"Happy Birthday Kion!" Cadenza said placing a cake on the table. Today was Kions 16th birthday and Cadenza, Garroth and the kids we're all celebrating at their house. Laurence and Kitana were planning to meet up too. "Thanks mom." Kion said and blew out the candles after everyone had sang Happy Birthday. Cadenza and Garroth smiled, today was going to be a happy day for their kids. But somewhere in the back of her mind, Cadenza still worried about the threat that hung over Matelli, waiting to strike. Garroth cut the cake and handed it out to everyone. Then he whispered to Cadenza, "Maybe we should tell Kion and the others about the prophecy.." "There're old enough to understand." "Yes,." Cadenza said. "It's time.." Laurence and Kitanna arrived just in time for cake. "Hey you two!" Cadenza smiled warmly. "Where have you been?" Kitana and Laurence looked and smiled at each other, even though they were technically brother and sister through Cadenza, they had fallen in love and had just gotten married a couple of years ago. "Oh..we've been..out and about..." Laurence said. "Yeah!" Kitanna agreed. "On a date..." Garroth muttered with a smirk on his face. "Hey!" "I heard that!" Laurence said playfully giving Garroth a light punch to the arm. "Oh you wanna go Laurence!" Garroth said playfully as the two men began to spar, lightly punching each other and dodging. "Heheh." Kitanna laughed. "Even though they are grown men they are still kids at heart." "Hehe ya." Cadenza agreed. Just then the two women heard Kion and Crystal shout, "Defend Father!" Rushing down to the field with wooden swords to join the "battle". Just then Ash shouted, "No! Defend my
father!" Rushing down to help Laurence. Cadenza and Kitanna looked at each other..they couldn't help themselves. "Charge!" Both the women shouted and Kitanna went to Laurence's side and Cadenza went to Garroth's. It was great fun.

At sunset after everyone had left except for Garroth Cadenza Ash Kion and Crystal.

Wow! Kion said happily looking over his gifts which included a bow and arrow, a warm winter coat, and a saddle for his horse he got last year, named Pip. "Thank you!" Cadenza and Garroth smiled. "Your welcome darling." Cadenza said warmly. "But there's still one more present for you...." Just then Garroth and Cadenza both grew there wings and flew up into the air. All the kids were in awe. "Wow...." They all said in unison. Garroth then blue fired magic in the air, creating a picture of three kids. "There is a prophecy." Cadenza told them." "That 3 of my kin." "Will come together to defeat the biggest threat the world has ever seen." Cadenza flashed red magic showing a picture off those same kids defeating a monster. "Wait..what.." Ash said astonished. "How could we do that?" "We have no powers like you." "Oh but you do." Garroth said. "There in here.." Garroth pointed to Ash's heart. Suddenly Garroth's eyes turned red and his voice turned evil and cold, "All hail the Shadow Lord!" He yelled and fired dark magic at Cadenza and the children....
