I made some changes and additions to this timeline, along with some other stuff that'll make me change the story a bit. Also, a huge shout out to Wattpad Author WWIIFanHistory. He helped add some of his own story ideas into this timeline so give him thanks as well. If you have questions, ask him which ideas are his.)

New Authors Note:

This is the LAST time I change the FUCKING timeline! No more! From now on, after this revision, I am focusing purely on the actual story chapters! Nothing else! Whatever ideas you wanna change for the timeline, I'm not adding it. I'm just gonna focus purely on remaking and then adding the main story chapters. Only for Chapter 11 Part 3 can you give me any ideas you wish to add. Now and I'm so PLEASE leave me alone.

==========

1763: END OF THE SEVEN YEARS WAR

-On February 10, 1763, the Treaty of Paris ends the Seven Years War (French and Indian War). France surrenders all of its North American possessions east of the Mississippi to Britain. This ends a source of insecurity for the British colonists along the Atlantic Coast. The costs of the war and maintaining an army will lead the British Government to impose new taxes on all of its colonists, with world-shaking results.

-With France losing the war and Britain dictating the terms, French colonists like Quebec are now placed firmly under British control and are subjected to heavy taxation.

1765: PASSAGE OF THE TOWNSHEND ACTS AND STAMP ACT

-Britain passes Townshend Acts and Stamp Act, imposing a tax on legal documents, newspapers, even playing cards. This is the first direct tax on the Canadian colonists and is hotly resisted. A successful Canadian campaign to have the act repleaded will give Canadians confidence that they can avoid future taxes as well.

-It's not just the 13 colonies who are affected, but also territories like Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Rupert's Land, and Saint John's Island are affected heavily by these acts with negative effects. This angered all of the colonists, both Englishmen and French alike, against their British rulers.

1768: BRITISH TROOPS OCCUPY BOSTON

-British troops land in Boston to enforce the Townshend duties (taxes on paint, paper, tea, etc., passed in June 1767) and clamp down on local radicals. The troops' presence doesn't sit well with locals and leads to street fights. One clash between soldiers and a mob in March 1770 will leave five dead. Radicals will call it the Boston Massacre, while the British will call it the incident on King Street.

THE QUEBEC MASSACRE

-Ten days later, after the Boston Massacre, the citizens of Quebec began to do a protest against British rule. They were met by a large battalion of British soldiers who blocked their path, and they made it clear that they would not pass. However, the protests soon turned violent when someone fired a shot. No one knew who fired, but all of a sudden, just like the Boston Massacre, the British opened fired. The difference however is that this event was much bloodier as the British killed anyone in their sights, including children. This was mainly because the people of Quebec were French and the British really hated the French speaking people.

-This event would soon be known as the Quebec Massacre, an even worse version of the Boston Massacre that left over 75 civilians dead.

-When this act was made public, that had horrified the citizens of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Rupert's Land, and Saint John's Island. This greatly angered the people and galvanized them towards the Patriot cause against the British.

-Quebec also joined the rebels, mainly because of the freedom of religion and the British didn't like that. As a result, all of the colonies of North America rallied together to form a rebellion.

1772: COMMITTIES OF THE CORRESPONDANCE ESTABLISHED

-Committees of Correspondence is established throughout the colonies to coordinate a Canadian response to British colonial policy. This represents an important move toward cooperation, mutual action, and the development of a national identity among Canadians.

-Soon all of the colonies in British North America began to work together to end British reign and ensure their independence.

1774: BRITAN TRIES TO INTIMIDATE MASSASCHUSETTS

-The British Parliament passes the Coercive Acts, often called the Intolerable Acts in Canada. Among other actions, Britain closes the port of Boston and requires British troops to be housed in taverns and vacant buildings. The acts generate considerable sympathy for Massachusetts among other colonies, even those from the far upper north.

THE CANADIAN REVOLUTION

-On April 19, 1775, the first shots of the Revolutionary War are fired at Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. The news of the bloodshed rockets along the eastern seaboard, and thousands of volunteers converge, called 'Minutemen', on Cambridge, Mass. These are the beginnings of the Continental Army.

-George Washington is chosen to lead the Continental Army as all the colonies of British North America and its people rally together to fight for their independence.

1776: THE BIRTH OF CANADA

-On July 2, the colonies were trying to decide on the name of what to call their new country. Many in the 13 colonies wanted to call themselves Americans and name their new country America. Those in the upper northern colonies wanted to call themselves Canadians with their new country called Canada.

-Eventually the New Founding Fathers and representatives from all of the colonies came to together to vote on the new name for their national identity.

-In an extremely close vote, over 49% chose to go with the name America while 51% chose the name Canada.

-With the vote now concluded, the representatives of the North American colonies have declared their new nationality as Canadians and wish to label their new nation as Canada.

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

-On July 4, the Canadians signed the Declaration of Independence and proclaimed themselves as the United States of Canada.

-A new flag was created to identify their new nationality.

1778: FRANCE ENTERS THE WAR AGAINST BRITAIN

-Benjamin Franklin makes his way over to France to ask for an alliance against the British, hoping that they will help in the fight for Canadian Independence.

-As a result of the patriot victory at Saratoga and Canadian diplomatic efforts, France allies itself with the new American government. French financial and military aid will prove critical in winning the war. The Continental Army will learn of the French Alliance in May.

1781: BATTLE OF YORKTOWN

-A joint French and Canadian force traps a large British army on Virginia's Yorktown peninsula. Unable to evacuate or receive reinforcements because a French fleet has driven off a British fleet, General Cornwallis is forced to surrender. Although New York City and Charleston, S.C., will remain in British hands until a peace treaty is signed two years later, the war for American independence is essentially over.

1783: THE UNITED STATES OF CANADA

-The Treaty of Paris ratifies the independence of the North American Colonies which are soon transformed into states. The Founding Fathers would use this opportunity to consolidate power in order to unite North America.

1787: U.S. CONSTITUTION REPLACES ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION

-A convention of states in Philadelphia proposes the Constitution to replace the much looser central government operating under the Articles of Confederation (adopted in 1777). With amendments, the Constitution remains the framework of government in the U.S.

1789: THE PRESIDENT OF CANADA

-On April 30, 1789, George Washington is elected as the first Canadian President. John Adams is elected at the first Vice President of Canada.

THE FRENCH REVOLUTION

-Years after helping the Canadian Rebels, France in engulfed in a civil war with much of the French Royalty being executed. King Louis XVI was executed in guillotine.

-Napoleon Bonaparte begins a coup and seizes power in France. He would eventually create the French Empire and start a war in Europe.

MANIFEST DESTINY

-Many decades after the Canadian Revolution, the USC began the process of expanding westward as they seek to conquer new lands. New territories are annexed as their resources are exploited.

1793: INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

-The Industrial Revolution begins as industry and technology begin to advance at a rapid pace. Canada would also begin to industrialize as they would begin creating factories in the Northern States and those in the deep North. However, the South would still be agricultural society, made up of farmers who relied on slavery and the harvest of cotton.

-As a result, this would begin to deepen the divide between North and South for the years to come.

1803: LOUSIANA PURCHASE

-Louisiana is purchased by the USC from France. This purchase helps increase its territory and doubles its size. This also gives them access to new land beyond the Appalachian Mountains.

NAPOLEONIC WARS

-Napoleon Bonaparte would spark the Napoleonic Wars as he led a series of military campaigns against Austria, Russia, Great Britain, Portugal, Prussia, and other European powers.

-The USC became both worried and slightly terrified of the events going on in Europe. Not wanting to get involved in European affairs, Canada would stand firm on its neutrality as they wish not to get involved in events that would prove to be disastrous for their nation.

1812: WAR OF 1812

-While Canada remained neutral during the events in Europe, the British Royal Navy were raiding Canadian merchant ships and forcing the men to serve the King. This would outrage the citizens of Canada and would call to the government to declare war against Britain.

-In response to their people's demands and the forceful taking of Canadian citizens, the USC would declare war against Britain and prepare their navy for naval warfare.

-When both British and Canadian ships faced each other head on, the British Royal Navy was decimated by Canada's new Ironclad Warships.

-Britain's wooden ships were no match for these steel behemoths. Despite outnumbering the Canadian Navy by 5 to 1, the Ironclad Warships proved to be formidable opponents the British could not hope to match.

-Eventually, Britain would lose the War of 1812 and returned all of the captured Canadian citizens they forcefully took. Britain would also be forced to pay massive reparations for the attack on Canadian sovereignty.

-The conclusion of the war would sour relations between Canada and Britain for the years to come.

1815: BATTLE OF WATERLOO

-The Napoleonic Wars would eventually end during the Battle of Waterloo. Napoleon led the French Army but was defeated by two of the armies of the Seventh Coalition. This marked the end, and Napoleon would soon be exiled.

1817

-James Monroe is elected as the 5th President of the United States of Canada. His Vice President is a man named Daniel D. Tompkins.

1821

-On May 5, Napoleon Bonaparte would die to stomach cancer.

1823: MONROE DOCTRINE

-Out of fear of European Colonialism, President James Monroe would initiate the Monroe Doctrine in order to prevent any foreign power to influence the Americas.

-This was a problem for Britain as they had economic interest in South America. However, due to the devastating loss and near decimation of the British Royal Navy, they had no choice but to comply.

1828

-The Democrat Party is established.

1835: TEXAS REVOLUTION

-A series of rebellions occur in Texas as colonists who are Canadians and Tejanos (Hispanic Texans) spark an armed resistance to the centralist government of Mexico.

-This spark causes the Texas Revolution.

1836: BATTLE OF THE ALAMO

-A 13-day siege would begin in the Alamo which would result in the deaths of most of the Texans and Tejanos inside. This was ordered by President General Antonio López de Santa Anna.

-Santa Anna's cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians and Tejanos to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the rebellion in favor of the newly formed Republic of Texas.

-For those that have escaped, the survivors began to use the slogan 'Remember the Alamo' as a rallying cry for the freedom of Texas. This would also lead to a war between Canada and Mexico.

1846-1848: MEXICAN-CANADIAN WAR

-10 years later, Texas is soon annexed into Canada. However, Mexico still considered it Mexican territory because it did not recognize the Velasco treaty signed by Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna when he was a prisoner of the Texian Army during the 1836 Texas Revolution.

-Soon war would ensue between Mexico and Canada. After winning multiple battles, Canada would come out victorious. Soon both Canada and Mexico would sign the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The Rio Grande River is established as the Canadian-Mexican border. Under the treaty, Mexico recognizes the Canadian annexation of Texas and agrees to sell California, as well as all of its territory north of the Rio Grande.

-After the war, Texas was admitted as a new slave state in Canada.

1854

-The Republican Party is founded in response to the on-going issue with slavery.

HARPERS FERRY RAID

-A radical abolitionist by the name of John Brown became involved in the Abolitionist Movement. He attempted to start a rebellion in the south along with his sons as he tried to arm black slaves in order to fight for their freedom. However, his attempted 'rebellion' would be crushed due to Robert E. Lee.

-John's actions would have a negative effect on African slaves as white slave owners would enforce harsher punishments on them.

1860

-A Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln is elected as the 16th President of the United States of Canada. Under his presidency, he began the process of stopping the expansion of slavery into the newly acquired territory.

1861: CANADIAN CIVIL WAR / CANADIAN-AMERICAN WAR

-In response to Lincoln's election, the people from the Southern States began to make plans for succession. They feared that with Lincoln now in power, he would be a threat to their way of life and end slavery.

-Twelve southern states would secede from the Union. The states that seceded were North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky.

-This new faction would call themselves the Confederate States of America and its people living in the south would call themselves by their new nationality as Americans.

-This would mark the beginning of the Canadian Civil War or as it would sometimes be called, the Canadian-American War.

ROBERT E. LEE JOINS THE UNION

-Virginia would attempt to join the Confederacy, but this did not happen. Elements within the Virginian government were still loyal to the Union and managed to stage a successful coup. This was thanks to the help of Francis Pierpont and Robert E. Lee.

-Robert E. Lee was originally going to side with the Confederate cause. However, he was soon approached by Francis Pierpont who convinced him to stay loyal to the Union cause. After being convinced, Robert E. Lee would gather soldiers loyal to him and stage a coup to overthrow individuals in the Virginian Government who were sympathetic to the Confederate cause.

(A/N: Virginia doesn't secede and still stays with the Union, so no split. In this timeline, the South LOST Lee instead of gaining him as he now fights for the Union cause.)

-After Virginia was reincorporated into the Union, Abraham Lincoln approached Robert E. Lee and asked him to lead the Union Army. After some considerations, Lee agreed and would soon lead the Union Army into crushing the Confederacy.

-Ulysses S. Grant and William T. Sherman would soon rise to prominence as famous Generals. Soon Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, and William T. Sherman would work together in defeating the CSA.

-This would put immense pressure for the Confederacy and would spell doom soon.

BATTLE OF BULL RUN

-The first battle of the Civil War would begin in Bull Run. The two combatants would involve Robert. E Lee facing off against Confederate General Thomas Jonathan 'Stonewall' Jackson.

-The armies of both the Union and the Confederacy would clash. However, thanks to General Lee leadership, the Union was able to viciously win the battle and drive the Confederates back.

-The loss of this battle would be a huge blow to Confederate moral but would still hold strong during the war thanks to Stonewall Jackson. However, it would only be a matter of time before the Confederacy crumbles.

-Robert E. Lee would cement himself as one of the greatest Union Generals in Canadian History. He would also be famous for his catchphrase / slogan 'For Union! For Liberty! For Canada!'. This would later go down as one of Canada's national mottos in order to symbolize Canadian Patriotism.

BOLT ACTION RIFLES

-A 23-year-old Prussian immigrant named Gerhard Zigmund was a former weapons manufacturer from Prussia who moved to Canada and lived in Quebec. When the Canadian Civil War broke out, he decided to put his skills to work and help in the war effort in terms of weapon manufacturing.

-He would soon earn a legendary status by developing a brand-new weapon that is based on the Dreyse needle-gun used by the Prussian Military. He was marveled at the design, but he believed that he could do better. After 2 months, he was able to prefect his new weapon and has made a massive improvement compared to the single shot rifle.

-This would lead to the creation of the M1860 Zigmund. It is a Bolt-Action Rifle which is the first of its kind in history.

(A/N: I know, it's the M1903 Springfield. But this is alternate history so deal with it.)

-This new, legendary rifle would help turn the tide of war in the Union's favor. When Gerhard showed Lincoln the designs and schematics, and a live demonstration for his new invention, Lincoln would then order the mass production of this new weapon and be given to Union soldiers to help turn the tide of war in their favor.

-Also, this new weapon would lead Canada to be the only nation to use Bolt-Action Rifles for the decades to come.

THE TRENT AFFAIR

-In a desperate attempt to save their cause, the Americans would send diplomats over to Britain in order to ask for their help against the Union. However, this was stopped as the Canadian Navy captured the two diplomats and arrested them.

-The British felt insulted by this, and Lincoln tried to de-escalate the situation by releasing the two captives. However, the damage was already done, and Britain began to send a fleet of warships to Canada in order to assist the Americans in the South. Also, this course of action was done because the wanted revenge against the Canadians for the War of 1812 and for economic reasons.

-The British Royal Navy was able to smash right through the Canadian Navy as they began to land troops into Florida. Robert E. Lee was called back to defend Washington DC as Lincoln feared the British would attempt to take the capital.

-This was eventually proven true as a massive army from both the Americans and the British marched towards the Capital. Luckily, General Lee and General Grant were able to acquire the information on their troop movements.

BATTLE OF RICHMOND

-Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant would face both the British and the Americans in the city of Richmond. A massive and devastating battle would ensue which would last for 3 days. The British and Americans outnumbered the Union by 3 to 1. However, due to Lee and Grant's good leaderships skills, their knowledge of the terrain, and their use of the M1860 Zigmund, the Union was able to win the battle and turn to tide of the war in their favor.

(A/N: This is essentially an alternate version of the Battle of Gettysburg.)

1862: INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN HELP

-Due to the recent Union victories over in North America, Canada would receive help in the form of Prussia, China, and Russia coming to their aid.

-Both Prussia and Russia would then send troops over to Canada in order to stop the British and push for the total destruction of the Confederacy. Prussia favored the Union due to the fact that many German speaking people were pro-Union. So much so that many Germans would sail to Canada to fight for the Union. As for Russia, Tsar Alexander II was an outspoke ally for Lincoln and pushed for the total destruction of the Confederacy. Furthermore, he was very sympathetic to the abolitionist movements in Canada. For China, they realized that many of their people were fighting on the Union side and sought to help the Union cause by sending volunteers to crush both the British and the Americans.

-Furthermore, a majority of the British public supported the Union and were outraged at the fact they were supporting a cause that involves slavery when they themselves abolished it. Also, many, many thousands of people living in the British Isles, overwhelmingly Irish, went to Canada to fight for the Union.

-With the Irish in the war, this would lead to the creation of the famous Irish Brigade.

-Eventually Britain was forced out of the war due to the international pressure from their own people, the intervention of other foreign powers, and the heavy losses, especially from a Canadian Naval counterattack, which would force the United Kingdom to retreat and were forced to pay massive reparations for the destruction and damages they caused towards Canada.

-As the years would go on, this would see the rise of Anti-British sentiments becoming common place throughout the whole of Canada.

UNION VICTORY

-After a year and a half of fighting, the Union would be victorious in the Canadian Civil War and the Confederacy was fully crushed on June 14, 1862. The casualties ranged from over 220,000 Canadians dead, both Union and Confederates combined.

(A/N: With Lee joining on the side of the Union, the Civil War would end quicker and be less destructive.)

-Abraham Lincoln would soon begin the reconstruction act and meld relations with the North and South.

-Unfortunately, despite the Union victory, slavery would still be allowed to persist in the many decades to come. This was mainly because Abraham Lincoln was more concerned about preserving the Union rather than ending slavery. African Canadians such as Harriet Tubman and Fredrick Douglass were found and deported back to the South where they become slaves again. Likewise, their families would also become salves as they are now forced to work in the plantations in the harshest way possible.

-Under his orders, Lincoln would order the destruction of the Underground Railroad and that all escaped slaves are to be returned to their owners. Lincoln didn't want to do this but knew that he couldn't risk another civil war. As stated before, Lincoln's only concern was preserving the Union and stopping the expansion of Slavery. This, however, did not mean he was going to end it as he knew that eventually the concept of slavery was going to end in Canada.

-Before Lincoln ended his presidency, he would secretly create the Emancipation Proclamation. This was a means of freeing all slaves in Canada and would install the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment into the constitution. However, the proclamation would only be initiated should a military crisis occur against foreign powers. In case of absolute emergency, the Emancipation Proclamation would be allowed to take into effect.

-Future Canadian Presidents would be aware of the document and agree to carry it out in case of extreme emergencies.

-Men like John Wilkes Booth would be angry at Abraham Lincoln but would never attempt to assassinate him. However, despite being a famous actor, he didn't hide his contempt and hatred for the man as he made it clear that he viewed Lincoln as a Northern Tyrant and Lee a traitor to the southern cause.

1865

-After Abraham Lincoln was called out of office, Robert E. Lee is elected as the 17th President of the United States of Canada. Ulysses S. Grant was also voted into office as Vice President.

-Lincoln asked Lee to help in the North-South reconciliation which he did so reluctantly. The tension was still high, but due to using his status at being the Hero of the Union and a son of the South, he would be able to help in melding and better relations between the North and South.

-In a very controversial move, Robert E. Lee would commence the creation of new slave states. States like California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico were re-organized into slave states. This move was made in order to keep the balance of power between free and slave states, mainly due to the fact that the northern part of upper Canada was still free. This would help de-escalate tensions... in the south anyway.

-Due to this move, many northerners were outraged at this, none more so than the radical republicans. Still no action was taken, and slavery would still be allowed to exist for the decades to come. To compensate for this, Robert E. Lee would dictate that the state of Virginia would become a free state and that slavery was to be abolished. Some in the Virginian Government didn't like this, but they did so anyway. This helped ease tensions with the North, especially the radical elements of the Republicans... sort of.

-Robert E. Lee would come across the Emancipation Proclamation and would be sure to keep it until the time was right for it to be announced. He still followed Lincoln's plan of keeping the document until the time was right.

(A/ N: In this timeline, the KKK and the Jim Crow Laws do not exist. Yes, slavery would exist much longer and would only end during the 1900s. This is bad for Africans in the short term but will get much better in the long term.)

1866: CANADA BECOMES FEDERAL

-In the wake of the Canadian Civil War or Canadian-American War, the Federal Government would be able to initiate more power as they would help to unify the country into a single government instead of a loose confederation.

-However, for the decades to come, there still would be a rivalry between Northern Republicans and Southern Democrats.

1867: ALASKA PURCHASE

-Due to economic reasons and losing the Crimean War, Russia would approach America in selling the territory of Alaska. After the Canadian Civil War, talks began and after much discussion, Canada would buy the territory of about 7, 200,000 million dollars. The main reason Russia wanted to sell this land because of the difficulty living there and an apparent lack of resources. This of course would later prove be of poor judgement on the side of Russia because as it turns out Alaska was actually rich with oil fields and gold.

1869: RUSSO-CANADIAN ALLIANCE

-Robert E. Lee would no longer be President and would eventually retire to a farm where he would live out in quit isolation. His successor would be Ulysses S. Grant who is now the 18th President of the United States of Canada. A man named John A. MacDonald is elected as Vice President.

-Under their leadership, President Grant and VP MacDonald would meet Tsar Alexander II in a proposal for an alliance. This was mainly because Canadian government officials would discover untapped resources in Russia, and they wanted access to it.

-Soon both Canada and Russia would enter into talks and the two nations would agree to an alliance. The alliance was a win-win situation as Canada would have access to the vast untapped resources and wealth in Russia, especially its oil. For the Russian Empire, they would have access to the industrial power of the Canadian States as it would help transform them from being an agricultural society to a massive industrial power.

-Because of this, it would lead to the creation of the Russo-Canadia Alliance, and it would mark the beginning of a golden age of trade and prosperity between Russia and Canada.

1870: SECOND INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

-The Second Industrial Revolution would begin as it would begin the phase of rapid scientific discovery, standardization, mass production, and industrialization from the late 19th century into the early 20th century.

1871: THE BIRTH OF GERMANY

-After the North-German Confederation won a war against France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870–1871), German leaders would come together to create the German Empire.

-Russia and Canada saw the potential of Germany's industrialized state as it can be used as a potential boon for them. Both Russia and Canada despised Britain, especially during their actions during the Civil War. As a result, both nations hoped they could have Germany as a potential ally against Britain as anti-British sentiments were high.

1873-1887: THE LEAGUE OF THE THREE EMPERORS

-An alliance is formed between Germany, Russia, and Austria-Hungary to form the League of Three Emperors. Although there were problems at first due to circumstances, Canada would intervene as they saw the potential in the alliance for economic and military reasons. After some discussions and negotiations, as well as bringing in the Ottoman Empire to discuss terms, the League of Three Emperors was in full swing and would agree to keep the alliance permanent.

-Soon, the League is later joined by the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Bulgaria as they saw the benefits thanks to Canada.

1882: SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLES

-Gerhard Zigmund was called in as the Canadian Government would ask him to develop a self-loading, semi-automatic rifle. He agreed and began to work in making the new weapon.

-This would eventually lead to the creation of the Semi-Automatic, Gas-Powered M1890 Zigmund, the new standard battle rifle for the Canadian military. It now fires 30-06 Caliber ammunition rounds.

(A/N: Yes, it the M1 Garand, but it has a different name in this alternate timeline.)

THE MELTING POT IDEOLOGY

-From the 1880s to the 1920s, millions of people, mostly from Europe, immigrated to Canada which sparked a large increase in population in the sisters. The USC witnessed a large influx of immigrants from west, south, and eastern Europe. Some coming in from Russia, but the majority of immigrants were from Germany. There was even a massive influx of immigrants approaching from Asia as well though the majority of immigrants were from Europe. The ideals of a new life in the new world enthralled Europeans, Russians, and Asians. In fact, so many immigrants ventured from Europe it was actually one of the major causes of Europe's decline in population.

-The only exception was Africa due to the fact that Canada still upheld the constitution of slavery. In fact, a majority of the immigrants arriving in Canada were utterly disgusted that slavery was still allowed to exist while the rest of the world got rid of the concept.

-However, no British immigrants were allowed into Canada due to the fact that anti-British sentiments were at an all-time high due to the War of 1812 and their involvement in the Canadian Civil War. As a result, many British citizens arriving in Canada were forcefully deported back to Britain, something that would sour relations between the two countries even further to the point of open hostilities.

1898: SPANISH-CANADIAN WAR

-Canada would declare war against Spain due to the destruction of the UCS Maine in Havana Harbor within Cuba. As a result of this and the Spanish atrocities being publicized, the people of Canada wanted blood.

-With no choice, Republican President William McKinley would declare war against Spain on April 21 under the slogan 'Remember the Maine, to hell with Spain!'.

-When the actual fighting began between Canadians and Spanish, with went amazingly well for the people of Canada. This was largely thanks to the use of the M1890 Zigmund rifles which gave Canadian Troops a significant advantage over their Spanish adversaries due to better firepower.

-In the Philippines, Commodore George Dewey decisively defeated the Spanish fleet during the Battle of Manila Bay. Furthermore, a Filipino Revolutionary named Emilio Aguinaldo was able to free the Philippines thanks to Canadian support.

-During the battle in Cuba, a man named Theodore Roosevelt would lead the Rough Riders in the fight against the Spanish during the Battle of Las Guasimas and San Juan Hill.

NEW ERA OF MACHINE GUNS

-As the war progresses, Canadian Military Generals realize the need for more mobile firepower. Taking inspiration from Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim's machine gun called the Maxim Gun, Canada makes history by being the first nation to develop and create the first light machine gun called the M1890 Browning LMG.

-With this new weapon system, Canadian forces use this new LMG with devastating effect, causing mass casualties among Spanish forces as a result.

BATTLE OF SANTIAGO DE CUBA

-The largest naval battle of the war would commence as it would lead to the total annihilation of the Spanish Fleet by the Canadian Navy.

THE SPANISH LOSING

-Eventually Puerto Rico was invaded, and the island was taken, but not without a heavy cost.

-The war soon began to turn against Spain as their forces were on the run and their naval fleet were sunk to the bottom of the ocean. This forced Spain to sue for peace, ending the war.

ANNEXATION OF CUBA AND PUERTO RICO

-After the war, Canada and Spain entered signed a peace treaty in which Spain would lose Hawaii, Cuba and Puerto Rico as Canada annexed the three nations. Cuba and Puerto Rico are turned into slave states as white slave owners bring African Canadians into the new lands as they are forced to work in the fields under harsh conditions.

-Deciding to keep their end of the bargain, Canada would allow the Philippines to be fully independent and Emilio Aguinaldo would be elected as the new leader. Canadian ships would leave the nation, but not before signing a trade agreement between the two nations.

1901-1909

-A Republican by the name of Theodore Roosevelt is elected as the 26th President of the United States of Canada. He would eventually serve two terms before leaving office.

SOCIALIST REVOLUTIONARY PARTY

-A Socialist Revolutionary Party is formed in Russian Empire. Its founders are Andrei Argunov, Mikhail Gots, Grigory Gershuni, and Viktor Chernov.

-Their party members were nickname S-R or Socialist Revolutionaries

1905: SOUTHERN CIVIL WAR

-On March 18, the situation in the slave states began to deteriorate as protests began to break out due to the issue of slavery. Many decades after the Canadian Civil War, the South began to industrialize and because of this, the use of slavery was seen no longer necessary or profitable. Yet despite that, the slave states would still cling to the very notion of slavery to the bitter end. This would surprisingly cause a new generation of southerners to join the abolitionist movements as their eyes were soon open and began to see Africans as human beings.

-All of this was thanks to a priest named Jimmy Gordon, a man from the state of Texas. He would broadcast speeches about how the slave states are hypocrites for calling themselves Christians and followers of God yet would allow the idea of slavery to exist. He went on to talk about the story of how Moses would free the Jews from slavery as it was Gods will to do so, meaning that he hated the notion of slavery. He would also preach about the 10 Commandments and how they should love their neighbor and treat them fairly, despite being different based on their skin color, religion, gender, etc.

-Needless to say, this made him very unpopular within the South and made him extremely hated by its people... at least those of the old generation.

-What they didn't know was that a new generation of southerners began to consider the Priest's words as their eyes were slowly being opened to the truth about how wrong slavery was. Soon many new generations of southerners from all of the slave states began to join abolitionist movements as they want to abolish slavery once and for all. However, once old generation southerners began to take notice of their children's actions, this would anger them as they would either disown them or inflict brutal punishment on them. One of them include whipping them the same way they treated their slaves.

-However, this did not deter them. Instead, it only fueled their hatred for slavery. It got worse when Jimmy Gordon was brutally and publicly killed by pro-slave activists from the old southern generation, claiming he was poisoning and corrupting their children and grandchildren with his lies. Needless to say, this would spark a violent civil war among southerners of the Old and New Generation.

-Fighting would break out as white southerners from the new generation would join abolitionist movements and seek to being an end to slavery. These violent protests would essentially cause violent and bloody fights to occur as parents would now be fighting against their own children and grandchildren, disowning them and calling them traitors to the southern way of life. Likewise, the children and grandchildren of slaver owners began to willingly kill their own parents and grandparents in the name of true freedom and equality from all people in Canada.

-This would forever go down in Canadian History as the Southern Civil War.

Worse, they are also facing international pressure and domestic consciousness from abolitionist movements in both the North and South. News would spread about the violence and their European allies would openly criticize them for over the issue of slavery. Worse, due to the fact that many of their immigrant citizens were either severely injured or brutally killed, Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary and other various nations would threaten to sever all ties with the United States of Canada.

-Faced with little choice and the threat of economic collapse, President Theodore Roosevelt and the entirety of the Canadian Government would announce the abolishment of slavery. African Canadian are to be set free and given rights as Canadian citizens. Furthermore, the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments are to be installed into the Canadian constitution. Furthermore, the man would let his racist ideals go and would begin to see non-whites as human beings and as equals.

-Ironically enough, this decision is fairly accepted by most of the Canadian citizens, even those from the south, as they viewed the idea of owing a person is abhorrently immoral. As expected, some southerners didn't like this, but there was nothing they could do. Then again, these complaints were mainly from the old generation who would slowly die out very soon.

-New laws are created however as whites and blacks are then segregated. However, despite the segregation between races, whites and blacks were willing to tolerate each other. Sometimes, if the situation calls for it, they also work together as well.

(A/N: There is still segregation in this world. However, it is less violent and have no white supremacists as the Jim Crow laws do not exist. In this world, Whites and Blacks still somewhat don't like each other, but are willing to tolerate each other's presence. In other words, White Canadians aren't white supremacists but instead are considered white separatists. They are Canadians who prefer to be with their own kind and not mix with other races.)

After all, the Canadian President didn't want one of his allies to make the same mistake the British did in the past.

-After some thought and consideration, Kaiser Wilhelm II agreed and decided to follow Roosevelt's words. Consequently, new policies were specifically made and implemented in Alsace-Lorraine for the French and French-Germans, allowing them the same rights as the Germans. Furthermore, the new regulations permitted intermarriage between German and French families, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation. This earned the trust and loyalty of the people in the state.

-Three days after the attempted assassination of Franz Ferdinand, tensions were still high. However, the spark would be lit due to negotiation efforts between France and Germany in forms of a peaceful solution between the two countries.

Citizens of the Entente Powers would attempt to also escape to Canada but were immediately deported back to their respective countries as they fear of the repercussions of citizens from two military factions fighting it out on the streets and cause chaos in the nation. -Canadian newspapers would fuel anti-British feelings by reminding them of the War of 1812 and their involvement in the Canadian Civil War. They also receive reports of civilians in Germany and Austria-Hungary going hungry due to the illegal blockade.
