"Ah!" Cadenza yells and makes a force field over the kids. "Mom!" Kion yells over the blast. "What's going on?!" "I don't know!" Cadenza replies. "But this must be the threat!" "The Shadow Lord!" Suddenly Cadenza's eyes start flickering red. "OMI.." Crystal now yells. "Not you two!" Cadenza looks back at the children. "I'm sorry." She whispers and turns into full Shadow Knight form and attacks the kids with Garrotb bye her side. Garroth and Cadenza both get ready to blast a fire ball,  destroying the kids when at the last moment...Kion huddles around the kids making his own magic forced field.
"Wow!" Ash yells. "Great job Kion!" Kion looks at his hands, "How did I do that.." He muttered. Suddenly Crystal...disappears. "Crystal!" Ash yells. "Don't worry." Kion says. "I have a strong feeling she'll come back." "Well the worst is not over yet!" Ash replies "Look!". Cadenza and Garroth continue to fire magic at Ash and Kion.
Suddenly Ash grows wings and flys up above the magic. "Wheee!" She screams happily and picks up Kion while he makes force fields to block the dark magic. "Oh if only there was a way to fight back.." Kion mutters. As soon has he said the words blue fire appears on his hands. "Ah!" He screams thinking he's on fire, but surprisingly the flames aren't burning him. "Wow!" He yells. "Ash put me down!" "Maybe I can use this against the Demons!" "But we don't want to hurt them!" Ash replies setting Kion on top of a hill. "If they die the real Cadenza and Garroth will too!
"I won't kill them." Kion says a determined look on his face. "Just enough to make them weak so we can get to safety and maybe cure them." "Ok." Ash mutters. "I trust you."
"Ok then..fire!" Kion says pointing his hands toward incoming Cadenza and Garroth. A small but powerful blue fire ball hits them both sending them down for a crash landing. "I hope that was enough." Ash says. "To knock them out." "Yeah." Kion replies. "Come on let's go see." Ash says and flys down the hill. "Ummm Ash..no wings remember?" Kion says a slight smile on his face. "Oh...ya..sorry." Ash replies and picks up Kion and flys down the hill.
