Today was one of the very few days that the team didn't have Volleyball practice.

Because of this everyone was left with a free afternoon that they didn't know what to do with.

"Hey Tsuki? What do you want to do today?" Yamaguchi asked as he looked up at his tall friend.

"We can go to my house and watch movies?" Tsukishima suggested as he wrapped a protective arm over Yamaguchi's shoulders when he saw a few girls gigling while looking at him.

"Sounds good Tsuki!" Yamaguchi replied with a smile as he wrapped an arm around Tsukishima's waist, leaning into the unexpected embrace.

"WAIT! TSUKISHIMA KEI ARE YOU BEING SOFT?!" Someone yelled making Tsukishima and Yamaguchi both stop and look twards whoever it was.

"No I'm not now fuck off Noya." Tsukishima said with an eyeroll.

"That is no way to talk to you senpi! Also yes you are! Look, you have your arm around Yamaguchi right now!" Noya yelled drawing the attention of a few random kids passing by.

"That doesn't mean I'm being soft. Come on Yama, let's go." Tsukishima stated, his tone stiffening when he was talking to Yamaguchi.

"Okay Tsuki." Yamaguchi said happily as they started to turn back around and head twards Tsukishima's house.

"Asahi! Look! Tsukishima is being nice! You'll probably never see that again!" Noya yelled to his boyfriend as he pointed at Yamaguchi and Tsukishima walking away.

Tsukishima flipped him the bird as they continued walking getting an offended gasp from the smallest Volleyball player of their team.

"Come on Noya, we can go get some ice cream. You know Tsukishima isn't very nice." Asahi said instantly making Noya brighten.

"Yay! Ice cream!!!" He cheered before grabbing Asahi's hand and dragging him twards the closets ice cream shop.

Asahi just chuckled and allowed Noya to lead the way.

*Focusing on Yamaguchi and Tsukishima*

"What did Noya-senpi mean when he said you are being soft? This is how you normally act." Yamaguchi asked as he and Tsukishima walked twards a small park deciding to make best of the nice weather while it lasted and that they would watch a movie later.

"Ignore him, he was just being stupid." Tsukishima stated as the two walked over to the swings.

"Okay Tsuki." Yamaguchi replied as Tsukishima sat down in one of the swings, pulling Yamaguchi into his lap.

"Tsuki!" The greenet squeaked in shock as he wrapped his arms around the bean pole (aka Tsuki).

"Yes?" Tsukishima asked innocently as he moved his feet slightly making the two sway back and forth on the creeking swing.

"We are going to break the swing!" Yamaguchi said as he looked up at the bolts holding the wing up.

"We are fine, it's sturdy. It won't break and even if it did then I would be taking the pain, you would just fall on me." Tsukishima replied as he wrapped his arms around Yamaguchi's waist, the smaller boy moving so he was lowkey straddling Tsukishima.

"Well I don't want you to get hurt either Tsuki." Yamaguchi stated as he wrapped his arms around Tsukishima's chest, resting his head ontop of his shoulder.

"It won't break so I won't get hurt. Don't worry." Tsukishima said as he rested his head against Yamaguchi's.

The two were quite cuddly friends whenever they were alone because, believe it or not, Tsukishima was quite clingy.

"Is that Yamaguchi and Tsukishima?!" A loud voice asked before being sushed just as loud making the two boys look up.

"Hinata Dumbass! Do you not know how to be quiet?!" Kageyama asked as he bonked Hinata on the head making the tangerine give a yelp of pain.

"Ow Bakeyama!" Hinata whined as he rubbed his head.

Kageyama rolled his eyes before giving the top of Hinata's head a quick kiss and then walking quickly in the opposite direction.

Hinata's eyes widened as a bright blush blossomed across his face before he ran after Kageyama.

"BAKEYAMA YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT AND THEN RUN AWAY FROM ME!" He yelled as Kageyama started to run away from the flustered orange head.

"Is everyone on our team gay?" Yamaguchi asked not thinking much about the question.

"I don't think Tanaka is and I think Noya is bi so no? Also I didn't know you were gay?" Tsukishima answered making Yamaguchi's eyes widen in slight fear.

"Shi-" Yamaguchi was cut off by Tsukishima continuing. "I mean I'm gay as Hell so there is nothing to worry about."

Yamaguchi relaxed at the statement with a small smile.

"Yeah I'm gay, good to know your job homophobic. Not that I thought that you were it's ju-" Yamaguchi was once again cut off by Tsukishima.

"Its fine Yams, calm down." Tsukishima interrupted as he pulled Yamaguchi into a hug, starting to swing more.

"Gomen Tsuki." Yamaguchi replied with a small smile.

Tsukishima hummed in reply and the two stayed swinging for a while.

It eventually grew dark and so the two decided to head to Tsukishima's house to watch a movie and cuddle.

The two were talking to each other and didn't notice that they were getting close to the road.

"STOP!" Someone yelled from behind them making the two instantly freez and look away from each other.

Just them a car speed by them, clearly going past the speed limit and running a red-light.

"Are you two okay?!" Suga asked sounding worried and panicked as he and Daichi ran up to the two boy.

"Yeah, thank you for telling us to stop." Yamaguchi said with a small bow as Tsukishima nodded.

"I'm just happy you two listened, that could have been terrible. Fuck whoever that was, they shouldn't be speeding or running red lights like that!" Sugamama ranted as he hugged Yamaguchi and then Tsukishima.

Yamaguchi hugged back as Tsukishima didn't shove Suga away.

"Well we should all head home now, it's getting late. See you guys at practice tomorrow." Daichi said as he laced his hand with Suga's.

"Okay, see you then. Thanks again!" Yamaguchi said with a smile as Tsukishima nodded once again and Suga smiled at the two.

The groups separated, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima going to Tsukishima's house as Daichi and Sugawara were going to Daichi's house.

"Well that was only slightly terrifying." Yamaguchi chuckled not knowing how to deal with scarry things so he turned them into humor.

"Yeah." Tsukishima chuckled as he felt Yamaguchi link their arms together, both of them now keeping their eyes up and looking around.

By the time they had gotten to Tsukishima's house it was five thirty and dinner was ready.

"What took you two so long?" Akiteru questioned as the boys took their shoes off by the door.

"We went to the park for a while and then on our way here we almost got hit by a car. Good enough excuse?" Tsukishima sassed even though everything he said was true.

Akiteru's eyes widened, "Hit by a car?! Are you okay?!" He asked as he looked over the two boys, his protective big brother mode activated.

"We are fine, stop touching us." Tsukishima replied as he shoved Akiteru away before he could actually come near Yamaguchi.

"Good. Anyway, mom made dinner, go wash up and then come and eat." He said before walking into the kitchen to help set the table.

Yamaguchi and Tsukishima did as they were told and went to wash their hands.

*After dinner*

"Tadashi and I are going upstairs to watch a movie if you need us." Tsukishima stated after he and Yamaguchi thanked Mrs.Tsukishima for the lovely dinner.

"Okay, have fun." Mrs.Tsukishima said with a small wink towards Kei making his blush and pretend that he didn't see her.

"Come on Tada." Tsukishima said before grabbing Yamaguchi's hand and pulling him up to his bedroom where he flopped down onto his bed.

"Do you still want to watch a movie?" He asked tiredly, today had been a long day of socializing and he was very tired from it.

"We don't have to if you don't want to." Yamaguchi replied as he layed down next to Tsukishima, the salty boy wrapping his arms around him and barried his face into his hair.

"Before you get to comfortable we need to get changed into pajamas, then we can cuddle." Yamaguchi's said with a smile and blush.

He and Tsuki had always been cuddly friends but he still couldn't get over the butterflys he felt every time Tsuki showed him any form of affection.

"Fine." Tsukishima grumbled as he let Yamaguchi go so they could both change.

Yamaguchi left for the bathroom to change while Tsukishima changed in his room.

When the two were done they fell back onto the bed and instantly cuddled each other.

"You know Tsuki... we could have died today because of that car. That made me realize that life is uncontrollable. Saying this I'm going to tell you something that could potentially kill our friendship but could also turn it into something different." Yamaguchi said, his voice slightly muffled by Tsukishima's chest.

"I like you too Yams, will you be my boyfriend?" Tsukishima asked making Yamaguchi sit up and look at him.

"You didn't even let me confess! But yes I will be your boyfriend." Yamaguchi said with a small pout before it turned into a smile.

Tsukishima smiled back at him as he cuddled back up to his chest.

"G'night Tsuki." Yamaguchi mumbled as Tsukishima brought him closer, Yamaguchi now laying ontop of him.

"Goodnight Tada." Tsukishima muttered before the two into a peaceful slumber.
