Anthony walked up and spoke, "I am Captain Anthony Towson from the United States of America." Upon hearing that, the world dropped in shock and awe. "I was part of the USMC when the war come from 2022 to 2032."

"Are you from the future?" Kōhara asked.

"I'm not from the future of this world but the future of my world where the year is 2040 and we've been trying to recover from a nuclear war that occured in the eight to seven years prior."

"You mean to tell us you are survivor of a nuclear war?"

Anthony replied, "I was still in the USMC when the bombs fell in... some countries. I and many of the few allied troops from either Canada, the US, and Mexico to survivors from other countries that made it back across North America."

"So how did this war started." A US representative asked.

Anthony sighed, "The war was World War III." He said dropping the massive ball shocking everyone in the room. "It was the third world war and it was caused by a mix of factors. Some were the result of a growing divide between the haves and have nots. Others were the result of political corruption, greed, and fear. Then you got the Middle East's involvement in the war. I'll get to the Middle East in a bit. The US was the most powerful and richest country in the world but we were not alone in this. Russia was the second strongest and China was the third. All three countries had their own goals, ideas, and beliefs. It's the classic three sides of a story." He was about to continue, but the Diet representatives had questions.

"You're talking about the Cold War." A Russian representative interjected. "The United States and Soviet Union, the capitalist and communism powers." He said giving a glare. "If this is supposed to be a history lesson. You should have brought someone who wasn't involved in that conflict. Or better yet, a representative from the United Nations. That would be a better use of time." 

A Chinese representative added in, "The United Nations must have done something about this. Right?"

Anthony and his men give glare to the two representatives as if saying, 'No one will hear you scream.' then he explain how the UN disbanded in March of 2027 making a free for all during the war. The EU did the same 5 months after. Anthony then showed them the footage of the war and explained to them how the world went to hell.

Viewers around the world saw the footage of WW3 and seeing chemical munitions and biological weapons used during the seventh year of the war and the blatant disregard of the Geneva Convention. This caused many viewers around the world to shut off their TVs or close their tabs on computers or smartphones as they could not handle this scale of the war and death. Many people in the Japanese Senate walked out.

Yes, including Kōhara. She learned her lesson from seeing that mess. But, some stayed and were horrified by the sight. They could not believe they would use those weapons. But, what they really did not like was the North Koreans using the chemical and biological weapons on civilians.

Anthony then showed the Pacific Theater of the third world war, how the US government enacted the draft policy and was able to raise a force of 30 million troops to for the war. The Canadian and US soldiers in Power Armor mowing down hundreds of Chinese and North Korean troops down to the very ground they stand on. The destruction of Russian, Chinese, Iranian, and North Korean supplies of their armies stretch but it didn't break them fast enough and allied troops had to focus on helping innocent civilians evacuating. Lastly the bombs falling as Iran is backed to a corner with nothing to lose launch the nukes, North Korea then launch their nukes, followed by China, then Russia and lastly the US as a unstoppable chain reaction of everyone launching their nukes at each other. Some, thanks to Loyalists(Russian and Chinese) that supported the Allies redirect a few of the nukes to hit either themselves or the ocean.

Anthony then shows them of the footage of the bombs dropping and destroying everything in their way in almost every country. Many people cried at seeing their homes being reduced to cinders and ash causing a major uproar.

To the point that the Russian and Chinese representatives immediately.

Anthony then spoke, "North America is the only functional continent left on my world and I beg this world would help us to heal our world from the ashes of nuclear war. Plus, the US is now split into 15 major tribes." He said getting some looks from the people watching him. He then explains how the 50 US states are now 15 tribes and their location.

"I am also the leader of one of the major tribes called the Twisted Hairs." He said showing the tribal flag of the Twisted Hairs, and a symbol that appears on his vest. "We are a people that control over the counties of Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. We are known for the iconic and elaborate dreadlocks/cornrows worn by our members and have put meaning into making the braid. A symbol of resistance, strength, and endurance. We also have our own language and a culture of the old ways." He said as his men were nodding in agreement.

"This is also the flag of the Twisted Hairs Tribe." He said showing them the flag. "The colors of green represent the earth, blood, and fire. The symbols are of the braids, spear, braided middle, and star. The braids represents our cunning and the ability to work together in groups. The spear is our way of fighting, the braided middle is the connection between the tribe, and the star is our hope. Our people have been through much pain and suffering, we have fought and survived many challenges, and we are not alone." He then shows the flags and symbols of the other tribes. "The 15 tribes of America." He said showing the names of the tribes and their locations.

The UN representative spoke up, "We can discuss some things at the UN, I need to speak what's left of your North America."

Anthony wanted to roll his eyes but didn't then replied, "Thank you." And then quietly mutters, "Useless shitheads..."

The Chinese President Dong Dechou was furious at these American troops as their very presence angered him as many military experts say invading China and Russia is impossible and these capitalist did just that and according to them Iran shot the first the nuclear war, this also increase Iran's hatred of America.

Prime Minister Motoi Shinzō then realized and asked, "Wait, what happened to Japan in your world?"

Anthony looked away a bit, "Japan was annexed by China and North Korea during the Operation: EVACUATION OF JAPAN and later nuked by North Korea. After the bombs fell we have been trying to contact Japan and other nations to see if any nations survived the war."

Many Japanese citizens gasped at the response and immediately felt a sense of sympathy for their counterparts.

"One of my men here is a survivor/former JSDF soldier during that ordeal." Anthony said and pointed a man came up the podium and took off his helmet showing his Japanese hair and war scars.

"My name is Yonabaru Keisuke. I was born on June 23, 2002 in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. My mother died at childbirth and I was raised by my father until 2018. In 2023 I was drafted to the JSDF and trained in the JSDF Military Academy. In 2024 I was promoted to Sergeant and placed in the 1st Division's 2nd Recon Squadron, 1st Platoon. On October 28, 2024 I and three other friends were deployed to Okinawa where we were stationed near Naha Airport when the War reached Japanese soil." Yonabaru spoke in perfect Japanese that his comrades could not believe this was him speaking. "We were caught in the crossfire between the Chinese and North Korean Armies and we were ordered to protect the civilians, but I and my three other friends were trapped as the enemy surrounded us and I was captured and placed in a POW camp for 2 years until the Americans and one Filipino US Marine with Fox Ears rescued us. When we were rescued we were given the opportunity to return to Japan and serve our country. But then by May 20th, 2032. The Operation: EVACUATION OF JAPAN and I was ordered to evacuate my friends, myself and a few dozen civilians to safety. By then the bombs were falling and I was caught in the blast as I and a few others made it to safety and I was the only survivor and a few days later I was found and saved by the Canadians and South Koreans as we headed to prepare for our final battle. The Defence of Los Angeles. Many of my fellow Japanese comrades gave their lives to fight of enemy no matter what. I served in that battle until it's end." He finished as he stood at attention and saluted the nation. Everyone was shocked by this story, including the Prime Minister.

Many Japanese people were moved to tears and the US, South Korean, and Canadian troops were honored for their service. Even though, they were not part of the original JSDF. "I know our counterparts may not be happy at our presence, but we are here to protect Earth and help humanity against the enemies of mankind." Yonabaru said.

Many people were moved to tears after hearing his speech, including some of the JSDF. The JSDF was honored to be served alongside former members of the 1st Division.
