So that was a long briefing. But was pretty exciting to know that we'll be doing recon around the area.

They said that they can't use any of the stuff that uses GPS or any space satellite related stuff. Meaning we're kinda in the dark at the moment.

Otto: I guess the Space Force, NASA and whatever has a lot to do.

I wonder who I'm teamed up with? Eh. I'll probably find that out tomorrow when they'll announce it.

It's the big day. Right now I'm reading off my list of the group I'll be in. And as of right now I'm in.......Third Recon Company.

And the commanding officer is-HOLY SHIT!!!! MAJ. WALKER DUSTIN!?!!?

It didn't take long to get there as I already see group gathering where it says for whatever Recon Team, Squad, Pathoon or Company. And I see "3RC" on a sign above said group. Good thing I see a couple of people I know.

Before the others can say anything Itami looked behind Otto and he said.

Dustin:*emotionless* Anyway, our main mission/task is mostly to do civil reconnaissance behind enemy lines within the area. Our secondary task is willing hearts and minds to with Imperial locals. As you know we already did so, but that was with non-humans. The area we'll be in would most likely be human populated and probably some remnants of elven settlements. This task may sound easy for some of you, but the ones who have experience knows the second we are out of visual distance from base. Then your within enemy territory.

William: For the ones who have experience, image it's like being the middle east. Vast lands, zero cover, zero knowledge of said land, IEDs, enemies hiding within the civilian population and enemy doing same task we're doing. Reconnaissance.

This hit almost everyone like a bus. Sure some have experience, but that was the battle of NY. Mostly Urban and in a area that everyone knew every layout and had GPS or any space satellite related stuff. They now all knew this was a different ball game.

William: So, to the ones that have somewhat experience, i.e the Battle of New York. Listen to ones that know a thing or two. This includes battles, firefights, what to do during an ambush and how to deal with a combat casualty. Both military and civilian. It also doesn't matter what rank they are so listen to they or we say and you'll get to live another day. Is that understood?
