Red POV
Today was my 19th birthday.Like all the years, I'm celebrating with my fake partner.Why do You May Ask?Well, my real parents died when I was really young so I don't know who or how they look like, and all my friends are gone...since the incident.

-flashback-
"Cmon Blue!We are finally going to meet our juniors!Aren't you excited?"I was pumped.We were to meet our junior Dexholder agents after not being allowed to for 2 years.We work for the Pokédex organization.I was Red, code name, the fighter.

"Oh course Red!Who wouldn't want to meet our little juniors?"Blue chirped.
"I don't..."I heard a low voice grumble from behind us.
"Don't Be So Grumpy Greenie!"Blue teased, fastening her pace.I laughed as I heard Green grumble and call her by his nickname for her,'Pesky woman'.Blue and Green, were part of my team of agents.Our team was called the Kanto Team since we are all from the Kanto region.There is another girl called, Yellow, in our group but she went to go meet Lance, our boss, for some reason.

I looked ahead, we were almost at the door, to where our juniors were!
"ALERT ALERT!!INTRUDER ALERT!!"The alarm blared in our ears.We all grumbled as we turned around and took to our heels.We all sprinted to the weapons room to get our Pokémon.

I reached out to press the button to access my Pokémon, but then, a loud crash made the ground rumble, which caused us all to fall down.We heard footsteps getting louder and louder.There was no time to spare!All three of us jumped out the window as we ran.We didn't expect much, but then...

"BOOM!"We heard from a distance.We turned to look back as we saw the building in rubble.The rubble was on fire.All we could hope for was that everyone was safe, especially our juniors.I turned to look at Green and Blue who were deep in thought, until Green's head snapped up.

"This is happening...we must all leave."Green said in a serious tone.
"W-what do you mean?"For once,Blue actually sounded serious and wasn't joking around.She didn't even call him Greenie!
"We must all go our separate ways...this unknown team has found our base and attacked us.We must live normal lives, unless you want to get caught.All our data is deleted thanks to Blue's hacking skills."I was shocked when he actually called her Blue and not pesky woman.

"So now we all go.Live separate lives.New identities."Green said as he passed me a confidential folder.I eyed it curiously and opened it.

New name:Ash Ketchum
Region:Kanto
Home town:Pallet town
Guardian:Delia Ketchum

I peeped at Blue's folder.

New name:Leaf Green
Region:Kanto
Home town:Pallet town
Guardian:none...

"Sigh...why is my name Leaf?"She asked.Green just shrugged and said.
"Lance made this in case of emergencies so don't ask me."Green said as I went over to peep at his folder.

New name:Gary Oak
Region:Kanto
Home town:Pallet town
Guardian:Professor Oak

"I guess we have to use these new identities now..."I trailed off thinking off one person...Yellow.

"Do you think our juniors, plus Yellow, got this too?"Blue asked as we turned to Green.

"Yes."He said.I wonder if I'll ever meet Yellow again.

"Now We part.It was nice know you guys...maybe we will meet in future."Blue said as she then dashed off into the wilderness.
"Bye, Red-I mean Ash."He called before he walked off.

So I guess I'm Ash Ketchum...till we are in the safe to reveal our identities.(Don't judge the names)

-end of flashback-
I sigh as I recall the last time I saw my friends.
"Hey Ash, why don't you go to the attic and pick out a gift, and let's say it's from your grandfather."My 'mom' told me as I sighed and trudged up the stairs of my home.Why must my identity name be Ash?

I reached the attic and sneezed from all the dust.I walk in a look around.Not much here.Something then catches my eye.A Pokeball!Nice!I run over to the Pokeball and put it in my pocket.I took all 10 Pokeballs and turned back to leave, not before knocking something over.
I mental groan, why me?!

I bend over to pick up the fallen object, a box.Curiosity got the better of me, so I opened it.A note and a map.But the map was only a part of the whole thing.Looks like this is the first piece of the map, considering that the back of the map had the number one on it.The note was old and looked pretty torn, but I could still read it.

My eyes scanned through the note.

Only a Dexholder, May see this.

You don't need to know who I am, that's not important.You must be the first dexholder.Since you have found the first map piece and this note.All the other Dexholders have the other piece of the map.Why is this so important?Well, the world is at stake.Team Rocket, has been developing enhanced technology and you need to stop them.You think you can do this alone?No.You have to be united with all the Dexholders to stop them.Good luck.Don't fail, the world is at stake.

Looks like the time has come...to gather the Dexholders, once again.

I look at the map and see a yellow dot on it.Must be the location of the other Dexholders.

I dash down with my bag pack all packed and I give my 'mom' a hug and bid her farewell as I run out to go meet the next dexholder.

I wonder who I'm about to meet.
