Ruby: Please. S-S-Stop...

She pleaded. Another punch on her face from none other than Grand confessor Varkham himself.

She was being tied up in a chair as she's being interrogated. She's trying to struggle to escape but to no avail. He continues to interrogate her as he punches her stomach. She felt pain, she couldn't handle it anymore as her tears came out from her eyes. He's done hurting her as he interrogates her.

Varkham: Tell me, little girl. Why did a girl like you come to these ruins of this city? It's because you need to explore like an adventure, or you come here to stop us?

Ruby: I don't know... what you're t-talking a-a-bout.

Varkham: I see... I should forget to introduce myself. My name is Abraham Varkham, a grand confessor of the Nod.

Ruby: Nod? Wait, you are a member of Nod!?

Varkham: I see you have heard about us. Probably from a friend of yours, the GDI.

Ruby: I don't believe it... How did you all get here and how did you know they were already here?

Varkham: That question is not my concern, child. My concern is telling me the truth. Are there people with you?

She doesn't want to respond to him so she stays silent.

Varkham: Confess your truth and you will be forgiven.

She was still silent as she stared at him with her glare. He grew tired of his patients so decided to use his chainsaw sword and place it on her neck. Ruby feels shivers that he is putting his weapon onto her neck. She can't believe he's going to kill her in cold blood. He said to her,

Varkham: Listen, I show a bit of kindness to you. But it seems you're not telling me the truth. But I'm giving you a last chance, are there more of you?

Ruby: N-No.

Varkham: Then die!

He shouted as he raised his chainsaw sword to strike her. She shut her eyes as she's about to die, then she heard a voice as he said to Varkham.

Shizaku: Stand down, Grand confessor Varkham...

He responded as he lowered his chainsaw sword down. He approaches Ruby looking at her eyes as it's his turn to interrogate her. He asked her.

Shizaku: Did they tell you who I am?

She shakes her head to respond to him.

Shizaku: Very well... It seems my friend grew tired of your ignorance. So I will make this much easier for you.

He grabbed her and throw out of the train car. Her chair was destroyed when she hit the floor so hard, she struggled to stand up but a confessor stepped on her back as she yelled in pain. Shizaku, Varkham and the confessor cabals stepped out of a train car. A confessor turns her around then stomps on her stomach as she yells so loud. They approached her and Shizaku said to her.

Shizaku: Now...

He draws his katana, pointing at her as he continues to interrogate her.

Shizaku: You will tell us where your friends are or I'll kill you and you will never see a light again.

He said. In a few seconds, he raised his katana and was ready to kill her. Then suddenly, they heard something explosion from a distance. He lowered his weapon to see what's going on there. He asked one of the confessors.

Shizaku: Contact them. I want to know what's going on there.

He nodded. Before he contacted them, they heard another one. A third explosion sounds and 4 Nod militants in the distance running to the corner, some firing at an unknown enemy. Surprisingly, Team WBY, Oobleck, Roman, Neo and the GDI forces run around the corner. Shizaku grew angry as he saw GDI forces were with those people and going to attack his men. Ruby decides to wait until Shizaku removes his foot while he is distracted. She takes her opportunity by jumping on him then uses her semblance to escape. Varkham shouted at his men.

Varkham: Kill her! Kill her now!

Varkham and his confessor cabals fired at her, but they missed every shot of her as she kept running. He raised his rotary rifle and was about to shoot her but Shizaku lowered his gun and he said to him.

Shizaku: We must not waste time. Ready the train. We're moving now.

Varkham: Yes, Executor Shizaku.

He said. Shizaku put his katana into a cover from his belt and went to a train.

Ruby is able to dodge the bullets and lasers from some Nod forces behind. She kept running until she was stopped by 4 same militants as they pointed their guns at her. A huge explosion appears behind the Nod militants, sending them flying and revealing Yang behind them. Ruby jumps into her sister's arms.

Yang: Ruby!

Weiss: Are you okay?

Ruby: Well...

Yang saw her sister's face covered in bruises.

Yang: Who did this to you! I swear, I will make them p-

Ruby: I'm fine and there's no time for this! The Nods, they're here!

Roman: We already know. We encounter a group of resistances and well, they won't stand a chance.

Ruby: But it's worse, they got all kinds of weapons and robots down there. They also got their robots.

Blake: What!?

She handed a weapon to her.

Ruby: Androids, mech, and Nod robots, they all loaded up on the train.

Oobleck: Ahhh, that's ridiculous. These tunnels are sealed, the tracks lead to a dead-end.

Shizaku: * across a speaker system* Attention to Nod brothers, don't let them get on a train. We'll be leaving now.

Neo:' That can't be good.'

They caught the attention of the gun fired and they fired back at them. Few of reapers, militant rocker squads, militant squads & some centurions stayed behind as the train started to move. Team RWBY, Oobleck, Roman and Neo are taking cover behind a crate while the GDI forces keep fighting at them as they kill some of them. Then, Yang has to say to others.

Yang: Well, it sounds like they're going somewhere.

Ruby: We need backup. I called Ozpin to tell Jaune about this.

He contacts Ozpin on her scroll but the flashes are low signal due to the underground blocking a CCT tower.

Roman: Well, your scroll won't work. My Smartscroll will.

He contacts on his Smartscroll but unfortunately, it has no signal as well. He angrily said.

Roman: What!? No signal!

Neo:' Geez... Talking about signals.'

Blake: So what are we going to do?

Ruby ready her crescent rose as she said.

Ruby: We're going to stop that train!

...

GDI objective: Prevent the train from reaching the dead end

Nod objective: Crush through the dead-end to breach Vale by bringing Grimms into the city

At a train car, a militant is standing on the train when he hears a sound and looks back to see a rose petal. He used his communication device.

Nod militant: Sir, we got con-

Then, he was knocked out as Oobleck hit his head with his weapon.

To the front of the train, a militant opens the door and warns Executor Shizaku about the intruders.

Nod Militant: Sir! They're on the train.

Shizaku: Detach the cars and then, kill those heathens.

He nodded as he closed the door.

Team RWBY, Oobleck, Roman & Neo are standing on top of the train.

Oobleck: Everyone, we must get to the train before it hits the dead end.

Weiss: Uh... Professor.

Oobleck: Doctor...

She pointed down a hatch into a train to see a device.

Weiss: What's that?

He kneels to take a look as he says to them.

Oobleck: That my dear.. appears to be a bomb.

Team RWBY, Roman and Neo all cringe away from the hatch.

Ruby: We've got baddies!

she pointed at dozens of Nod militants and Devouts climbing onto the top of the train and going to approach them.

Oobleck: Well, I didn't expect them to go-

The bomb underneath them charges up and starts beeping.

Oobleck: -Easy on us...

Roman: Oh Oum, no!

Oobleck: Time to go!

He said as he stood up. As Team RWBY, Roman, and Neo start running away, Oobleck stops Blake.

Oobleck: Blake! Detach the caboose! It will kill us all!

Blake: On it!

She jumps down onto the connectors and get ready to cut the connection, but as she does, the connection comes loose on its own.

Blake: Huh?

She looked up at Oobleck and she said.

Blake: It decoupled itself!

Oobleck: What?!

Yang: I guess he doesn't want us on this train.

As Oobleck looks back at the detached cart, it explodes in the tunnel.

Oobleck: That's not good...

Roman standing next to another open hatch as there's another bomb in a train car, he said to them.

Roman: Uh... There's another one here!

Blake: Another bomb?!

Oobleck looks around and runs to the next train car.

Oobleck: No. No. No.

He opens the hatch and looks in, then yells back to the others.

Oobleck; They all have bombs!

Roman: Holy shit! These guys are crazy!

Ruby: Swear!

The bomb under them charges up & starts beeping and the cart they're on detaches itself, forcing them to run to the next cart.

Yang: This doesn't make sense!

The Nod forces are getting approached near them, a hatch door opens revealed a militant as he pointed at them.

Nod militant: Get them!

Team RWBY, Roman, and Neo jump forward to attack the incoming Nod forces. A militant goes to swing his sword at Yang but he is caught off guard as Yang kicks at his leg, then punches upward and slam down to the ground before she gives him a wink in her eye. Blake uses her semblance to dodge the bullets from both Nod militants squads and Devouts, she swings her katana and cleaver at them only to realize they don't have auras which means they can be killed. Blake was shocked and traumatized to never shed blood to another blood. But she has to focus as she continues to fight the enemy. Weiss used her glyph to dash attack towards the enemy in a straight line. Ruby launches herself with her sniper and attacks a few of them with her scythe in the path. Roman fired his flare gun at Devout to kill him effectively, another Devout fired his armament arm-mounted gatling cannon at him. But Neo jumped in and blocked it with her umbrella. She went towards him as she kicked at his body then knocked him out of the train.

Roman: Thanks, Neo.

She nodded at him and went back to fight Nod forces.

Oobleck turns around and watches the detached train car explode. Only this time, it creates a hole following multiple types of Grimm to emerge.

Oobleck: Oh, dear...

The horde of Grimm begins advancing quickly toward the runaway train. He yelled at them.

Oobleck: He's leading Grimm to the city!

Weiss: What?

Oobleck: It's the cars! They detach and explode, creating openings for the Grimm!

Blake: That's insane!

Roman knocked a militant out of the train with his cane.

Roman: These Nods are much more insane than the white fang!

Another train car detaches itself. Oobleck said to them.

Oobleck: We have to hurry!

He then said to Weiss, Blake, and Yang.

Oobleck: You three, go below and try to stop those bombs!

Ruby: What about us?

Oobleck: We're going to stop this train.

Ruby: Yeah, I know. I said that earlier.

She states, causing a teacher to frown uncomfortably. Neo appears behind him, pats him on his shoulder before they go to the next train car.

They move forward the train as ruby, Oobleck, Neo and Roman advance through each train car. As they continue towards the front train, a centurion jumps on the train car and confronts their foe.

Oobleck: We have a problem!

Roman: I can see that, doc.

He states. Oobleck takes a few gulps from his thermos before transforming into a weapon mode, a small flame burning at its tip. Ruby and the others did the same thing.

Nod centurion: You will die by the hands of the Brotherhood.

Roman: And you are just a huge piece of junk.

He mocking a centurion. It activates his reflector shield as he stands on the top of the train. It fires a cannon at them but Neo jumps into it and blocks it. Roman and Oobleck fired their both weapons at a centurion. It blocks their attacks with its reflector shield and fires back at them. Ruby uses her semblance to go around and then cut it off the torso in half. Another centurion jumps on the train car until Roman fires at the leg causing it to kneel then Ruby hits on the head with her scythe.

Militants jumped into WF paladin and piloted it as it was ready to attack them. Ruby saw it and was ready to fight only both Oobleck & Roman fired at WF paladin piloting by Nod militant, they destroyed it effectively with a combined attack. They continue fighting against the Nod forces as best as they can.

Weiss, Yang & Blake can enter the train car. Yang said.

Yang: I guess this is what we trained for.

Weiss reaches into her pouch and gives Blake a magazine filled with dust vials.

Weiss: Here, this should help you.

Blake slides the mag into Gambol Shroud, and then the three of them charge forward. Suddenly, 5 Confessors appeared in front of them and blocked their path.

Yang; You two go ahead. I'll take care of these guys.

Blake and Weiss proceed forward. As confessors ready to open fire at them, Yang fires around to distract them, allowing Blake and Weiss to continue. Yang went to cover as the confessors fired at her. As she takes cover, she needs to think fast before they will kill her even if her aura can't save her. She jumps out of hiding as she blasts at 2 confessors and kills them. She was shocked that she did kill them. She regained consciousness when she heard the gunshots from the confessors and went to take cover.

In the next train car, Blake and Weiss are seen running, and then look at each other when they hear the sound of revving up ahead. A figure is seen wielding a chainsaw sword on a grasp. It is revealed to none other than Grand Confessor Varkham.

Weiss: You go ahead.

Blake: Got it!

Varkham holds up his chainsaw sword and is ready to fight. The two huntresses-in-training charge forward, with Blake deflecting an attack as Weiss flips backward. Weiss delivers multiple strikes at Varkham, he moves back as he ready his weapon. Weiss then smiles at Blake as she proceeds to the next car. Once she left, Varkham would like to tell her before he would kill her.

Varkham: So... You must be Weiss Schnee.

Weiss: Yes? How did you know me?

Varkham: We have our ways. But enough about that, I will end your life here.

Weiss holds up Myrtenaster en garde. Two of them clash together as the battle begins.

In the next train car, Blake stops to see a figure wearing a dark trench coat with Nod insignia at his arm. He was just standing there, not looking at his opponent. Blake feels her hands sweating to face the leader of the Nod operation. He turned around as his eyes were closed. Blake sees him wearing a mouth gas mask which is curious about why he needed to wear it. Then he spoke out his word to her.

Shizaku: So...

He opens his eyes as he looks at Blake.

Shizaku: You have come to destroy our operation? Pathetic, what a waste of time coming to face me.

Blake: You people are murderers! Killing those innocent people from another world where Tiberium spreads like a disease. You're killin them for no reason!

She shouted. Shizaku didn't say a word as he drew his katana and went towards her at full speed, Blake used her shadow semblance to dodge it from Shizaku swinging his katana at her. She attacks him with everything she got, but he's too fast as he deflects every attack without a sweat. He goes to attack her but he was caught off guard by her fire dust clone as it explodes sending him flying and he landed on the ground with her feet. He attacks on her when she is able to block it with her cleaver. He kicks on her stomach and goes swinging at her but she uses her earth dust clone to escape, he slices ahead of earth dust and goes to look at Blake as she ready her weapons to fight against him.

Weiss used glyphs to attack Varkham He blocks every attack as he deflects it. He grabbed his gun in one hand and fired at her. She blocks the bullets using her glyphs as a shield, she proceeds to attack by using speed glyphs then summon a few glyphs to surround him. She boosts her attack as she goes towards him and attacks everything she gotta hit him. He took a lot of damage as she kept attacking him, she stopped using her semblance and prepared for a final blow. Unfortunately for her, she was caught off guard when he grabbed her face in a fast reaction and slammed into the floor and threw her into the air as he swung at her.

Yang finish defeat a confessor as another confessor went to hand-to-hand combat at her. He dodges Yang's attacks as she tries to punch him, he ducks down and kicks at her legs as she falls. Another confessor draws his saber sword and is ready to stab her but Yang rolls over as he misses it. She stands up and fires her gauntlet shotgun at a confessor and he is killed. The last confessor draws his saber sword and pointed at her en garde. Two of them begin to fight as a confessor goes attack first. She dodges it as a confessor misses his target. He turns his head around to see Yang give him a wink of her eye before she punches at his back so hard, he sent flying until he crushes on the wall. She takes a deep breath before she went to the next train car.

Blake is tired as she tries to deflect Shizaku attacks but he's too fast. She used her shadow semblance to escape but only this time, he grabbed her throat quickly. She tried to struggle to release but he's too strong. She tried to raise her weapon at him but he grabbed her arm as he disarmed her. He choke her neck harder as she is trying to breathe. While she was being choked, he said to her with a dark voice.

Shizaku: I told you, it's a waste of time coming to face me...

As he continues choking on her, The door was destroyed by Weiss when she was being thrown by Varkham. He approaches Weiss as he steps on her, she screams in pain. Blake looks at her friend being beaten by a grand confessor. Varkham looks at Shizaku as he gives him a nod to kill Weiss in front of her. Varkham replies as he raises his chainsaw sword ready to kill her until Yang comes and she fires at Varkham. He got blasted as he flew and got hit on the ground. He felt a lot but he survived. Shizaku let go of Blake as he stepped back, she dropped on the floor as she was coughing from being choked. Yang helped Blake to stand up then they helped Weiss to get up as well. They look at both of them okay and they are ready to fight once more. Instead of continuing fighting, Shizaku grabbed a tactical grenade launcher from a hidden pocket and fired at the wall creating a hole. Varkham stood up and went out of the hole. Shizaku said to them before putting back his katana.

Shizaku: Someday, we will meet again.

He jumped out of the hole to escape. Yang and the others look outside of the hole to see them disappear.

...

Meanwhile, Ruby and the others are busy fighting WF paladin piloting by Nod militants. Oobleck is on top of WF paladin as he attacks it then jumps out from a mech. Ruby ready her weapon as well as Oobleck, they both fired at the legs, knocking it off the train. Another WF paladin from behind approaches them. Oobleck said to them.

Oobleck: Ruby and Neo, you go ahead.

Roman: Your teacher and I will take care of them.

Ruby: But-

Oobleck: Don't worry, Ruby. It's time... I teach them a lesson.

He said. Oobleck and Roman go to take on two oncoming WF paladin. Ruby & Neo look at each other's faces before they go forward. As they get there, Blake, Weiss, and Yang come up from a train car, they see its almost reach to the dead end. Ruby looks on worriedly as she realizes the train is on a collision course with a thick concrete wall.

Blake: What do we do?

Ruby and Weiss smile at each other, and the latter forms an ice shield to protect her teammates including Neo, bracing themselves for the impending crash. The train crashes into the wall causing the explosions.

Ruby opens her eyes as she sees a blur vision until it's clear to see they're in Vale square filled with people standing there. As they can stand up, a black snake-like creature emerges from a hole as a few types of Grimms come to the surface, attacking the civilians. They panicked and ran away from the Grimms, they chased them to the street, they scared the people as they ran away. Now, Team RWBY and Neo seeing the Vale square are overrun by a type of Grimms and they hope they can save people by killing every monster that is a threat to innocent lives.

GDI objective: Failed

Nod objective: Complete
