Taehyung massages the creases in his forehead as he closes his eyes. Apparently, he has taken over the position of CEO of BigHit Entertainment, and looks like he's giving up on his first day.

The young CEO is now sitting on his swivel chair, with Suho sitting in front of him. He had just taken the position for a day, and problems are already welcoming him. Consecutive issues and scandals from his artists are apparently swarming the media and the company has been silent all this time.

First, their rapper Song Mino's drug scandal with a friend of his.

Second, the dancer of their girlgroup Twice, Hirai Momo's sudden pregnancy that they need to cover her hiatus up by appearing that she's having a vacation in Japan.

Third, solo artist Kim Heechul not renewing contract with them and plans to go after his girlfriend's company to be together with her. They will lose a very talented artist if that will happen.

And a bonus, a member of boygroup NCT has cracked his spine during MV shooting, resulting to the delay of their comeback in a few months.

"And Taehyung-ssi, this morning, Krystal has been hinting in the social media of having a relationship with somebody. She didn't reveal the name or face of his so-called boyfriend yet, but it is also currently stirring the media." Suho's voice filling the room.

Taehyung weakly grunts and furrows his brows. "What? Even that?"

Suho nods his head. "Unfortunately, Taehyung-ssi."

Taehyung breathes in a deep breath. He had already met the artists, trainees and staffs of the company and so far, all of them are polite and respectful. He had talked already with Mino and Heechul. Mino will be having a court trial next week and Heechul still firm in his decision of not renewing his contract, there's no stopping him from going. All Taehyung could do is wish them good luck and support them as their CEO, even though he is crumbling inside.

Taehyung had also visited Jaehyun in the hospital, the NCT member who cracked his spine, and arranged his medical expenses.

"How's Momo?" Taehyung asked. The said girl had already left for Japan last week so they haven't had the chance to meet.

"She's in the care of his family right now and we had already assured her security during her stay. The company is doing everything to cover her up." Suho answered.

Taehyung nods and relaxed himself. At least everything's at the right path of solutions and he tells himself that there is nothing to worry about.

"The problem is Taehyung-ssi, this company has few artists to showcase and almost all of them are currently in the middle of criticisms and conflicts. We still have Heechul to produce a new album this week, and Twice to have their comeback, but we need to have something new to divert the attention of people."

"Aren't we having trainees that are set to debut? I mean, Kang Daniel? Park Jihoon?"

"We are thinking about that also, but it would be nice to add more members to the group, don't you think?"

Taehyung thinks for a while, then nods. "Yeah, we'll think about that. In the meantime, let them train more so that they will be prepared enough to debut as soon as possible. Those kids have lots of potential though."

"I agree with you Taehyung-ssi. Don't worry that much. I know you're new to this but we won't let the company lose the spotlight. And with you being the new CEO, I can see determination and potential in you too. I know Donghae hyung will never let 'just anybody' to handle his company. I trust in you, Taehyung-ssi." Suho said and smiled genuinely at Taehyung.

Taehyung felt touched and kind of relaxed. He knows Suho is also a trustworthy supervisor and the said man will guide him all throughout. "Suho-ssi, can I ask a favor?"

Suho straightens up attentively. "Anything, Taehyung-ssi."

"Can you drop the formalities? Just call me Tae."

Suho blinks for awhile. "But, Taehyung-ssi--"

"At least in non formal occasions? You're a close friend of our family and be free to call me by my name."

Suho sighs then smiles. A smile that of a real friend and not of a supervisor. "Okay, Tae. But also on one condition."

Taehyung raises a brow. "What is it?"

"Call me hyung." Then they shake their hands and Suho, to Taehyung's surprise, fists his hand for a bro-fist.

Taehyung softly laughs and obliged.

Yoongi is working on a song in front of his computer, notes scattered at the table behind him. He was making the bridge of the song, when he suddenly remembers a good line that had popped up his mind one night and had written it at his notebook where he writes lyrics.

He stands up from his chair and scans the mess on his table, but unfortunately, he cannot see the said notebook. He remembers Jungkook reading it the last time he went here in his studio, so he picks up his phone and sent a text message asking if the raven head had seen his precious notebook and that he needs it right now.

After sending the message, he continues on with his search. He goes to a cabinet at the other side of the room and rummages through the papers, until suddenly, an old familiar notebook fell on the floor.

Yoongi picks it up and stares at the cover, trying to rack his brain where he had seen this notebook. He opens and scans through the pages, and what he saw made him fell to realization.

The handwriting is so familiar, he had seen it in music notebooks, scratch papers and even in Yoongi's own notes when he was younger. The cover reminded Yoongi that this was his gift to Taehyung on his birthday. And inside written in black ink, the lyrics of the song 'Butterfly', only confirms the owner of the said notebook.

He remembers the last time Taehyung had been working on this song, he was so young and naive. Taehyung was with Yoongi when the brunette was arranging the melody of the song. The younger had his hyung's help and was about to record his voice when Jungkook had come to fetch him that time. Taehyung had set it aside for the meantime because he had prioritized Jungkook and left the notebook to Yoongi to check the song. Yoongi had approved the song and was excited about his best friend's masterpiece.

Sadly, the song was left unfinished. Its composer left it in the cold and dark shadows, just like letting the butterfly in the lyrics stay in its cocoon and not letting it fly. The composer was very young back then. Very naive and in love, to the point he was breaking.

Taehyung hadn't had the chance to record the song, after everything that happened.

A knock on the door interrupted Yoongi from his thoughts.

The door opens and inside peeks Taehyung's head.

"Hey, you busy?"

Yoongi shakes his head and smiles. "Nah, I was making a song, but I can finish it later. What are you doing here?"

Taehyung invites himself in, and sits down on one of the chairs. "The meeting with Suho hyung was frustrating, I need to unwind a bit." Taehyung then scans the place, but a thing clutched in Yoongi's hands catches his eyes. "Hey, that's--"

"Yours." Yoongi finished the sentence and holds the notebook in front of Taehyung, lending it to the brunette.

Taehyung carefully takes hold of it, then quietly scans what consists of the thing. His eyes looked tense for a moment then he pulls out a bored look. "So cringey." But Yoongi didn't fail to notice the slight shaking of the younger's hands.

Yoongi raises a brow. "Wow. What an inspiring comment from the composer himself."

Taehyung disregards Yoongi's reply and speaks, "Why are you still keeping this, though?"

"I dunno, maybe I'm waiting for it to be released as a real song." Yoongi shrugs.

Taehyung clicks his tongue and tosses the notebook at the table, never glancing his way at the thing again. But Yoongi takes hold of it and promised to keep it. He knows that one day, Taehyung will be able to look at it again, and maybe even considering to make it as a title track.

Both males' attention was caught by a ding of Yoongi's phone, signaling a message. The older opens the message and reads it quietly.

He cannot stop his eyes to go wide.

The notebook's here with me. I'm coming.

Jungkook whistles his way along the corridors of studios and practice rooms, his path straight to where Yoongi's studio is located. He had just finished a meeting from some of his investors and has an hour to spare before the next meeting. He immediately drove to the entertainment building after reading Yoongi's message, and he can't wait to show Yoongi some of his lyrics he thought overnight.

During his journey, he bumps into Suho along the way and asks if his hyung hasn't come out of the studio yet.

"Oh hey Jungkook-ssi. Yoongi hasn't come out yet. I think he's talking with the CEO right now at his studio." Suho answered politely. The supervisor has been formal and well-mannered all the time, Jungkook thinks.

He thanks the man and continues to walk leisurely, thinking why is Yoongi talking with the CEO. It had been quite a talk as to who would take over the company for a long time. Jungkook himself is curious to know.

The door to Yoongi's studio appears in sight and he fastens his pace. As soon as he's facing the closed door, he knocks twice. "Hyung?"

Jungkook hears a sigh, followed by a soft 'come in' from Yoongi inside the room. He then twists the knob and opens the door.

Jungkook's eyes immediately catch the sight of two persons sitting on chairs, like they were talking before he came in barging. He was ready to greet the said CEO of the company when the sight of the man in front of him caught his breath and made him stop in his tracks.

Jungkook's eyes widen and his mouth hangs open.

He is now staring at the most beautiful pair of eyes, which are also staring back at him.

Those brown eyes he had grown to love. Those very familiar brown eyes.

He chokes.

"T-taehyung?"
