ground til Solaris used the tips of his wings to look at his ward seeing the sorrow and the nerves in her eyes as well worry. "My dear, what's wrong? Do you not want this duty?" He asked while Y/n breathes slowly and looked at him.

Y/n: "I want to do my part as a princess, Solaris but leaving my friends and family behind... I don't know?" She said before creating a heart shaped rose from a potted plant urn then picked it to play with it's tiny pink heart embedded gems in the lush petals. "May I send all of you letters during my stay there?" She asked while Solaris's deep yet warm laughter filled the hallway before nodding to her.

Solaris: "Of course, my little wonder even your orthros companion so you won't be alone." He said and spread out his wings as Y/n suddenly booped his muzzle. "Hahaha, go pack up my dear your royal chariot is waiting outside for you. And remember that I love you, the little filly whom helped me when I nearly gave up hope." He said as Y/n galloped off to pack up her things, was when Solaris felt something heavy in his mane. His golden magic removed the object and let him see it to find a sunset colored heart shaped rose embedded with tiny gems and star looking sparkles. "You'll make me proud as always, little one." He said with a smile as he trucked the rose back underneath his ear carefully then walked back to the throne.

Riding on a royal pegasus guard drawn chariot to Ponyville

Y/n took a deep breath of the crisp early morning air as she levitated her orthros Achilles and Socrates in the air with her f/c magic while below them was a carriage holding the princesses belongings being pulled by earth pony guards.

Guard: "Princess, up ahead is Ponyville have a look." He spoke as Y/n looked forward to see the village that she'll be living in for a while.

Her e/c eyes widened in pure awe at the village, it looked peaceful and quite compared to the busy and ever working Canterlot. The carriage and chariot trotted and flew towards a beautiful villa surrounded by water, farmland and lovely gardens to fit the scenery of Ponyville along with a river stone made bridge, a few feet away from the village's library. Once the chariot landed on the ground, Y/n lowered her orthros Achilles and Socrates onto the grass for them to play around the grass while the guards took the princesses belongings inside the villa for her to place where she wanted them placed.

Inside Y/n was instructing the guards where to place certain things and helped them out for a few hours until it was mid-day and the guards saluted their princess before leaving as the mayor of Ponyville arrived. Y/n and the mayor talked over tea and cookies for the summer sun celebration before she had to take Achilles and Socrates for their walk. As the alicorn royal walked the streets as many foals got to pet the double headed dog and was given flowers by the alicorn mare with a sweet smile.

Y/n walked Achilles and Socrates until the pair stopped to look at a gingerbread house looking bakery with a sign that read: Sugarcube Corner as the scent of fresh yet sweet scents of baked goods filled the air, somepony suddenly hopped onto the princess laughing happily while both ponies landed on the ground.

???: "Hahaha, I'm so sorry." He said in a excited southern atlanta voice while laughing as he stood up a then pulled Y/n off of the ground dusting her off with his puffy pink tail. "I was seeing how high I could jump skip before my pet alligator gummy told me a funny joke, Hehehe." He said as he opened up his eyes to gasp deeply then smile widely at the mare. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! A new face in Ponyville, I'm so excited!!" He squealed out happily then noticed the mare's c/c horn and wings, the feathers speckled with f/c then her cutie mark only to gasp again and bowed to her. "Princess, I welcome you to Sugarcube Corner. Home of the tastiest treats in ALL of Equestria. My name is Bubble Berry but you can call Bubble." He greeted still bowing to her.

Y/n, Achilles and Socrates looked at each other then down at this new stallion in front of them, a light pink earth pony with light crystal blue eyes, puffy curls of hot pink mane and tail and a cutie mark of three balloons: two light blue with yellow strings and the another was a yellow balloon with light blue string. The alicorn mare walked towards the stallion as she helped him off of the ground and greeted him with a sweet smile making a red rosy hue appeared on Bubble Berry's cheeks.

Y/n: "Oh, no please do need to call me by my royal title. You can just call me Y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you Bubble." She said while noticing his flushed cheeks and wide eyes. "Are you okay, Bubble?" She asked as Achilles and Socrates yawned behind her.

Bubble Berry: "Wowie, I never knew the princess would have a cotton candy sweet smile!" He thought before smiling himself but this time softly until Y/n started making funny faces in front of him, which made him laugh this time. "And she can make funny faces, so funny and cute!" He thought while laughing before calming down. "I'm okay, I was just thinking. Oh, I almost forgot I got to give you my special welcome to Ponyville song that I give new ponies. Do you want to hear, oh please tell me you do?" He asked while looking at Y/n with his big blue eyes and made her giggle before she nodded.

Bubble Berry smiled widely before rushing into the bakery and suddenly pulled out a festive looking cart with a light blue microwave and what looked like organ pipes as he started up the cart as music filled the air and he danced excitedly around Y/n singing out. The alicorn mare clapped her hooves as the earth pony stallion danced and sang out smiling.

Y/n's feathers puffed up as confetti exploded out of the pipes in surprise and the microwave opened up to reveal delicious looking cupcakes of various flavors. Bubble Berry took the tray of cupcakes and held it out towards Y/n to have something sweet.

Y/n: "Bravo, bravo Bubble! That was amazing and looked so much fun." She said while giving to dog treats to her orthros dog as she took a f/f cupcake from the tray and slowly bit into it tasting the treat before shoving the whole treat into her muzzle to hum in pure delight then swallowed. "Bubble, these cupcakes are so good!" She squealed out happily.

Bubble Berry: He rubbed the back of his neck from the compliment. "Thank you, Y/n I made them myself. My secret ingredient is...." He stopped talking as he looked around before whispering into her ear while Y/n began eating another cupcake. "...love." He said as he moved back smiling happily while took a cupcake too before Y/n left to finish walking her orthros dog whom was being spoiled with more homemade treats from the earth pony stallion in a ballon shaped bag. "Bye bye, Y/n!! I'll see you later!" He shouted out before he galloped into the bakery to plan a surprise party for the lone princess in Ponyville.

Y/n kept walking her orthros until the duo or trio in this case stopped in the park and let her dog off his leash before hopping onto his back as they began running around barking out happily.

???: "Oh my goodness, an orthros without an owner?" A quite yet yet rough voice spoke up to whistle for the doggie. "Here boy, over here." He said only for his ears perked up as he heard a feminine voice screaming out from the orthros while he ran towards the whistle.

Y/n: "Achilles, Socrates slow down!!" She shouted out in fear of her usual well behaved mythical dog acting like a puppy again may hurt somepony from his rapid speed. "SIT BOYS!!" She shouted out using the royal Canterlot voice that Prince Solaris taught her, only to be thrown from the orthros back and into somepony. "Ow, ow, ow... Achilles and Socrates, you two are in so much trouble. Bad dog, bad." She scolded before a soft gasp was heard below her as she cased her e/c eyes down to see a that she was accidentally straddling a pale yellow pegasus stallion with deep and light evergreen eyes which went his pale pink mane. "Oh, sweet Solaris. I'm so sorry." She said as she climbed off the stallion then helped him onto his hooves. "Are you okay?" She asked while the stallion nodded instead of speaking as the mare got a perk of the stallion's cutie mark: three cyan blue butterflies with light pink wings. "I'm Y/n L/n and you are, kind sir?" She asked the stallion.

???: "I-I'm B-Butterscotch...." He said softly near whisper volume as the mare's ears perked up a bit then revealed her wings to the stallion. "Y-You a-are the P-Princess...." He whispered as he looked down at the ground shyly only for Y/n gently lift his head up to look at her.

Y/n: "Hello, Butterscotch and you don't got to worry about me being a princess." She said with a smile on her face as Butterscotch looked at her with wide eyes. "Just call me, Y/n if you don't mind." She said to him.

Butterscotch: "She....She heard me speak, she even said my name." He thought before watching her calm down her orthros dog with cuddles til his own pet bunny: Angelina aka Angel nuzzled her head against the alicorn mare's leg. "Angel..." He said as Y/n picked the bunny up gently and booped their noses together.

Y/n: "This is your bunny, Butterscotch? She's so adorable." She said while the pegasus stallion blushed bright red as Angel chittered at him while he understood the bunny's words thankfully the mare didn't understand. "Aw, I think she likes me." She said as Angel kissed her cheek before hopping over towards Butterscotch.

Butterscotch: "Thank you, Y/n and it seems so, Angel rarely gets along with others." He spoke still in his soft voice as Angel jumped onto his head. "Well, we should get going now, bye Y/n. I hope to play with your orthros next time." He said while he walked away as the orthros barked goodbye with his owner waving goodbye while walking the opposite direction. "Angel, you can stop teasing me now." He said as the bunny chattered at him making him blush again. "Ugh, Yes the princess is breathtaking and no, that was an accident." He said while walking off.

Back at the villa of Princess Y/n then towards the Apple Orchards

Y/n let Achilles and Socrates into the villa as he went to take a nap in his huge dog bed while his owner put out a dish of dog food and fresh water for him to enjoy before she left the villa to explore more of Ponyville. After a few minutes the alicorn mare walked towards a village landmark: Sweet Apple Acres.

Y/n: She took a breath of the sweet apple ridden air and sighed softly. "Wow, it's so nice here." She said until her ear perked up at the sound of thundering hooves as somepony ran past her.

???: "YEEHAW!!" A strong texan voice rang out as two back legs smacked against a full apple tree bursting with the fruit to fall into bushel buckets underneath the tree perfectly. This pony was a huge earth pony stallion wearing a stetson cowboy hat with a light orange coat and a triangle pointed freckles under his apple green eyes, which paired well with his long blond mane and short tail to the three red delicious apples of a cutie mark on his flack. He sighed while wiping the sweat off of his brow.

Y/n: "Oh, sweet Solaris..." She whispered softly before shaking her head to clear her thoughts before walking over towards the stallion. "Hello there, my name is Y/n L/n and I just arrived to Ponyville." She said as the stallion looked over at her before smiling down at her then removed his hat to bow lightly to her.

???: "Pleasure to meet ya, your highness." He said while putting his hat back onto his head. "I'm Applejack and welcome to my family's farm and apple orchard; Sweet Apple Acres the home of the most juiciest apples in all of Equestria." He said boasting as Y/n smiled up at him.

Y/n: "The juiciest apples in all of Equestria, huh? I've eaten the golden apples from the royal garden's golden apple tree." She said teasingly to Applejack and giggled at his bashful face.

Applejack: He rummaged throughout one of the Apple bushels buckets by him to pull out a plump and fresh apple that gleamed an enticing ruby red with hints of sunset gold on the top. "I reckon you'll change your mind bout that, Sugarcube." He said as he held out the apple towards the princess and smiled as she took it with her f/c aura magic.

Y/n: "We shall see, my gentlecolt." She said before bringing the apple close then takes a bite as juice from the fruit dripped onto her chin. "Mmmmm~" She swooned from the taste, it was like taking a bite of pure paradise. She kept eating the apple until only the core was left and took out the seeds to plant for a apple tree in her new home. "This apple is the most phenomenal that it tasted of paradise!" She squealed out happily as she began prancing around like she used to as a little filly when excited.

Applejack: He laughed deeply at seeing the princess's excitement as well her sudden but adorable prancing. "I'm glad you liked it, Sugarcube. Well, I better get back to work but I'll see you around princess." He said before giving her a wink. "Well, well looks like we got a gorgeous apple blossom in Ponyville." He thought while getting the full buckets of apple into a cart ready for selling.

Y/n: She stopped prancing around before clearing her throat slightly embarrassed as she looked at Applejack. "Pardon me, and of course. I'll see you later sweet apple." She gave him a nickname and flew up into the sky humming a soft tune while keeping her eyes out for anything on the ground and sky. "La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la~" She sang out out like a nightingale songbird as unknowingly to her another pegasus was in the air and heard her singing. Y/n doing elegant twirls and loops in the air then began shaping a cloud into a heart before sitting on it as birds surrounded her singing as well with her.

???: "You're quite a songbird, aren't you doll?" A husky Manehattan accent as the birds scattered from the mare. "Whoops, sorry about that but you tame critters like my best foalhood friend, Butterscotch." He said as he flew up in front of the alicorn mare. Y/n tilted her head to the side to see a cerulean blue coated pegasus stallion with rainbow mane and tail, deep purple eyes, and a tri colored lighting bolt of red, yellow and blue thunder cloud cutie mark. "What's a sweet little filly like you doing up here?" He flirted making her blush a bit. "The name's Blitz, princess. Rainbow Blitz the fastest fly in all of Equestria." He said as he sat down beside her on the cloud.

Y/n: She giggled a bit at this pegasus's bold flirting. "My, my, you are quite a flirt and bold." She said while holding her right wing out towards him. "Well Blitz, my name is Y/n L/n but you can call me doll if you want too but for shall we go for a fly." She questioned stretching out her wings and legs as Blitz smirked at her then began doing the same.

Rainbow Blitz: "Oh, you're on doll but how a race from here to Carousel Boutique? If you win I'll treat you to a meal at the Hay burger restaurant but if you lose you treat me to a meal." He said while Y/n though on it before nodding.

Y/n: "I accept your challenge and be warned, I have a big appetite so don't be surprised when I win." She said before crouching down. "At the count of three, Blitz." She said while readying her wings alongside Blitz. "Three, two, one..........go!" She shouted out as a massive streak of rainbow and m/c trailed behind the to flyers until both came to a screeching halt in the air in front of the boutique. "Huh, looks like we've tied and that was so much fun. I've never had a another flying buddy this fast as Spitfire." She said before pulling Rainbow into a hug then remembered the bet. "Oh, The bet since we tied how about I pay for you and you pay for me. Sound fair to you, Bow?" She questioned.

Rainbow Blitz's jaw opened agape not only was this alicorn mare a fast flyer, she is friends with the Wonderbolts leader: Spitfire. He rapidly shook his head to clear his thoughts before shaking the mare's hoof.

Rainbow Blitz: "Sounds good to me, doll and it's a date." He said while turning around as Y/n gently landed on the ground. "Catch you later, princess." He said before flying away at high speed which ruffled the princess's mane a bit but it was fixable. "That....mare....is...Two hundred percent of pure awesomeness!!!" He thought while laughing out loud.

Y/n shrugs as she watched Rainbow Blitz fly off laughing before opening up the door to the boutique and walked inside only for her e/c eyes to sparkle in awe at the sight she was beholding. So many different types of dresses, clothes, even sleepwear all made of stunning fabric and some decorated in beautiful various gemstones and jewels.

Y/n: "Oh my, these outfits look absolutely stunning." She said while summoning her bit purse hopefully she brought enough extra to purchase an item. "Some of these designs are more hoof stitched compared to the ones in the boutiques in Canterlot." She said while looking at a lovely f/c sundress with a matching sunhat decorated with hoofmade heart shaped faux roses.

???: "Oh, why thank you darling for the compliment on my hard work." A deep yet posh french accent spoke up from upstairs as the owner of the voice was walking downstairs. "Welcome to the Carousel Boutique where everything is chic and magnifique. My name is Elusive, darling." He greeted as he walked towards from the looks of it a pegasus mare admiring his latest creation. "Ah, I see you're enchanted by my latest piece. I call it: Fleur d'amour after the Princess of Love, herself." He said with a puffed out chest from the pride in his hard work. "It took forever to create these faux roses to look exactly like the one's she creates but I'd do it all over again for my muse." He said as he opened up his eyes to reveal his deep cornflower azure blue eyes to the mare in question.

Y/n: A deep red blush covered her c/c cheeks at this stallion's flattering words before stepping out into the open to see a pristine white gray coated unicorn stallion with ombre amethyst purple curled mane and tail, alongside with his cutie mark of three flawless four pointed light blue diamonds. "I'm your muse? Oh my, that's a lot to take in at once." She said truthfully before looking up at Elusive whom was now looking at her and speechless.

Elusive: "Am I dreaming?! Is the actual princess of love, Y/n L/n in my shop?!" He was internally freaking out before he cleared his throat then bowed down before Y/n. "Princess Y/n, I humbly apologize for my candor for had I known you'd be coming here I've would have created something more elegant for a beauty such as yourself." He said while looking up at her as she shook her head lightly.

Y/n: "No, no it's quite beautiful really. I was actually planning on buying this sundress and sunhat you've made, also you don't need to bow down to me." She said while holding her hoof out towards him to take as she helped Elusive off of the floor. "Plus I've never been somepony's muse before I'm not even that pretty." She said while smiling until Elusive held onto her front hooves.

Elusive: "My dear, Every word I said before about you is the truest of truths. You are gorgeous inside as well as outside." He said seriously as he looked down into her radiant e/c eyes. "From lovely windows to your very soul to your heart of the purest of gold, I hold you in high regard." He said while making Y/n's cheeks flush again.

Y/n: "Thank you, Elusive for your passionate words and I would love to purchase this outfit as well, I'll even model it for you to take a photo before I had home." She said as she gave Elusive the needed amount of bits as well a bit more as tip for the outfit before going into the changing room and put it on. Once she put on the sunhat carefully onto her head, she stepped out with her horn alight with f/c aura as her magic created an image behind her while posing in a far-off lovestruck look.

Elusive: Brought out his camera and took several photos of the princess modeling his creation then picked the most radiant one of them to display in the shop but when he was about to frame it, Y/n sighed it with her name and cutie mark symbol with a message. "Thank you, darling heart." He said before holding one of her front hooves to kiss it lightly like a gentlecolt would do so.

Y/n: "Your welcome and may we meet again, charming Elusive." She said while exiting the boutique in her outfit smiling and shut the door behind her as she began trotting off towards her villa.

Elusive: He sighed deeply as hearts popped around him with a smitten look on his face. "Oh Solaris, She is simply divine and so lovely." He said to himself as he used his light cornflower azure blue magic to place the photo into a gold trimmed frame and hanged it up onto the wall, only for his eyes to widen when he sees Y/n's written message. "To Elusive, the most phenomenal designer and dashing gentlecolt. Thank you for making a astonishing dress based on I. Your fair princess, Y/n L/n." In elegant quill writing and at the end was a heart. Elusive gasped softly before swooning onto a one of his chaise lounge chairs around the boutique. "Okay, I'm now beyond smitten with my muse now." He said before giddily celebrating by sketching out a new inspiration for an outfit.

Back at the Villa

Y/n carefully planted the apple seeds around the entrance of her new home then used her a different form of magic from her hooves to grow the seeds into fully grown apple trees as they began baring delicious looking fruit. After the use of her earth pony magic, she headed into her home and turned on the lights only to be greeted by multiple ponies shouting out.

Ponies: "Surpise!! Welcome to Ponyville, Princess!!!" They cheered as Y/n took off her sunhat and hanged it up onto a hook and began greeting the ponies in her home til five famaliar stallion trotted up towards her.

Bubble Berry: He pulled Y/n into a huge hug and squealed happily. "I threw together this surprise party for you, Y/n! Do you like it or do you love it?" He questioned as he gave her a cupcake.

Y/n: "It's wonderful, Bubble thank you so much. I've not had a surprise party since I was a filly." She said while smiling happily and began chatting with Bubble Berry, Rainbow Blitz, Butterscotch, Applejack and Elusive as the party went on into the night before everypony left but the six new friends cleaned up the villa with ease. Soon, the five stallions wished the princess sweet dreams as they all headed home while Y/n waved them off then looked up at the rising moon seeing the stallion in the moon. "Goodnight, fair prince of the night." She whispered softly before going to bed with a smile on her muzzle as Achilles and Socrates lied down at the end of her bed. "I think I'm going to love it here, and bring much needed change to help out Dusk Shine." She thought before falling asleep slowly.

((Phew!! Two days & an afternoon of writing but it was worth it for 4, 877 word long chapter!! Next chapter will be the start of My little pony: Friendship is Magic, but for now it's on hold!!))
