I'm back Adventurers!!

So finally decided to take a break from my basement of pretty boys and come out here to hunt for more.😈😈

Today,  Loves_Writing2704 decided to grace us with her presence!! We'll be focusing on her book 'Eternal Fire'

Well well well, oh great Queen of the Dragons, welcome to my den of Wolves.

The Den of the Evil Queen herself!

Li: Can you start already?🤦

Lo: Two queens of evil😈

So: Oooooohh interesting. Two Queens in one Den. Let's see who survives this first.

Lo: (It‘s fine) Let the match begin...

So: Tell me about your story. What's it all about?

Lo: It’s about a female fire dragon whose fire is a tad too much, in a world of war and kidnapping. She gets kidnapped a couple of times.
Her life is very uncontrollable, so she tries to gain some control; whilst protecting those she loves.

So: I see. She's very loyal to family. Reminds me a lot about the famous movie Mulan.

Li: 🎶Am I loooooyal, brave and true🎶

So: Exactly Lilly!

Lo: I‘ve not actually seen that movie, maybe in the future I’ll see it. Yeah, loyal, until she has no control whatsoever.

So: You haven't?😱

Well they have one thing in common, loyalty to family.

Lo: I know, I know, I need to see it, but I don’t have it.

So: What inspired you to write it? I mean you're literally threading on dangerous waters!😲 Writing about animals, not just any animal but Dragons!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!

Lo: 🙃Yeah! I wanted to read about dragons, not humans and dragons. Just dragons. So, I wrote my own.
The idea basically just came to me on the way home, and then I dove in (ditching what I was currently writing -it wasn't very good) and things just happened. Like Humanyos just appeared.

Ember, is similar to myself, in some ways, although she’s a bit more. . . athletic, outgoing and confident. Although our circumstances are very different, like I’m not fighting in a war, being kidnapped.🤷

So: Writers tend to create character personalities out of themselves. So it's not a surprise that Ember will be a bit like you.

Why did you choose that title?

Lo: So, originally it wasn't called Eternal Fire, that came when I was nearing the end. It comes from Ember’s gift/curse, and that's how her fire is wayyy different to a normal, fire dragon’s fire.

So: You have a point calling her fire a gift and curse. It's a double edged sword.

Lo: Yes, and that is something that is more apparent in the 2nd and 3rd parts. Although her fire is the reason she got kidnapped in the first place...

So yes, she is powerful, but things happen around her because of that power.

So: Yep. It's a burden to carry such great power.

Whose your fave character?

Lo: This is such a hard question, like I’ve got sooo many. If I had to narrow them down to one, it would be Air. Their interactions are great, especially with the other deities, and their story too... maybe I could write a story about Air... thinking.

So: Nowadays y'all like other characters more than the main character.

Lo: Maybe it‘s because they’re so sinilar to ourselves...

So: I think I kinda like Wave. I tend to be drawn to the evil guys.

Red: Sigh. . . I try hard to make you see the light but you just keep running back to the dark side Sophie.

Lo: 😄Wave, yeah, he‘s great when he appears, which isn't that often...

So: I know but he's still cool. Although I don't know why he keeps attacking them.

What's up with them? Why are they even fighting? They're Dragons, shouldn't they be wise. What's the point of their whole fight?

Lo:It started many years ago, both sides are too proud to give in, and with no other major threats (that they have noticed) they have no reason to band together.

So they’re fighting until one can’t continue, or until something else happens.

So: That's so sad. What about these guardians. They claim they want peace. But I'm thinking there's something in it for them. What are they hiding?

Lo: They want peace and they want to protect the remaining dragon species. But they also want to become the most powerful group in order to protect, but then there are also going be those who take advantage of that and the bond a Guardian has with the planet (which makes them even stronger).

They are most definitely hiding things, you’ve only got to look at Midnight, and then there’s the whole of Humanyos and Almaisier...

So:  I thought as much. There's always a dark secret.

Why as midnight been hiding his real identity from the others? Is he just doing it for the element of surprise or there's more?

Lo:What fun is an organisation without darks secrets?

Midnight's identity... he's cautious because if dragons found out that he exists, he’s meant to be extinct, what will they do? They’d try and get him on their side, figure out if there was more, and it’ll turn into a power struggle like it was with the healing dragons. He’s also got responsibilities that is easier to do if he is just an ordinary dragon as he can just disappear.

So: I understand now. That makes a lot of sense. And from this then it proves there's more of his kind out there.

Lo: Yes, if there’s him, years after their extinction, what other powerful species are out there?

So: Okay that's cool😯. There are a lot of them out there! Yet the other Dragons be fighting over puny things when greater things are at play.

Anywho, who's your least favorite character?

Lo: This is a tossup between two characters. I dislike the Queen because no-one really knows her intentions, they’re hinted at, I’m telling you, they’re not good.

Then we have Ember’s Fire... I just get frustrated with it trying to become more powerful and stuff

So: Yeah I heard something about some evil Queen when midnight was talking to his butterfly. She must be real bad news.

You hate Ember's fire, yet you created it. Lol

Lo: Yep, I love that butterfly. The things that we create are some of our least favourite.

So: I want my own butterfly too!😭

Lo: I need to find someone to make them...😭

So: Like seriously! The butterfly will come in handy in my basement of pretty boys 😺

Lo: Okay... 😌 It seems to know everything.

So: 😌 It's the best.
So what was your fave scene?

Lo: Again... there’s two.
One is when Tsavolite first (I think) meets Ember, it was just so much fun.

The second was Air just going on at the other deities, that was also so much fun, a bit of a challenge because how do you insult an immortal being that has lived for thousands of years?

So: Super challenge! But girl you're doing just fine. Your struggles ain't even obvious in the book.

Gotta read about Air. You keep bring Air up!🙃

Lo: Thank you! There was some hard scenes to write.

Air is just great. I need to write a book just about them.

So: The Irony, they're your fave scenes yet the hardest to write. Where there any other hard scenes?

You gotta write about Air! I'm sure Air deserves it. if you had to switch main characters then it would be Air, right?

Lo: There was this scene on Humanyos, where I kept losing my progress! That was hard, but there was this scene during the final battle (which isn’t at the end) which I knew what was going to happen, but it was with heavy fingers that I pressed the keys

I would switch with Air, all the fun that they must have. There’s also struggles, but much fun.

So: Awwwn. Battle scenes are always hard to write. All the fights, then you have to part with a character as well.

Air: Yaaaaaaaaassss

Lo: 😆😅 It was the way that this character died too, it was so hard, especially for Ember.

So: Awwwwnnnnn😣

Hey tell me about Scar. That Dragon is so brave. Took on the great King Wave at such a young age

Lo: Oh yes he did, kinda stupid, but he lived. He just appeared when I started writing, he’s loyal and willing to give his life for the fire dragons. And his ’failure’ just makes him so loyal to Ember’s family, and when anything happens to them, he just blames it upon himself.

So: He's a good person. Good people don't take failure easy on themselves. We need lots of people like him around

Too bad he's not human. Or I would have kidnapped him! 😎😈

Lo: We definitely need more like him, I would doubt that he’d be that easy to kidnap, even if he were human.

So: Hehehehe! I see you're trying to protect him from me! 😸

Lo: I- noo I’m just warning you. Maybe a bucket of water over the head?

So: 😁😁 Because that's he's only weakness! You're tempting me! It's not a bad idea having a dragon in my collection 🤔

Lo: He’d be cute and protective... maybe I am tempting you😈😈

So: That's it! I'm so kidnapping—no— Dragon-napping him.😈😈😈😈
If he goes missing in the book, just know I have him!

So will you like to wake up in your world of dragons?

Lo: Yes, but it’ll be better if I was a dragon.

So: If you were a Dragon, which of your characters will it be?

Lo: I think that I’d be an air dragon, calm, but can be fun and a bit silly at times.

So: I knew you were going to say Air!😅 Ember I'm so sorry but you're a lost cause.

So who will you like to give a shout-out to?

Lo: I’ll give a shout-out to Pennator who writes dragon stories in a world similar to our own. I’m a fan of their books. And I’ll do PartyPoison99 who introduced me to Wattpad.

Lo: It feels only right to recommend Pennator’s book 'The Silver Dragon' , which is what I’m currently rereading!

So: I have a book with a dragon concept I plan one writing. But that book as to wait in line like the rest of the books in my head waiting to be written 🙃

Lo: I have so many concepts.
