Everyone was surprised at seeing the young Earl before they clapped giving out soft whispers of curiosity. He stood there letting his arms fall back to his side, the cane right next to him.

"Please enjoy the ball, my servants with help with anything that you need." Earl Wolfin smiled before the lights returned to the room letting everyone see him fully. Ciel and Alois stared at him not having been fully informed he was the same age as themselves.

The crowd began to mingle once more as Wolfin walked down giving greeting to everyone, making his way towards the other earls. The butlers guided their masters towards each other glaring at one another. Ciel let Lizzy go as she looked towards Wolfin giving a smile as he stopped in front of them.

"Good evening, I do hope you are enjoying the ball so far."

Lizzy nodded lacing her hands together, she looked to Alois then Ciel before gazing at Wolfin.

"Oh, yes we are! It's so beautiful and the servants are so very kind!"

Wolfin smiled at the good news and chuckled some as Ciel gave him a small glare.

"I never fully introduced myself, I am Kai Wolfin."

He took Lizzy's hand and kissed the back of it, he wore a small smirk at seeing a light blush dust her cheeks. Standing up he looked to Alois and Ciel, his smirk growing.

"Lord Trancy, Lord Phantomhive, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. After all we all share a common goal."

His eyes looked to the butlers before he looked back to them.

"I do hope you enjoy the evening." He dipped his head and wondered off to talk with a group of men.

Ciel glared at his back his one eye full of a new found fire of hatred. Alois watched his back with narrowed eyes but non the less was more curious of him then anything. Lizzy however was flushed as he was a fine looking boy, but she reminded herself she loved Ciel and only Ciel.

The two butlers glared once more before following their masters off to one of the many tables filled with food.

--3 hours later--

Almost all of the guest had left the mansion but a handful. As suddenly thunder cracked through the air and rain poured down.

Ciel sighed, pinching the brim of his nose in annoyance, his butler almost did the same wishing to return back home. Alois, on the other hand, was grinning from ear to ear at hearing the rain and thunder. His butler could almost smirk at seeing his enemy grimace. Lizzy was no where to be seen in the room, causing Ciel to look around, some what worried.

As if feeling his worry Lizzy came rushing in, but with another girl behind her. Her bright smile widened at seeing Ciel and raced over taking the girl with her.

"Ciel! I've found someone you should meet!"

Lizzy stood in front of him letting the unknown girl be seen. Her long dark brown hair was braided at the sides showing off her pale face, her large doe brown/grey eyes stared at him, embarrassed. She looked down shyly playing with her hands before speaking.

"Hello, Lord Phantomhive, I am Elena Riven."

She curtsied to him as he bowed back, Ciel returned to standing straight. Alois skipped over and kissed the back of her hand smirking.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Riven."

His voice a purr causing her to blush, from the other side of the room Kai glared at them both. At the doorway, a small girl watched Elena before glaring at Sebastian and Claude. Her eyes darkened some before returning back to normal, she walked to Elena with perfect posture.

"Mi'lady..."

Elena turned around quickly and softly smiled at the girl.

"Angel!"

She ran to her smiling happily, she embraced the girl who returned it. Angel glared at Alois for a moment before letting Elena go, she could feel Claude's gaze boring at her, along with Sebastian's. Angel dismissed the looks staring straight at Alois with a burning look, her hand moved to place itself on Elena's shoulder, in a protective manager. But the Trancy only continued to smirk at Elena, his eyes scanning her repeatedly.

Tension filled the room the longer the glares, stares, and glances continued to happen. Kai rolled back his shoulders back and tapped his cane on the floor, getting everyone's attention rather quickly.

"This storm would be devastating to drive through. I have extra guest rooms for you all, we don't need any accidents happening to anyone of you. Please do make yourselves comfortable, I will have my butler and maid make us some tea."

A light smile was on his lips as he spoke, he looked to his butler—who was next to the doorway—and flicked his fingers as a way of dismissal. Kai soon returned his gaze to his guest as they moved themselves to different tables to sit, and relax. Elena shuffled towards the table nearest to Kai as she was setted properly by her maid. Trancy pouted at this but sat with Ciel grinning at him, his mood shifting quickly.

Lizzy sat next to Ciel hands laced together as she smiled at everyone at the rounded table. The demonic butlers both stood behind their masters staring at each other with hateful gazes. Kai sat himself at his table looking at Elena carefully, his eyes picking apart every detail.

The silence was broken by Kai's butler returning with a cart, the maid with another. The tea was poured and set quickly, smoothly causing Kai to smirk softly. He was proud of his servants they could do so much in so little time, his smirk only grew as he knew that they were so much more then his butler and maid. They were very special to him, and to the safety of his manor.

Kai's gaze lifted to the other occupied table as small talk was made between the three. Kai spoke out to Elena making a nice, comfortable conversation carry on.

Angel stood straight behind the chair her mistress sat in, she could fell every gaze sent her way by all the demons in the room. Not like she could help it. Even a few came from the Trancy as he seemed to now know he has no chance with Lady Riven, after seeing the death glare coming from Lord Kai. Angel smirked some as she put the pieces together on who Earl Kai Wolfin really was.
