Garroth's POV:
"Aphmau, do we HAVE to bake cupcakes? Can't we just buy cupcakes?" I asked. I looked at Aphmau with big puppy dog eyes.
Aphmau giggled. "No, Garroth. We HAVE to make cupcakes. Kawaii~Chan is sick, and Katelyn really needs cupcakes for this party! She wants them to be home made, and plus, store bought cupcakes are never as good as ones made at home."
I fake pouted, my lips forming a deep frown.
"Don't look at me like that, Garroth! You know that that face makes me feel bad!" Aphmau said. I felt bad, so I instantly put on my normal face.
"I'm sorry, Aphmau."
"Don't you want to bake cupcakes?"
"Yeah, but I would rather be with you, snuggling, while watching a movie," I paused and watched her turn bright red. "This will be fun though." I smirked.
"So you'll enjoy doing this?" She asked.
"Since when do I not enjoy something that involves you?" I asked. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Aphmau smile.
Irene, she was beautiful when she smiled.
My eyes flicked to her full lips for a second. I badly wanted to kiss her. Yes, it's true. We haven't kissed yet. We wre close, we are a couple, and we have been dating, but we haven't kissed yet. I know, it's crazy. We've been together for a while now. Every second that we were together, the more I needed to kiss her.
Then, I continued to admire her beauty. It soon began to seem like I was staring at her. Luckily, I stopped myself and snapped out of my gaze before she noticed and thought that I was creepy.
Stop it, Garroth. You guys have only been officially together for a month. Stop being creepy.
Aphmau laced her fingers in mine. Sparks ran through my body, just like every other time we touched.
Time Skip (Like the freaking lazy wattpad writer boss I am!!!😂😂👏🏻👏🏻)
"Aphmau, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to set this house on fire. I can't cook. At all. Unless, we are making Ramon noodle or Mac' n' Cheese cupcakes, than I'm really no help," I explained. I leaned backwards against the kitchen island as I watched Aphmau dance to the music that she was playing on her phone.
"Garroth Ro'meave, that is nonsense. Baking cupcakes isn't that hard. We just have to follow the recipe," Aphmau said.
"Okay, but be prepared for an "I told you so" in the future," I said.
Aphmau rolled her eyes. "-You should do the same. I know that these cupcakes will turn out to be just-"
"Horrible?" I asked.
"No, I'm sure that they will turn out to be just fine," Aphmau said as she continued to dance.
Neither of us started to gather the ingredients yet. Aphmau just danced around the kitchen, singing or telling me funny stories.
'How could one woman be so gorgeous?' I thought as I bit my bottom lip.
Gosh, I was staring again. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
Aphmau must've noticed because she stopped dancing right in front of me, and turned to look at me, smirking.
"Garroth, what are you doing?"
Honesty is the best policy.
"Just looking at the most beautiful woman in the world," I said. She really was the most beautiful woman in the world.
Aphmau turned as red as a tomato, as suspected. It was adorable.
"You're adorable when you blush," I whispered.
Aphmau playfully slapped my arm.
"Hey! It's not a bad thing, my princess," I said, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Garroth, I'm the luckiest girl in the world for having you as my boyfriend," she said. I loved that word. Boyfriend. I was her boyfriend.
"-And I'm the luckiest guy in the world for having you as my girlfriend," I said. She smiled, placing her arms around my neck. Her eyes locked onto mine.
Come on, Garroth! Just kiss her already!
This was it.
The space between us was shrinking by the second. We were inches apart. I could feel her breath on me, and I could smell her strawberry scented shampoo that I loved.
Suddenly, the door bell rang.
Great timing, universe.
Aphmau's face mirrored mine. We both scowled, and glared in the direction of the front door.
Moment officially ruined.
I grunted in anger as Aphmau pulled away reluctantly.
Aphmau gave me an apologetic smile as she walked to the door; that stupid door. Her footsteps were heavy as she walked. It was almost like she was stomping.
I chuckled to myself as I heard Aphmau swing the door open in fury. Even though I was in a different room, I knew that she opened the door with a sarcastic smile on her face.
Who the h**l interrupted us?
I hate that door bell. This isn't the first time that it has interrupted us. The same thing happened yesterday, and Katelyn interrupted us because she came by to tell us about the cupcakes.
The kitchen was right next to the living room, where the door was, so I could hear everything.
"H-Hey Katelyn," Aphmau said sarcastically, as if she didn't want to see her.
"What's your problem? Last time I checked, you weren't me," Katelyn said in her usual tone of voice.
"I was busy, Katelyn!" Aphmau said. I smirked.
"With what? Aphmau, this is Garroth, your boyfriend,'s house," Katelyn pointed out.
"Umm... Making cupcakes," Aphmau said.
"Right. So you weren't just busy with making out with him?"
"Katelyn! We haven't even-" She stopped herself.
"-Haven't even what?"
"That doesn't matter right now, Katelyn. Now, why the heck are you here?"
"Just making sure that you guys were starting to make the cupcakes, but I guess I shouldn't be worried about that because you are already making them," Katelyn said.
"Couldn't you have just texted me?" Aphmau asked, annoyed.
"Hey, I was worried that you wouldn't answer!" Katelyn defended.
"Ugh, fine. Well, now you have checked up on us. You can leave now," Aphmau said. I could feel Katelyn smirking mischievously as Aphmau closed the front door.
