Sorry. I need to let this out.
My mom has been dating this guy on/off for almost 8 years. His name is Gene.
But anyways, STORY TIME!
Yesterday Gene came over to celebrate my birthday with my family. I got henna tattoo stuff from my Mom. And anyways, fast forward. Gene asked me to draw on his arm with the henna tattoo. He was my first time drawing with the henna so I apologized in advance to him. And we had been listening to music. As we were I said something that wasn't appropriate and would usually be offensive to other people. But Gene just shrugged it off because he is cool like that. And after he left my mom scolded/sternly told me that I shouldn't of said that. And I felt really guilty.
Earlier today I texted Gene and asked if I could see how the henna turned out. And he didn't reply for around three hours. So I texted him a very long paragraph about how sorry I was about saying that and how I am terrible with people and his response literally made me cry.
He said:
(1/3) It's OK,  i didn't really care i know you are a good girl/person
(2/3)  so i want mad about it at all and i will send you the pic once
(3/3) u get off 😎

That is literally what he said, I just copied the text.
So in turn he said that it didn't bother him and that it was okay. Also that I'm am an amazing person and that he would send me the pic of the tattoo when he gets off work.
I replied saying okay and that he was too cool.
He is so sweet, and I love him a lot, as a Dad figure of course.
He is an amazing guy. And I really want to have one like that when I get older.
