*Garroth's POV*
"Garroth you're really good at dancing! I just feel like I'm going every-which-way!"
"Nonsense I think you are doing fine, but let me ask you a question"
"What is it?"
"You never said anything about your family, do you have brothers or sisters?"
I think I hit a hardspot, she stopped dancing and is now standing still.

*Aphmau's POV*
Oh no, I don't know what to say. I just stopped and started shaking my head no. As all the memories of my dad and mom came flooding in. And when my dad married Matilda.
"I'm sorry Garroth"
I ran. I just started bolted but then I ran into something, someone rather. I had tears running down my face.
It was Laurence.
"Sorry Laurence."
"No it's fine, why are you crying?"
"Nothing! Tell Garroth I said bye, that I had a great time, and that I'm not mad at him. And if he wants to talk to me tell him where I live. Oh and tell Cadenza I said thanks. Bye!"
And I run off into the night. On my way home.
When I finally reach home, I heavily sigh as I close the door. I then trudged up to my room. I neatly folded my dress. Changed into my worn out old purple dress and my flats. I took out my hair and let my loose curls fall. I then started to lightly sing a lullaby my mother sang to me when she was alive. I then ended up humming the last part. "That was beautiful." I startled and looked up to see Garroth. "My mother used to sing it to me." I said and quickly wiped away a forming tear. "What are you doing here Garroth?" Shouldn't you be enjoying the ball. He lightly chuckled and she didn't know why. "Well tonight I was supposed to chose a wife...." He trailed. Her eyes widened. "Wait?!—But! But!— Wouldn't that make you the–the Prince?! What–Why are you here?!" The next words that he said shocked her but not as much as when he kissed her.
