Your pov

The two of you searched and searched for something, anything, dealing with a different way in regards to defeating Demitri. Unfortunately, you both came up empty handed. You had a feeling that this was going to be the result, but there was a piece of you that had hopped you'd be lucky.

With each second of looking for information, your little bit of hope started to deplete. Even now, the only option that is left is to kill Dylan.

"Hey, y/n, it's going to be okay. Everything will work out in the end, I promise." Dylan comforts you and pulls you into a warm hug. You wanted to believe him, you truly did but how could you?

"How can you say that? We don't have many other options left to stop him and I don't want to lose you again...not again." you feel him hug you tighter while he buries his face in your hair.

"Shh, you won't lose me. You can't lose me. Even in the afterlife, I will always be with you, right in here." he finishes and pokes the area where your heart lays. You give a small smile at his attempt to lift your spirits.

It wasn't long before your face turned to a worried state as you look at Dylan. He suddenly starts to cradle his head in his hands and lets out a grunt. You can hear his heavy breathing as he starts letting out other pain filled noises.

"Hey, are you alright?" you ask with concern. He takes a moment before answering that he is fine. "It's just a small headache." He says.

You don't wholly believe him, but let it slide for now as you two continue your search.

Dylan's pov

Why does my head hurt so much? Damn, this doesn't feel like a regular headache. Sh*t, it feels like someone is repeatedly beating my head with a baseball bat. I can't have y/n know how bad it is, she doesn't need to worry more than she is already.

It took a minute for it to subside before my stomach started to hurt. This pain feels like I'm being stabbed. I grit my teeth and bear through it and wait for it to subside before continuing the walk.

I notice that throughout the continued search, y/n didn't stop glancing at me. I had to constantly reassure her that everything is fine.

"I have to use the restroom, so I'm going to go over here and...yea." I say as I travel to a different room. I hadn't seen a bathroom or anything resembling one since escaping my cage. Since the whole place is pretty much outdoors and covered in dirt and grass, I don't see why I can't just piss wherever.

As soon as I finish, I start to head back to y/n when suddenly I am unable to see. I blink a few times and then I am able to see again, but I'm not looking through my eyes. I'm able to see the outside, all the destruction that is being caused. I am looking through Demitri's eyes!

I can see countless people being torn apart by the creatures he had summoned and some of them being eaten. It is so sick to see this, and for some reason, I feel a bit of excitement. I shake my head and go back to being able to see from my point of view. Is this the work of the demon?

What the hell is going on with me?

Devin pov

"So, now that we made it into the creature's new home, what is our next course of action?" Nathan asks.

"Find our friends? Maybe?" I ask sarcastically. What else would be our next step?!

I take a look around the room we were able to crawl in to. Why does it always have to be a form of castle with this guy? Was he born in the medieval ages or something?

"I know that, what I meant was, after we find them."

My heart sinks a bit as I finally say what we will have to do. "After we find them, we have to kill Dylan."

They both carry shocked faces. "You can't be serious, right? He's your best friend." Drake asks in disbelief.

I nod my head. "He is my best friend, but the only way to stop Demitri is to kill Dylan. It's not like I want to do this but if we don't, thousands of people will die."

"Before we get too dedicated to your plan, little brother, let's just find them." Drake says.

We stayed silent for a while and began our search for my friends. I hope he hasn't hurt Y/n. I hope I'm not too late. Hell if it wasn't for Dylan last time, the monster would have raped her. I pray that I am not late again.

We walk up the first flight of stairs we see. If anything, Demitri will have her hidden away at the very top of this place. This almost feels like a fairytale, with the monster kidnapping a princess and hiding her away from the rest of the world.

"So, our friends from the bar are out helping the officers and whoever else is attempting to fight the beast. As soon as we find Y/n and Dylan, we start spraying some weed killer and light fire to this place. That should get his attention to come back for a fight." I could hear Nathan mumbling to himself.

I feel bad that my brothers are getting into this mess, especially since they have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

"Guys, if something happens to us or we don't make it, just know that I love you. I am so glad we are siblings and I couldn't ask for better brothers." I tell them.

They stay quiet for a moment before I'm being crushed between the two. "No need to be sappy dude, we aren't going down so easy" Nate states

"We always bounce right back." Drake finishes.

"Now let's go rescue some friends." Nate says with a grin.
