Today in the Garden, I have with me the sweet ParinitaKoli and we will be focusing on her book, "Ruined"

Your name, Parinita, is really romantic to call, I love it❤. What does it mean?

Pa: My name actually means Expert/God of Completeness and it can also be use to refer to a woman who is married. I am not married though, 😂😂

Li: Waoh, that's such a lovely meaning to an equally lovely name.😍😍

What's your plot about, for the sake of my audience?

Pa: The plot is about a girl's life which gets ruined because of her father's long friendship with a man.

Li: Wait. . .hold up a second. . . Her life gets ruined by her Father's relationship with a man.
What kind of relationship are we talking about here, is her father Gay or Bisexual?🤔

Pa: No No! Her father is not gay. He just shares a very tight platonic friendship with this guy from his childhood.

Li: So, What inspired this story of yours?

Pa: The thing that inspired my story was the love towards my family. My friends and my family are the most important persons for me.

So when, I thought to write a book, I just thought to write on the relationship and love of a  father and a daughter.

Li: Who is your favourite character?

Pa: My favourite character is Kim Daeun.

Li: Why is she your favourite?

Pa: Well, because she is such a sweet girl.
Whenever Sakura was sad or a bit off, Kim was there to lighten up her mood and make her happy.

She remained with Sakura till the very last moment. She is a bit teasy but, who wouldn't love such a friend.😊

Li: I wouldn't want a boring friend. No way!😁

Who is your least favourite character?

Pa: I don't think I dislike any character specifically because everyone of them had their own sufferings and problems.

Li: Yeah, every character has a sort of back story even the ones I wish we could butcher🙄 so, please give me one name. I promise not to hurt them😁

Pa: 🌚If I think of one. . . I'd say Hannah. She shouldn't have supported her husband in whatever he did.

Li: Perfect!😈

Pa: Lilly, you promised not to hurt her!😳

Li: 🤪 I'll make it quick!

Okay, so what scene was your favourite?

Pa: My all time favourite scene,  which I actually enjoyed while writing, was the time when Sakura was nervous about the dance competition and got teased by her friends.

Li: Uuuh! You see, there is a little evilness in all of us😄

Pa: 😁☺️😁

Li: Okay, so what scene was most difficult for you to write?

Pa: The most difficult scene for me to write, was the time when Sakura and Hin Soo got to know about Hannah. They found out that Hannah has been telling lies in school.

That time much things got revealed, emotions and point of views of every character.

Li: Why was that difficult for you?

Pa: It was difficult because I had to describe all of that to my audience in a better and realistic way so they can understand.

I wrote my whole book giving it my best, but I still need to learn more.

Li: Yeah, I noticed how you struggle with description but I think you have a good head start. Keep writing and you'll get better.

Would you ever like to take the place of a character in your book?

Pa: Oh I think😁. . . if I would take a place of any character in my book, then it would be definitely be our little Kiwi.

Li: Ohh energetic little Kiwi😊. Why her?

Pa: It's just for fun because she is very energetic as you put it. Even though she has also had much suffering in her life, I think she is really a brave little girl.

Li: Oh that she is, it isn't quite easy to go through what she did and still come out strong✌✌

What message did you inscribe in your book for your readers?

Pa: Yeah, as I promised to make books which will have helpful and supportive moral teachings. Ruined, being my first book is strongly on that path.
Ruined, tells you to never loose hope because if a spark of hope is there, then there is nothing that can't be achieved.

Ruined will teach you to be a kind and brave person too.

Li: Waoh that's a very powerful message Parinita, thanks for spreading the message of Hope, we all need it.
